"Go home! I don't want anything to do with you." she said said a little louder. Scarlet started to feel overwhelmed in anger, sadness and irratation. "Please just go. What do you want?" she asked.

Verde motioned for her to take the bracelet back. Sighing, he realized this wasn't working. He unhitched the bracelet, then grabbed her arm to force the bracelet back on.

Scarlet pulled away. "Stop it!" she screamed. She took the bracelet and threw it on the floor. "GO AWAY KID!!! GO HOME!!!" she screamed at him. She got up and went downstairs and then out to her car. She got in and locked herself in it. She wanted to cry. Why wouldn't he go home? Her whole body ached at the stress. Why was he messing with her like this?

"Stupid girl... Is she trying to cause a scene?" said Verde irritably after she had run off. He put the bracelet on her bed, then walked off to return to his room.

Scarlet stayed in her car most of the night. She finally got out and went up to her room. She saw the bracelet. She picked it up and threw it in the trash. She then went to bed.

Verde awoke the next day, then went down to the main hall to see where he was assigned today.

Scarlet laid in bed. She sighed and looked in bed. Downstairs everyone was eating breakfast downstairs.

Verde had been assigned to take out the garbage from all around the house. Sighing, he started to do his job from the basement, slowly working his way up.

Scarlet sat up in bed and watched tv. She didn't have anything to do. The company hadn't called her and most of her friends were suffering from hangovers.

When he took the trash bag from Scarlet's room, Verde saw the bracelet. Irritated, he took it out and put it on her dresser. He then left the room.

Scarlet ignored him. She got up and got dressed. She then went downstairs. She pulled out a bagel and put it in the toaster and waited.

At last he finished. He was sent back to his room, where he was told to stay. "That girl will put on the bracelet again soon." he muttered, lying down on his bed.

Scarlet got her bagel and ate it. When she was finished she went to her room and sat at her desk. She turned on her computer and looked up recent dissapearings. When she found Varde she printed out his information. She took the papers over to her bed and read through his profile.

Verde thought about the village. His family was probably missing his sorely, so would his friends. He, too, missed them greatly, but none so much as the girl he had been engaged to before being captured.

Scarlet finished reading his profile. She sighed and got up. She changed out of her at home clothes and into a pair of jeans, a t-shirt and converse. She grabbed her jacket and the bracelet and walked into Verde's room. "Let's go." she said firmly. She was taking him home whether he liked it or not. She had never realized how wrong this slive buying was until he came along.
