Hailee wanted to take the easiest route, because she absolutely hated procedures of any kind, but she understood, even though it was still a bit disappointing. Not like complaining was going to fix this any. She sighed, though how bad could it really be? She was a big girl after all! "I understand, I'll be fine with that than." She spoke softly, listening to her explaining the after effects, only for her words to cut short before finishing. "Then what??" Hailee questioned, desperately wanting more information. Though, it seemed it was not going to be answered, the nurse seemed to be spacing out..was that really a good idea when tending to a patient? Unless she'd been working without sleep, but wouldn't that not be a good idea with that line of work? She tried to get comfortable, but that alcohol hitting the injured spots hurt soo much, she practically squealed while wincing as it was so sudden. Huffing, she calmed down some as Kagerou was tending to her, Hailee's mind wandered to how many patients tried to run from there rooms that were squeamish at hospitals, and how annoying it was to chase them. Than she wondered how they go about that delicately, which took her a lot of wondering, and trying to ignore every aching pain by taking her thoughts on just that, and only that thought.
Suddenly, Hailee's head started to spin, like she started to feel really sick or lack of sleep. Her gaze suddenly flicked to Toso being thrown inside by Kagerou, though she only wandered why throw him like a doll. Than, Amorette started acting weird. She started making weird sounds, pushing her paw against her face. It was kinda weird that Toso admitted not feeling fine, he seemed fine a few minutes ago. Hailee answering the question of Kagerou soon after. "Honestly..my head feels kinda.heavy.." She admitted, when Toso's tentacles suddenly shot towards the two unsuspected, as he seemed confused, it wasn't his own acts which was really freaking odd. Hailee quickly lunged herself out of the way, hoping Kagerou would too, that was not expected, what exactly was going on? "Hey, what are you doing? Is this some kind of test?" Hailee questioned, baffled by what was happening. She didn't have much time to process, but she tried to keep her distance somewhat.

In a textbook case of mind working faster than body, Kagerou easily picked up on the change in Toso's manner of speaking, namely from "bloop" to "blood," but her body, sluggish with the efforts to resist her own desire to lash out at the fresh, young body in the room with her and Toso, could not move in time to avoid the hunger of Toso's tentacles. They caught her and wrapped around her body, to which Kagerou's initial reaction to the danger was to free herself through the most efficient means possible. This was an emergency, after all.
She was stopped from dismembering and detaining Toso by the offender's own voice, however. Once it processed through Kagerou's mind that Toso was at a loss himself, Kagerou couldn't bring herself to just cut through Toso's limb without a second thought. With a second thought? Oh sure. The option was still on the table, but by considering it for a little longer, she came to her senses. Well, not entirely, but remembering what she wanted to stand for brought things into perspective, gave her mind an anchor to grasp onto as it fought the deluge of cravings filling her thoughts.
Meat. The satisfying sensation of tearing through flesh. The taste of fresh meat, washed down with the refreshing trickle of blood down her throat. Standing above the prey as an apex predator. Such violent thoughts flooded her mind with the rise of the red moon, but all of it cleared when she was faced with the threat that she could be harming an innocent. This… It was valid of a shinobi to put down those who threatened the peace and order of a village, but to harm someone who was doing so because of circumstances outside of their control was not her shinobi way.
Kagerou's biggest strength, since ignoring her other natural abilities in favor of what she believed in, had always been her calm. Her strength of will combined with innate peace of mind and prior experience not only with the grotesque and bizarre but also with having her desires tampered with to the extreme gave her the tools to resist. She smiled, a forced smiled but also a genuine one. This welling desire inspired her to perform acts that were so much worse, but now that she had a grasp on it, she recognized that compared to the Sero's pollens, the red moons grip was weak. She gained ground little by little as she regained rational thought whilst being throttled by Toso's tentacles. Hey, another parallel, she was being attacked by tentacles this time, too. Though, she knew that the owner of the tentacles of the previous attack would prefer to call them tendrils.
"No, an emergency," Kagerou found a way to eke out these words with the breath she was slowly beginning to lose "Hailee, stay put and…" As she spoke, her arm had worked its way out of the kraken's grip, not entirely, but enough. Her hand weaved a motion, and the bells upon the wrist rang. It was a ring like any other time, the same ringing they'd been doing this entire day so consistent that it had all but faded into the background. Now, however, it held a soothing genjutsu within it, one that, with B-rank chakra, forced those within earshot to calm down and cease their violent tendencies. Surely, this should be enough to return to Toso control over his tentacles.
When the genjutsu took effect and Toso's tentacles released Kagerou, she coughed out a few breaths before returning to what she was about to say to Hailee, which also served as a debrief to Toso of the situation she had glimpsed. She stood, minding her grace as her arms flowed with her movements, rising up and down to create the gentle ringing of bells. "… Okay, listen to me. Something is happening that's turning all the shinobi feral. Civilians seem unaffected, so they're becoming prey." She paused, allowing her first thought, to pass as she clenched her fist in frustration. Helping everyone in the hospital now was not only out of her abilities, but only a solution in the short-term, one that would become a mistake in the long term. Kagerou could hold herself in check with reasonable effort for now, but she wasn't going to be so conceited as to think that she'll be able to keep it up forever. "We need to find the source of all this. It seemed to be caused by the red moon, and for now, that's the only clue we have."
While lost in her thoughts and the continuing battle of fighting against her new instincts, a chance glance at Hailee reminded Kagerou to not forget about the others things that were important. Kagerou turned her frown upside down and smile gently. Times like these were the most important times to keep her spirits up. In time with her decision to change her pace, an explosion rocked the building, followed by even more. Things were getting even further crazed. Kagerou hurried, kneeling as she spoke. "Before anything, Hailee, I'd like to teach you the technique I'm using now." Her hands moved in search of the appropriate seals, bells ringing with the movements. "Keep a safe distance, though. This technique I'm using, known as Kaiteki Uta, the Comfort Song, affects everyone but the user. You'll need an instrument, and through the sounds it makes, you can channel chakra that will bring calm to those who hear it. The easy trick is to be calm yourself and try to spread that feeling, but otherwise... You use a mellow chakra wave to settle the opponent's chakra and make them slightly lethargic. That's the best way I can think of to describe it right now. Someone of Toso's level… takes a lot of chakra, but this might be able to buy you enough time to run away from any feral shinobi. I think you should learn it, and don't worry if you don't know how to play an instrument. All you need for this technique is the ability to make a single note." When Kagerou's hands reappeared, they held in their hands an instrument that would be fitting for Hailee. Small and simple for her to make a note on. [1/6 Comfort Song]

It would certainly feel like a hug gone too far...and they were making a move towards er...'places' it didn't help the poor girls situation that she choose such promiscuous attire. However, before it could escalate past anything pg-13 Kagerou's quick thinking turned them into limp noodles again. "It certainly was beneficial we had someone skilled in these performing arts of genjutsu blood." Like snakes they seemed to retract somewhat. But in the recoiling of one, there came the arrival of the others.
tabIt seemed they to were infected with a primal desire and lust for blood, of course being extensions of the squidman it was merely Toso's typical unique channeling of his emotions into his tentacles that led to these stranger turns of tentacular beastial events. Thankfully Kagerou's calming genjutsu made what would have been a wild frenzy of lashing tentabois calm down into similar noodle piles. Then what happened shortly after was each of tentacles started to leak a silver greyish substance. Hailee would recognize it as the ink he had used in their mock spar that could shape itself. They each started assuming the forms of dog like heads at their tips. Tamed, they were puppy like heads in appearance. If you crossbred cerberus and his tentacles you'd likely get this six headed abomination though somewhat cuter than a rough imagining of them.

His larger arm tentacles essentially looking like the momma and papa heads while the other four from his back gathered around them and made a nest like structure as they appeared to be napping in a pack. "Well that's this dilemma solved for now blood. I can only assume you to be correct in your assumptions, though I find your level of comfort to this current situation slightly unsettling. blood." He would say in regards to Kagerou being significantly more calm in this type of situation, one that would typically incite fear and confusion in most. Of course Toso being blissfully unawares of well, everything that occurred in Kirigakure his ignorance was well founded.
Of course Kagerou would suddenly jump a gun and begin to tell Hailee that she needed to learn and do something out of nowhere. Her call to action was rather impressive though at the same time perhaps a bit overly impulsive. "Don't you think you're asking a bit much so suddenly Ka-nee? Blood. In fact we've no clue if there's even an instrument on hand for that matter what with this being a hospital. Blood. Blooood. Honestly, I think the most ideal thing we should be doing is leaving the hospital before any likely would be hunters come crashing through the windows demanding our heads."

Even though Hailee attempted to dodge the tentacles, it was hard enough to avoid what with the given time she had in realizing what was happening, and one managed to snag her midst in escape. Her face practically flushed into a maroon red color as the tentacles went places one must never journey too, about to freak out, until suddenly Kagerou calmed the tentacles and had them release the two. Sighing, she was glad it didn't go any further than that, but also couldn't help wondering what on earth was going on. Toso seemed to not be in control of his body, what could any of this all mean? This being a test seemed out of the question as even Toso was left unaware, but things were certainly getting strange. Her attention turned to Kagerou soon after, ..was what she was saying true?? Ninja's were going..feral?? And the red moon outside was the reason for it? She was glad she wasn't outside now..this was all becoming too unreal and freaking terrifying. It was almost like the apocalypse was upon them, in a much more frightening setting. Ninja's weren't slow moving like zombies, and they were smarter. Who wouldn't panic to that??!
"I don't understand..how a mere moon can do all that. Is there someone behind this? It-it doesn't make any sense." Hailee glanced left and right between the two, her heart felt like it was pounding, banging from this scary hell that was happening. She'd rather be dealing with zombies, and pretty much that's saying a lot. But she has to keep her title of the great and powerful Hailee going strong, so she can't let something like this stand in her tracks like a deer in headlights! Than again, she hadn't even trained as much as she'd like too..while Kagerou and Toso both certainly seemed well strong and probably trained quite a lot from the looks of it. She would turn to face Kagerou once she had spoken her name, gesturing for her attention. The ninja would nod her head, backing off a bit and keeping a watchful eye on this skill she was going to show, and possibly teach her. Hailee listened as she explained the uses of the skills, and how to use it. There was only one hard part of the technique, and that was the part where she had to remain calm. She couldn't promise she would, and that might even prove to be really difficult in this type of situation. But it was probably the only way to defend herself, not like she was going to rely on others to pull through anyways.
Hailee accepted the instrument given to her from Kagerou, it seemed easy as she strung at the notes, emanating calming waves - sort of, she was still really nervous so it wasn't too calming but she got the gist of it. Pretty much, she was screaming like a little girl in her head. She didn't want to become anothers meal on the menu. That was out of the question. "Thank you! I-I will try my best. I wasn't really prepared for this, I thought we were all going to enjoy a dinner from Toso and be merrily. I had not expected this unexpectedness!" Hailee spoke disappointingly, though mostly agreeing with Toso's explanation. "Unless you can make one magically like Kagerou! - But I agree there too. We should probably keep moving or find somewhere safe, or were gonna get tracked down in larger numbers." She grinned for most of that, before agreeing that they should get moving, honestly she was highly nervous a ninja was going to come bashing through the walls looking to feast any second now. Amorette was definitely on edge too, staying close to the group, but keeping her hardest not to feel any desire to attack like most were. Learned
Below the bloodmoon there was chaos and confusion. All manner of nonsense had been going on already, but things were about to take a turn, absolutely. There was a sound like a piercing howl, and then the entire building vibrated, charged with electricity. Soon enough, there was the telling smell of ozone that preceded the two of them... and with resounding crash Jay was slammed through a wall into the very same room that the group had gathered into. He rolled to his feet, moving with the solid blow as Jeon barreled in after him in a spiral of danger and motion. Magni in hand, Jay swing the weapon down and an arc of electricity that met, overpowered, and carried the werewolf back outside. Around Jay, a black cloak had formed, and a single tail waved behind him. The tail slammed into the ground, coiling against it as the tentacle prepared a motion.
For the briefest of moments, his eyes saw Toso and his blooping self... Kagerou with her piercing crimson stare... that one inappropriately dressed little girl. He knew he wasn't safe there, and if he gave her time to do so, Jeon would certainly rally them. The tail released it's tension by springing Jay out the very same way he came as a second one produced itself. He hooked into the sealing to make him curve upwards and continued to tear up out of the building's roof. "Come on you damn heathen!" he taunted as the feral Jeon followed after him.

BASTETxxxxx The sudden racket caused by the scuffling pair of kages only served to narrow Shion's search for new prey. The young CORE nin dashed through the halls, zipping around corners and jumping up through flights of stairs in a blinding display of hurried purpose. In a matter of minutes, possibly even seconds, Shion was on the same floor as Toso and the grope group. Distant voices called out to the huntress like a siren's song, luring her ever closer to her prize. Lobbies become halls which became a single set of double doors, now the only things keeping her from those she sought after. Shion halted her approach for the briefest of moments as she readied herself for what was on the other side. The telltale mark of the Nibi, a shroud of blue flames, traced its way down the girl's cloaked arms as Bakuton chakra began to crackle and pop.
A large blast of blue flames and smoke would erupt from the door into the room that currently housed the three ninja, sending the door flying off its hinges. Silhouetted against the soft blue light of flames would stand Shion, though those familiar with her would not be able to tell. Her full-body cloak, frayed and tatters around the sleeves and ankles from ceaseless exposure to flames and explosives, and mask would both serve to conceal her identity; the only thing visible to the trio would be her eyes... one green, one blue, and both shining brightly in the dim light of the moon. Bakuton energies crackled around her hands once more as Shion slowly approached the trio, cautiously inspecting them for any signs of the feral curse.
Shion's head quickly darted to face the young girl, Hailee. Her face was flush, almost as though recently embarrassed. A human enough response, though a bit odd in a time like this. At least, that's what Shion would have thought had the next person she saw not been Toso; that certainly would explain the girl's response. Stifling the type of beleaguered sigh that usually presented itself when dealing with Toso, Shion moved on to examine the third member of their makeshift group. Kagerou was clearly in control of the situation, though Shion couldn't really tell how she knew. Instinct maybe? No way the child was and something about Toso's demeanor seemed off, especially for a six foot squid man. The flames around Shion's hands would briefly flare up, casting her in a pale blue light. "Are you still in control?" A simple question, but one who's answer carried gravity. Would Shion need to cut down three more comrades?
The proud smile of encouragement that Kagerou showed as Hailee finished learning the technique was cut short by the sudden interruption of the two kages just as Toso mentioned hunters coming for the heads. Kagerou's body rocketed up to block Hailee from the flying debris, one arm extended to the side while the other protected her eyes so that they could squint through the cloud of debris. Her body suffered nothing more than some scrapes and bruises from the flying parts of the buildings, but her kimono was unfortunately ruined.
Then, like the lightning their great fight expelled, the two were gone before Kagerou could say anything in response but not before she had glimpsed the few expressions that communicated between the two of them. The feral snarl that remained ever consistent on sister and the calculated thoughts that swiftly shifted the faces shown by the brother, from a glance of recognition to troubled expressions.
Despite having just crashed through multiple walls, the brother swung himself about to crash through possibly even more ceilings to get out. Seriously, taijutsu specialists were something, but that wasn't necessarily something Kagerou was unfamiliar with. While surprised, she had calmly assessed the other, more important aspects of the situation and its implications. Simply put.
Kagerou found herself too occupied for words in the aftermath of the kage's appearances. On one hand, she was trying to suppress the promises of relief were body promised if she would just fall to her base instincts in the same way Jeon had.
On the other hand, she took one look at her messed up clothes and, while acceptable in any other state, decided that she needed to hang onto every shred of human decency she could hold onto while she had the chance. In one sweep, she ripped off a hospital curtain and swung it around her body, concealing it as she swapped outfits using an item summoning seal on her person. When the curtain fell, she was wearing a fresh dress in the western style as opposed to the tattered kimono she had before. A ribbon that should have been clipped to her hair had instead tied itself around one of the horns she had grown as part of her transformation from human to werewolf.
Then, on a third hand, Kagerou tried to absorb and create a solution from the information she had just gained. "You're right, Toso. We should move, but give me a second to think..." Having to resist while formulate all of this information was putting a strain on her mind that she had yet to adapt to. . Just a little ago, Toso had asked if maybe Kagerou was expecting too much. He was right. Her strained mind found it even easier than usual to burden itself unnecessarily.
Then, while Kagerou tried to process everything before giving Toso an answer, there was yet another explosion. Explosion or no explosion. Seriously, the wall and ceiling were already blown. Did the door really need to be destroyed as well? Kageoru, with the same speed as she had protected Hailee with just previously, moved to protect Hailee again, now. She warily eyed the newcomer, an individual cloaked in blue power and wearing the mask of a CORE shinobi, with her bright eyes, perhaps a little too much like a cornered wolf than she would have like.
The blood on the clothes may have been burned off, but when Kagerou felt the weight of the question, she knew what this agent had been going through. He stance relaxed as her brows furrowed, lips pursed into a thin frown as she realized what must be going on throughout the village. Ninja preying on civilians and then the few ninjas still in control having to kill those who had turned feral. What a cursed event.
However, whatever she imagined couldn't be as bad as what it felt like to personally experience it. Sympathetically, Kagerou mustered a smile as she nodded. "Yes. We have control over ourselves. We won't burden you with the weight of our deaths." Maybe the deaths of strangers actually weren't a burden to this CORE shinobi, but she'd rather be safe than sorry.
She gave a more detailed report on their mental state. "There is an urge to hunt, but I'm able to resist it, and," a motion to the strange but ultimately relaxed shapes the now furry Toso's tentacles had taken. "I can calm Toso down with a pacifying genjutsu. I don't imagine he'd have any desire to break out of the enchantment, either." As she spoke, the smile she had initially mustered relaxed as she accepted this sudden meeting as a positive turn of events. It had, for one, helped several mental pieces fall into place. Furthermore, though you already may be aware," Kagerou was too accustomed to the CORE equivalents having uncanny amounts of knowledge, "The twin Arashikage's just passed through here. It appears that Lady Jeon has fallen to the curse while Lord Jay remains untouched. The two are currently in a deadlocked chase... and understandably, Lord Jay looked at us as if he feared we would turn on him." Kagerou left unsaid that she thought perhaps one who had retained their humanity, like this CORE ninja had, should perhaps go to assist him. tabPerhaps it was luck, or perhaps by fate, but this sort of circumstance occurred often whenever Toso was in the presence of collapsing debris or wild explosive escapades he always seemed to be standing in the ideal location to have narrowly evaded everything without moving. There was of course a fair sum of rubble surrounding him and a precarious looking piece that slid slowly down before land inches away from his foot and crumbling. He would readjust his glasses here but with all his limbs being tied up at the moment he'd have to resort to whipping his head back where they would then produce a signature glint. "If I'm being thoroughly honest, 'controlling' of this whole situation seems to be a far cry... blood." His response to Kagerou's otherwise reassurances in regards to if they were in control.
tabThere was something familiar about the core nin, though he couldn't rightly place his tentacle on it. At least not with the chaotic thought processes and situations that were occuring now. Even Toso's level headedness needed some time to catch up to current events. Though he personally found her presence a curios one his tentacles found her to be threatening. Awakening from their formerly bundled nap in recent events they ere grow..glurgled in an agitated manner one typical of canine feline associations. Though they were tame, had it not been for Kagerou's Genjutsu they would have undoubtedly pounced as it was in its abilities that they had reason to hold back. A brief moment of exhalation and inhalation then looking to the heterochromic operative he spoke. "I could swear you seem familiar, but there's little time for pleasantries blood." turning his head to Kagerou and Hailee once more. "Kage-nee's plan of action seems the most ideal. My tentathropes don't seem to be in particular favor of your motiff and it would do well to split the group into individuals that could calm the other or others to prevent needless bloodshed. Blood."
tabRecoiling one of his larger tentacles the rest followed as he brought the maw like thing towards his face. They rested on his shoulders while the other two remained a length in which seemed to be of its own will as it did not stay by his face for long to accent his thought processes. He'd then look down to see his two arms playing with one another as he needed to lift his legs every now and then to prevent becoming self entangled by them circling him. "Truth be told the lack of opposable digits is somewhat of an inconvenience. Blood. More over, it seems my control over my main limbs feels more akin to trying to tame a leashed dog. Blood. If they did suddenly lash out it would be best there's someone who can defend themselves competently. Blood."
tabHe'd then look up to Hailee in defense of what he said coming off as maybe a bit too blunt. "Ah, blood. No offense Hail-nee, you defended yourself quite well in our mock spar but I'm uncertain you'd be aptly prepared for things not even I'm certain of blood." The two tentacles seemed to have tuckered themselves out by this point and if by natural means withdrew their length to join their 'kin' on his shoulders. "More over. As Kage-nee pointed out. The kage's will likely be of no help in their current state blood... Suddenly what sounded like a rumbling through the room, a similar glurgle but it wasn't Toso's tentahounds this time around. "Blnnnn, even more more over, these occurrences happening right beforest a promised dinner blood. Is starting to have its adverse effects and while It's true I have no current intentions to break out of said earlier stated enchantment...I am uncertain if that will be an indefinite blood. As a Ryouri-nin an empty stomach has proven to be an overwhelming force all its own and my earlier peckishness has become something of a need that would best fulfilled sooner rather than later blood."
Toso then looked out the huge hole at the now clearly visible red moon through the roof. "Finally, this whole occurrence seems to be associated with the moon. I don't know why that is but when I looked upon it this whole mess with my body occurred." Perhaps Toso's odd transformation was in regards to the fact that he was also color blind. He did not refer to the moon as the red moon but rather the moon itself. "It would seem a course of action to prevent further straying glances at said moon would be first step. If this was some form of powerful genjutsu or ninjutsu using the moon as a conduit it speaks volumes about the possible threat bloop."

Things were getting stranger by the mere minute, Hailee nervously glancing around for any signs that may be driving shinobi into some sort of madness curse. But similar to everyone else's suggestions, the moon seemed to be the exact point it would come from. That was the sort of thing to reach everything beneath it, only thing that seemed to shield getting turned was staying away from the moon and its rays. If she were outside for any reason, she would be trying to kill others too. Through her thoughts, came a sudden crashing sound, as the wall exploded into pieces, followed by the two kages she had seen before back in the office while getting her headband. Kagerou moved to shield her from the flying chunks of the wall, blinking in the moment as it moved faster than she could barely acknowledge what was happening. And in another couple seconds, they were gone from sight. That was...awkward. "Ahh, thanks for that." She thanked the nurse, but how much money was that gonna cost in damages, it seemed like the entire hospital was being destroyed due to the turned shinobi attacking. Not the greatest place to be attacked either. Suddenly, the floor crashed out next, Hailee barely processing it was happening while Kagerou once again defended her from flying debris. A female shinobi popped out, questioning if they were in control. She was probably going around looking to take out the turned ones..or something similar to that.
"Dang, I feel for whomever has to pay for all these damages. It's mind blowing." Hailee said, more so talking to herself while Kagerou spoke to the newcomer. That and Toso seemed to recognize the girl. She glanced over at Toso towards his remark, though she could barely react to it with any pouts or anything, her thoughts were lost more in a cloud of worries. "Ahah, nah no worries. The unexpected is unexpectable, it's like a fifty fifty shot. To live or die!" Hailee laughed awkwardly finger pointing in the air, trying to lighten any worries. And to get her own mind off of this craziness at hand. Toso's suggestions on what seemed to be going on seemed like it could be true, so someone could be behind this all? The moon doesn't just suddenly turn shinobi into man eating wolverines like that! And using something like that on the MOON..who in there own crazy mind would do something like that?? It was insane! Some people just want to watch the world burn. Hailee wanted this all to just stop and go back to normal, it was tiring. How could she be great and powerful with something beyond her own power?? That was unacceptable.
BASTETxxxxx The squidlyman's comment gave Shion reason for concern on multiple fronts. First and foremost was the matter of her identity. Anonymity was a CORE ninja's greatest tool, and Toso had nearly identified her after a single sentence; worrying about her disguise would have to wait however. The way the man enunciated 'control' was what really got to her. She needed extra bodies to carry out her plan, but could he be trusted? Kagerou made mention that she could calm the man, so maybe that would be enough. Whatever the case, it would have to do; the village was in a pinch and in dire need of saving. "We've received reports of a mysterious figure appearing in the temple district. We have reason to believe this invader is behind the chaos in the village. Going off this intel, I'm gathering a team to confront them and... given our current predicament, you'll have to do." Would this team really be enough to save the village from the invader? A half-rabid squid, a ninja too busy keeping said squid not-rabid, a child, and a greenhorn CORE ninja... Better than nothing, I guess. "So, who's a bad enough dude to save the village?
Oh. In that case, things became much simpler. Kagerou gave a brief glance of concern at Hailee, but as neither guardian or even a friend of Hailee's, there wasn't much she could do to stop the clearly exuberant girl from running headfirst into certain death. "Just make sure to stay safe," Kagerou advised, a little out of the blue, before giving Bastet an answer.
"This makes things simple." With one sentence, all the of baggage that had been created by Kagerou's previous statements was addressed. "Of course we'll go to the temple districts. It's nice, for once, to have a solid culprit for these Halloween festivities" Her speech had grown casual, likely because she couldn't uphold the little things in her current state. Still, she moved with complete control. Calmly, steadily, and as always with a smile, Kagerou flashed a grin at Bastet before turning to approach Toso. Unbidden, she gave one of his tentacle puppers a scratch behind the ear. "I'm guessing that, unfortunately, this is all the information we have?" Kagerou asked, mostly rhetorically, because she didn't give enough time for an answer before continuing, "In that case, Toso and I will go ahead," as she beckoned the tentacle pupper with some scratching under the chin just like how she was beckoning Toso to pair up with her, "In case either of us lose control, this will be safest. We might also be able to blend in with the werewolf crowd."
Kagerou looked calm and collected even now. However, despite that appearance, after a short pause she added one extra word to her "suggestion."
"Please."
It was a request. A request made for the sake of Bastet and Hailee, but a request nonetheless. Not for one moment did Kagerou think herself unfallible, and the pressure of the red moon bore down strongly upon her. Rip. Tear. Her instincts called to the howls and chaos that filled the night air. She felt a calling to add her own music to the symphony she so detested. Though, she held strong against it. That much could be seen by the signals her body gave, or rather, the lack thereof. The only signs of feral nature Kagerou showed, whether she was with Bastet and Hailee or travelling with just Toso, were pupils narrowed to slits--though, that could just be because the hospital was quickly losing light--and how she would regularly but as imperceptibly as possible swallow the saliva that oozed over her dry throat and tongue, poor substitutes for the red liquid they truly desired.
Except, she wouldn't. She would never hurt anyone, and even as she and Toso dashed their way to the temple, she firmly kept herself under control. [3/6 Comfort Song]

Tezumari entered through the E.R. entrance. Tezumari examined the lobby. It seemed the hospital hadn't been too busy as the lobby was empty. Moving quietly, Tezumari made their way through a double set of doors into the back.
Immediately, Tezumari recognized the stench of blood and death permeating the room. They noticed a pool of dried blood from behind a curtain. Pushing it aside, kunai at the ready, they saw torn remains of a patient turned puppy chow. Gagging slightly, they shut the curtain. I need to find someone living. let's get some height.
Backing out into the lobby, they took a nearby stairwell upwards. They paused at each floor to listen for any potential threats. Opening the door to the roof, Tezumari stepped out. A brief glance showed it to be empty. Making their way to the edge they looked around. Tezumari caught a burst of movement, Two beings seemed to be rapidly heading towards the Monsoon Temples. Werewolves or not? Can't tell from this distance. Their heading to the temples pretty fast, purposefully. I can find out more if I follow them.
Tezumari took the steps back down quickly, judging the risk to be worth the extra time reduced. Tezumari sprinted through the lobby towards the exit. Once outside, they ran in the direction of the Monsoon Temples,

Well, it seemed the two veteran ninja were in this for the long haul; that only left the genin. Shion nodded to Toso and Kagerou as they left for the temple then turned her attention Hailee. "Well kiddo, you're choice. The hospital is mostly clear, so you should be safe if you decide to stay. We're going into a fight with no clear info and no game plan... no one will blame you if you sit this one out." Shion's cloak would give a quick flutter as she jumped to the newly formed exit that was the vaguely kage-sized hole in the wall. "That being said, should you join us... You'll be under my direct watch. You're choice... With this, she'd dash out into the night, following along with the other two. Hopefully her comment would come off as reassuring. There really was no telling with Shion; conveying emotions that werent pure bravado was not her strong suit. Of course she meant every word of it... the choice was now on the genin.
Hailee nodded in affirmation to Kagerou's staying safe concerns, of course she wasn't going to just run around arms open, come kill me now acting. "I can handle things, no problemo!" She spoke with utter confidence, though she didn't really know much of what was going on. So if anything, she was possibly winging it. Although the higher up girl seemed to have a little more information about the ordeal, saying there was a ninja behind this whole thing. Guess that was to be suspected, things like this just don't happen out of nowhere after all. It seems they were looking for enough ninja to form a team and secure the situation and help out, how many were able to help was a question? Hailee nodded with a grin at Toso's comment, of course if she learned one thing from training with him, you should always bail or back off when the going is only getting tougher. Than there was Kagerou, adding please to the air beyond the silenced air, slightly staring at her but than turning to Bastet quickly after. She took the higher ups words to heart, but she wasn't sure she could willingly sit this out, even if she wanted to. She grew up here, and if it ever came to it, she'd die to protect her hometown or go down with it. "I'll help. Protecting our home, it's what us as ninjas were meant to do, right?" Hailee grinned, nodded in acceptance to the terms of being watched. Weather that was meant to be understood as watching over, or making certain she wasn't a threat, it was all understandable as this probably was her duty, and she was only doing as she must. With Amorette on her shoulders, Hailee rushed out to the temples in which was calling out for any capable help. Exit to temples
The proud smile of encouragement that Kagerou showed as Hailee finished learning the technique was cut short by the sudden interruption of the two kages just as Toso mentioned hunters coming for the heads. Kagerou's body rocketed up to block Hailee from the flying debris, one arm extended to the side while the other protected her eyes so that they could squint through the cloud of debris. Her body suffered nothing more than some scrapes and bruises from the flying parts of the buildings, but her kimono was unfortunately ruined.
