Sammy folded her arms as best she could with her cast in the way and pouted at the reapers. "...ow. I don't have a problem with anything. I'm up for any challenge." She didn't show it in fear of proving their suspicions correct, but she appreciated the girl having her back like that. Mentally Sammy made a note to give her something on the house next time she came to the cafe. In the meantime she figured if they all stuck together at least they couldn't get the astrolabe before her...and if they did...well, at least she would know it and be able to rethink her plans from there. As she thought about it, something the girl said finally sunk in. "Wait, keep me?" she echoed curiously.

The werewolf smirks and pats Sammy's cheek, "Oh don't worry~! I'll make sure to love you, and hug you, and pet you, and squeeze you, and rename you George." She's only joking, of course. At least... The writer thinks she's joking. "But before that, we gotta find us an astro-whatever~! Lead on, vampire dude~!"

Scythes, Watermelon, and Flowing Breezes.
These are the things that bring me Joy. Xashowd nodded with a smile. " Good to know." He replied. Thanaphyr giggled at the exchange between Sammy and the werewolf. " Hehehehe, I understood that reference." He said with a wide grin. Seeing that all of them were in agreement, Xashowd looked over towards the Haunted House. He listened to the wind for a few moments, but it seemed the four were the only ones near it at the moment, so they were fine. He nodded in satisfaction and headed onward, with Thanaphyr floating beside him. It felt good to be progressing once more, and with Sammy and the Werewolf with them, their chances of finding the Astrolabe and returning it to the museum increased immensely. After a little while, they reached the Haunted House. From the exterior, it appeared to have three floors. Xashowd grimaced slightly, that would be a lot of room to cover, and it was likely it had a basement as well. " Hey Thanaphyr, what does it say about the House on that map of yours?" The Reapling floated over and grabbed the map out of Xashowd's bag, unrolling it once more. " Well...3 Floors and a basement-" Xashowd winced. " Each floor has a different theme. Ooooo...first floor is a maze. Funky. Second Floor is 'bugs bugs bugs', third floor is the Wax Museum...kinda creepy...and the basement is...is..." Thanaphyr squinted at the parchment. " I can't tell. It's either faded or scratched out." Xashowd looked towards their companions. " Well, what do you think? How should we go about our exploration?" He inquired. I am Xashowd, the Nocturne Zephyr!

River glanced over in the direction of the stuffed animal booths. Well...that didn't seem...too scary, and the stuffed animals were at least cute looking. Maybe she would even find one that wasn't too dirty that she could keep?
She nodded her head in agreement and was about to head in that direction when Falinn asked about a map. Shaking her head no, she glanced at Monster, wondering if perhaps he had one.
Just then, there was a very loud crash coming from elsewhere in the theme park. Her eyes going wide, she quickly ducked behind Falinn, only daring to peek out after the dust in the distance had settled. Seemed like something had fallen apart? Or was there something scary going on...
"P-p-please can we s-s-stay a-away from th-that p-p-place..?" She looked up at her friends with what could only be described as a 'puppy look'. Not that she was really aware of the fact she was giving one.

Sammy smiled awkwardly. "Well, anyone who quotes Bugs Bunny cartoons is okay in my book." she laughed. Turning and walking with the others her chin rose to look over the haunted house as they approached. She winced slightly to hear it creak menacingly as the wind struck it, but she hoped no one noticed. "Well...they've sure gone the extra mile to make it look creepy." she commented. She was relieved to hear that they knew what to expect on each level though. A maze, fake bugs...maybe even a few real ones tossed in from being closed down so long...wax figures and...a surprise in the basement. While that didn't sound too pleasant, it was probably best they search the creepiest place first and get it out of the way. "Well in the movies the group always splits up...but in the movies everyone dies sooo...probably should stick together." No she wasn't frightened in saying this, sadder yet she was actually trying to be logical about it. "Well since we have no choice but to enter the ground floor perhaps we should look in the basement next and work our way up..."

Ravena was heading towards the west side of the park now, and was just passing near the Haunted House when she heard the sounds of the roller coaster collapsing. She wasn't really expecting that, and it caught her off guard. With a quick gesture, she sends Rai off to assess the situation. He's back a moment later to make his report.
"My Lady, there were no serious injuries that I could see, though a couple of men were nearby when the coaster collapsed." Well, that was good news, at least. Casting around for any other clues, her eyes came to rest on the House of Mirrors some ways off. There seemed to be others around the Haunted House, and it looked like they had that area covered. That's not to say she wouldn't go check that area out later. After all, things could be missed, and she needed to be absolutely sure the astrolabe wasn't there.
"Hmm.. if I were a thief, where would I hide an extremely powerful celestial object?" It was a good question, though now that she was talking to herself, all those deductive skills she learned in "cop school" were beginning to kick in. She was so busy muttering to herself, she very nearly ran into a certain smokey figure in front of the house of mirrors.
"Oh! I'm sorry.. Toby? Hey, didn't think I'd see my bff in a place like this! What brings you here of all places?" They hung out so often, you'd think they would be the token platonic ship in a slice of life anime. Maybe he'd heard about the astrolabe as well? It couldn't hurt to ask. maybe he had some information about where it might be stashed. If nothing else, she was glad to see a familiar face in such a dilapidated and forlorn place.
((Please don't mind my silly dragon outfit. I was so happy yesterday when these new items came out, and I wanted to show appreciation to the person who gave them to me. u_u))

Upon reaching the House of Mirrors, Tobias saw why the sign had been so hard to read. It looked as if some of the letters had been knocked off. Rather dingy outlines were all that indicated what letters had once been in a few places.
He had been about to head in when he heard a loud crash. Ruby eyes flashed in the night as he turned toward the sound. There was a large cloud of dust rising up. Hold on, hadn't there been something over there before? His eyes narrowed as he continued to look in that direction and try to recall what had been there.
Being that he had never been here when the place was open, he'd only gotten a quick look at most of the place as he came to the House of Mirrors. At any rate, something had probably just become nearly, if not completely, inaccessible. Which then begged the question, was it done with purpose? Either way, it was more apparent now that others were here. With something like the astrolabe possibly stashed away here, chances were slim that whatever had crashed had done so purely from disuse and the breeze.
For now, Tobias returned his attention to the task at hand. He was about to head in when voices caught his attention. Seemed some people and uh well he wasn't sure what that other being was, but who was he to question, were heading toward the Haunted House.
The horned male was fairly certain he heard and recognized Sammy's voice, but just then he heard another familiar voice. This one was much closer, though he couldn't feel it as she nearly ran into him. His gaze settled on her and he smiled giving a small bow of his head.
"Hello, Rae-Rae my dear. This is an interesting coincidence, though really I am not surprised you came here. I am sure the same thing brought us to this place. However, my reasoning is for little more than curiosity. I wonder what the thing is capable of, yet I rather doubt I would have any use for it. Best for it to be back in a safe place, yes?"
Here he winked and looked back at the House of Mirrors.
"I thought I would have a look around here, shall we go together?"

Thanaphyr wanted to know her name as part of some mystery of his, but Xashowd just didn't want to end up calling her "Werewolf Lady" or some variation of it the whole time. Names were faster and less likely to get irritating to the recipient after a while. I am Xashowd, the Nocturne Zephyr!

Somehow, the eerie fairgrounds hadn't been even half as frightening before people began showing up. Orrin made himself as tiny as he could in that pile, which wasn't very easy, as he was quite big to begin with. Suddenly, a loud noise screeched through his poor ears. The man was just about to start crying, when he noticed his hand being held. And tightly so. Ow... Ow ow ow... But he didn't have heart to tell the poor lady that she was breaking him. For once, someone else seemed more scared than him... "I-i... I-i-it's f-fine...", he stuttered as he tried to gently pull his sore hand free.

Feeling Orrin tugging his hand, Minty realized she was probably causing more damage to him right now than any outside threat. Oops.
"Sorry..." She whispered sheepishly and let go of him, "What would you like to do now? Should we go and investigate or should we keep hiding and see if we can get out of here before someone notices us?"

The werewolf snickers again, slinging an around around Sammy's shoulders. Carefully, of course, she didn't want to aggravate the pink haired girls broken arm. "Only the stupid people die, and I think you're the only one out of us that wouldn't be the horror movie villain so we should be good~!" She is probably having too much fun with this situation, but she doesn't much care at the moment. She walks into the haunted house, dragging Sammy along with the arm still around her shoulders. She stops and rolls her eyes when she hears Xashowd call her miss. "Oh, fer... It's Genevieve, alright?" She wasn't particularly fond of her name and was scowling a little after saying it.

At this moment, was he only grateful that so far had no one died, and his hand was still attached to his body. Investigation though, sounded an awful lot like adventure, in his mind. And adventure was basicly the same word as danger, if one were to switch a few letters around. But hiding in a pile of soft things didn't feel so safe anymore... "M-ma-maybe... W-we can hide s-some-wh-wh-where else...?" Orrin took a moment to ponder over which place would be the safest, even though he had never really looked the place through yet. And if you don't know which place is safest, then perhaps you should go to that which seems the most pleasant? Orrin sure thought so, as he peeked between some stuffed teddies to check if the coast was clear. "Th-the c-co-cotton c-candy ma-ch-chine i-i-is... Is th-that way...", he claimed with a somewhat confident nod.
