A sly grin spread soundlessly across her face, visible for only a moment, when she turned like a pitcher and seemed to pull something very large out of seemingly no where - a huge electric yo-yo. Her smile widened ecstatically as she tossed it forward with flourish, causing the electric string to wrap around him over and over until it couldn't go any more. Volt bit her tongue mischievously and gave a yank, spinning him out like a top. Thankfully the charge in its string stayed contained and he was spared any shock. "Tah-dahh!!" she exclaimed musically to punctuate the presentation. Of course, just showing him the item would have sufficed... OOC: No...it's not... XD

When Xashowd noticed her quick smile, he got the feeling he was in for a surprise. It was not a good feeling. She wound up like a pitcher on the plate, flung out a massive black and blue Yo-yo, and twined it around him. What the hell!? He thought, expecting a massive jolt of electricity from the string, but oddly enough the voltage was contained within the string. Still, the proximity of that current made him very uneasy. And that uneasy feeling was gone in a second as she yanked on the yo-yo, sending him spinning around the room like a ballerina on steroids. Now this he could handle. Between his fighting style with his Scythe and his Wind Magic, he'd spun around a lot, and getting his bearings was easy. He proceeded to spin around Volt rapidly, making a small circle of wind at her feet. From there he spun outward, making a spiral design from the circle that extended a few meters. Once he was done, he slowed a bit then reversed direction, bringing him to a halt. " Ta-Daa!" Xashowd exclaimed as he bowed, not the slightest bit dizzy. " As far as weapons go, I can say that your Yo-yo is a pretty cool one." He told Volt. " I wonder if there's a Wind variety out there..."

To her surprise, Xashowd managed to work with the momentum and compose himself much faster than she anticipated. Volt held her yo-yo under her arm and clapped at the grand finish. "And he sticks the landing! Nice recovery." She applauded, smiling in amusement. "I'm not sure...but if they do, I haven't seen one." She unfurled the toy again and, despite its awkward size, dipped it down and pulled it up in an effortless rhythmic motion.

Psh. Invisibility is a great date hunting technique! They won't know you're there until you pounce! Next think they know, they're arriving at prom with the lovely cloud princess on their arm.
-might be a little confused about how dating works-
Well, let's start with physical stuff then! That's usually pretty easy, right? We all know what we like looking at. What is your ideal eye color for a date?

" Haha, thanks!" Xashowd replied. " I use momentum a lot in battle, so that kind of thing comes naturally to me." He walked over to where she was playing with the Yo-yo. " I gotta say, that was a lot of fun! I thought I was gonna be fried for a moment there, but everything worked out nicely." He told her with a big grin on his face. He'd have to remember to look for Wind Elemental Yo-yos. He liked unconventional weapons, and after seeing what Volt could do with hers, he was curious to see what he could do with one. " I bet that could be a big hit at the Prom."

Volt smiled innocently...a little...too innocently... "Oh, it could've shocked ya, but I have the safety on." =w=
Yeah...not all that reassuring.
She looked up at the sky at an angle, staring off and trying to imagine the sort of hijinks that might ensue were the toy to be called upon sometime during the event. "Big hit is right, and likely in more ways than one!"

She shakes her head, "Nope, not me. But Silly-enda is going as a kitty! Said something about lookin' for an owl to go with..." She furrows her brow as she tries to ponder what it could mean.

"Well, owls are the perfect catch...I suppose." Volt scratched the side of her head with the crayon she was holding, wondering much the same herself. "Aw well, what's a dance without a few surprises? I guess we'll just have to see closer to the date."

Xashowd laughed halfheartedly at that. Good thing she had the safety on. If all that electricity flowed into me, I might've been blacked out for a week! Or worse... Volt was definitely the mischievous type. He'd have to be careful. Still, she seemed like she preferred having fun, so Xashowd didn't think he'd have to worry too much. And more than that, Volt was genuinely nice. She reminded him of a woman he knew long ago, though Xashowd quickly derailed that train of thought. No need to dwell on the past. " Well, You've told me a lot about yourself...is there anything you want to ask me?" He inquired.

The yo-yo bounced back up and Volt caught it under her arm. That certainly was a thought-provoking remark. She looked up at the sky, features soft, giving it long, due consideration... "Well, as a matter of fact...there has been something bothering me...I'd like to know..." She whipped her head toward him with a inexplicably sinister smirk. "What's your most embarrassing moment?!" OOC: So cutthroat! x.X

Though, I guess it really wouldn't make a difference if he kept after it every day...so help me if I see any roots showing through..." She shook a fist as her mind wandered off, resembling something of an old crank yelling for those punk kids to stay off her lawn. Suddenly catching herself lost in thought, Volt snapped herself out of it and laughed. OOC: And if all else fails, contact lenses! emotion_awesome
