Noah slipped back inside his window after watching the couple pass by before closing it re-appearing outside his house via the front door before he locked up and walked down towards the beach a small bag hanging across his body and a lit cigarette hanging from his lips as he walked blowing out the smoke which often swirled into shapes before drifting off into the sky leaving a faint smell of fresh wheat in his wake

Michael walked onto the streets of the district they lived in with Katherine riding on his shoulders. He made sure to lock the door, and check to see if it closed properly. It was a habit that he acquired as he grew up, and one that he saw as necessary in his opinion. After checking it, the two turned around and walked onto the sidewalk. "What are we gonna do?" Katherine questioned in curiosity, while leaning on his head a bit. Her father had mentioned much on where they were going if they were going anywhere in particular. He mentioned just enjoying the day, so she didn't really question him. "Hmmmm, wherever fate decides for us to go. Don't really have a plan at the moment." He mentioned with a slight shrug as he held onto his daughter's legs to keep her secure on his shoulders.

As they walked down the street, Michael noticed that a woman was standing outside a with a thoughtful expression on her face. This caused him to stop in curiosity because it seemed like she was looking for a house or something. "Excuse me, are you looking for a particular house? You seem.....lost or something like that?" The violet eyed male called out in a curious tone. Katherine's attention was directed at the woman as well, although she kept silent for the time being.

At the sound of another voice, Priya started. An audible squeak could be heard as she turned to see a man and a little one settled atop his shoulders. Her turquoise eyes shimmered greens and blues as she looked at the two of them with wide eyes. She stepped out into the sun, her hair catching the light, hues of purple, blues and greens swirling through her dark tresses. Like the sun hitting an oil spill.

Her voice was soft as she spoke shyly, "Oh... T-this is m-m-my house.. I just got lost in th-th-thought..."

Michael tilted his head a bit in confusion at her reaction. She must have been in pretty deep thought to react like that, but he didn't make a comment about it as she stepped into the sun. It wasn't unnatural or weird to be so deep in thought about something. He found it a bit interesting seeing the range of colors in her hair, considering you don't often see something unique like that. It was like the eye color of Katherine and his eyes in the man's opinion. They were more unique than normal colors. "Oh, alright I understand. Just wanted to make sure you weren't looking for a house in particular. I'm Michael and this is my daughter, Katherine. We live on this district as well." He greeted in a friendly manner as his daughter gave a shy wave herself.

The man wasn't sure if she was timid because of the position he found her in, or if she was naturally like that. Either way, he had experience dealing with timid people because of his daughter. "Well sorry to disturb you. We'll let you get back to what you were going to do. It was nice to meet you." Michael mentioned with a smile, before turning around to let the woman go about her business. He didn't know if she had somewhere to be or not, plus if she was shy he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable by accident. Katherine turned her head around as she recongized the shy look on the woman's face and gave a shy smile, while waving once again. The little girl gently tugged her father's hair before gesturing that she wanted him to put her down, causing the man to stop walking.

Priua gave them both a shy smile as she bowed, "My name is Priya Takazumi. It's n-nice to m-meet you..." She looked up to see the little one, Katherine was it?, waving. Her cheeks flush as she gave a shy wave back.

She, then did a curious thing, digging into her bag for something. She pulled out a small bag of the cookies she baked that morning, adorned with a cute pink bow. She offered them shyly to the child. Priya always had a soft spot for children.

Surprisingly, today had turned out to be quite beautiful. Gideon found it strange because he had been out on his balcony all night and well into the morning, yet hadn't taken the time to notice the beautiful skies. He walked out of his house and pulled his keys out of his pocket to lock the door, returning them to their rightful place. The bogeyman's headphones and iPhone were taken out as he turned abruptly to begin strolling down the sidewalk, scrolling through possible music options.

He'd been awake all night...something peppy? The sangria haired male wasn't sure if he even wanted Spanish. He continued searching through the massive list before sighing and just putting it on shuffle, chortling at the first song that decided to come on. 2Pac's 'Dear Mama.' An emotional tune to start off the day? How wonderful. Suddenly he was reminded that his mother's birthday was coming up soon. Fate put it's hand into his life once more. Looks like he needed to try harder to forget about it this year.

His phone was tucked into his pocket, hands in a similar place. Shades were put on and perfectly quaffed strands of hair were tucked behind a single ear. In the end, he hadn't gotten to swim. That was fine. It meant Gideon didn't have to wash his hair or re-do his customary braid. As the bogeyman walked, he noticed a group talking among themselves. There seemed to be a kid there, too. He kept a pleasant smile, as always. Children were always a hit-or-miss, but he didn't plan on staying near them long enough to find out. Within their vicinity, Gideon stopped for yet another moment to prop his foot up on a nearby bench to adjust his Lendini laces. He had plenty of time to get to work. It was technically a holiday, so The Captain's Deck was expecting customers. Everyone was probably so tired from last night's meeting that no one would care if he did end up a little late. Latinos weren't much for punctuality, either.

The father/daughter duo turned around hearing someone walk up from behind only to see that it was the woman they were interacting with not even a few minutes ago. Katherine was surprised to see her offering a small bag of cookies, and turned to her father for his permission. The man gave a small nod, causing her to smile as she looked back at Priya. Her hands took the bag, and held it against her own body. "Thank you." She softly commented. Michael was about to thank her as well when he noticed the woman's attention was redirected somewhere else.

His eyes followed her gaze, and saw a man smiling at them. Michael gave a slight nod of acknowledgment before looking back at Priya. "Thank you for the gift, Priya. We better get going. I still need to take care of a few errands, before doing anything fun with this little one. Maybe we'll see you around sometime? Maybe we'll do something as our show of thanks for giving her those cookies." He mentioned as he grabbed Katherine's free hand. "Be safe and see you around next time." The man stated before turning around. Katherine turned her head to look at Priya once again, but with a warm smile instead of a shy one, before looking forward to continue walking.

By the time Gideon had finished tying his shoe perfectly, a new song had come on and Priya's friend had made his way off. In fact, Gideon turned his attention back to where he assumed the group would be and blinked in surprise upon realizing the only person left the black haired woman he had spotted earlier. Perhaps instead of friends, they were instead strangers? Or maybe Gideon lost track of time yet again and didn't hear them saying their friendly goodbyes.

In any case, he didn't let himself worry about it too much, and was ready to head to work. Only this woman was eerily giving him the eye. As in, outwardly making it noticeable that she was looking at him. Maybe she'd seen him around before. That would explain her curiosity. "Ah - Good morning." Gideon greeted in a friendly tone, nodding his head and he walked past her, not really expecting to be stopped or for conversation to be engaged.

She blushed a deep color as she looked down at her feet. The wind picked up, blowing her fresh strawberries and jasmine scent into the air. At his greeting, she bows, her voice soft but clear, "G-Good M-morning..."

Priya had no idea what to do. She had no clue where to start either. Maybe her neighbor would know where this island was and how to get there. "M-m-my n-name is P-Priya... I think we are n-neighbors..." Man, way to go Priya! Getting out there and talking to people!

Gideon certainly hadn't expected a stutter, let alone an introduction that included the word 'neighbor'. He stopped and blinked in surprise, taking in the building she was practically standing in the walkway of. It was right next to his house. They were more than neighbors. They were next door neighbors. Gideon mentally laughed and bit his lip, wondering if she had smelled/noticed him up on the balcony smoking all night and staring into nothingness. Didn't they say first impressions matter most?

Gideon just decided to operate under the assumption that this was the first meeting and first impression. If she didn't notice his smoking, she would surely eventually notice the mountain of cigarette butts. That is, if she couldn't smell them already. "You have a lovely name, Priya. It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Gideon Villalobos." His surname was pronounced in a perfect Spanish accent, as always. "Might I ask what brings you out on this particularly beautiful day?" He stuck a hand out in proper greeting. She wasn't bad looking at all.

The way the light hit her hair made it seem as if the wispy locks were pools of shimmering prisms reflecting colors from every direction. The sangria haired man found that he quite liked it. She also had these intriguing eyes that were a mix of green and blue, clear and expressive. It all seemed to fit in with her personality and figure very well. He thought the shy stutter was awful cute, and wondered faintly if the speech impediment was only brought about in certain instances or if it was permanent.

When he asked the question of what brought her out, along with a hand in greeting, she assumed and offered her own. "Oh.. Well... I wanted t-to explore the island... but.." She flushed in embarrassment, "..I don't know how to get there.."
