Namine had fallen asleep. She had a worried look on her face, expecting the worst.

Yogtz floated into the room. He noticed Lawrence was nervously bouncing his leg up and down. " Are you alright?" he floated over and placed a hand on Lawrence's shoulder. "he will be fine. There is nothing to fear." Lawrence brushed the hand away. "I should be glad I took part in it but I'm starting to question my skills. I'm just so stressed. My heartbeat is irregular, I'm sweating like mad, I can't concentrate." yogtz told Lawrence to calm down.
" You're feeling emotions you're not used to. Worry, regret, doubt, all are natural parts of a traumatic event such as this. Come on kupo, let's go find something to do. We could use the training dummies."
"I don't want anything associated with violence now."
"hmmm as long as he is out we might as well keep his games warm."
"really man!? Using the PS2 of our unconscious best friend while he is in the same room." he let out a heavy sigh." I guess we can. He wouldn't want to see us bored and worried about him." Lawrence plugged in the PS2 and yogtz and him began to play a game.

" man she has some crazy dreams." Lawrence said
"makes life more fun" yogtz replied
"you saw that coming didn't you"
"you're becoming predictable and that why I just beat you." Lawrence had one the game they were playing.
"wow I'm really rusty. I haven't played in a long time. I wonder what movies he brought here?" Lawrence searched through Eric's DVD collection.
"ah here we go." Lawrence and yogtz sat down and watched the movie.

Lawrence had fallen asleep during the movie. Yogtz had floated over to Eric and checked his medicine levels. While doing this he noticed Eric's ankle was pointed the opposite way. How did we miss that? I must grab a wheelchair. he thought as he floated towards the infirmary.

Namine yawned and rolled over.

Peppermint laid near Namine.

Peppermint walked to Lawrence and watched him make those. He sniffed his legs, inspecting him.

Namine secretly woke up during the night and used the sleeping agent on herself. A small bottle was on the floor as she slept.

yogtz floated into the room to the smell of cooking meat. "ah you're making breakfast I see. I'll check the fridge for something more "moogle appropriate"" he looked around in the fridge.
"there's no such thing as moogle food man. you guys eat the same as us."
"you got anything lighter than greasy meat? my stomach is feeling a little off."
"ummmmmm toast perhaps? Do moogles eat butter?"
"we prefer jam." he fished a pickle out of the jar in the fridge.
"OK the bread is in the cabinet next to you. so what happened at the infirmary? is everyone ok?"
"i prefer not to talk about it now." he put some bread in the toaster.
"alright man. just tell me whenever." lawrence placed the patties on a cooling rack.these things are a bit greasy i guess he thought.

yogtz ate the toast and heard a small clink coming from namine's bedside. He found a small vial on the floor. "o mog! lawrence i believe we have some trouble here. she took the sleeping agent that would knock her out for 2 days at least. Eric as of now could be up by tomorrow."
"why would she do that? was she really that worried for him?" lawrence examined the bottle. "empty. almost seems like a book i read once. except the man took the poison before the woman woke up. o the bloody irony."
"that's not really the word you're looking for."
"this is no time for a grammar lesson. we need a waking agent."
"no such thing exists. humans always want sleep and not the opposite despite the fact they usually need the latter more than the sleep."
"enough philosophy yogtz. looks like we wait now."
Eric was dreaming still. He had stayed at an inn where namine worked. yogtz had learned how to turn wood into gold and lawrence had been a messenger between eric and namine when he left off on missions. Eric was leaving the town now towards the horizon.
