------------------------------------- the demon was thrown off guard by inuyashas transformation. he dodged what he could and looked and saw arisa and miroku come back to the battlefield. a giant smirk appeared on his face.
arisa looked and stopped when she saw inuyasha. " what? what happened to him?" she trembled because of the power she felt from inuyasha. miroku clenched his fists. " this isnt good." before he could say anything else the demon turned his hand into black goo and attacked miroku and arisa. arisa paniced but miroku stepped in front of her trying to counter the demon with some sort of priest magic but it didnt work for long. the goo wrapped around miroku and pulled him close. " MIROKU!!!!!" arisa yelled.
the demon then used miroku as a human shield against inuyashas attack. arisa paniced. she ran in front of inuyasha and transformed into an exact copy of him and held his claws back. " INUYASHA STOP YOU"LL KILL MIROKU!!!!" she yelled. not sure if she got through to him. the demon looked around and miroku tried to get free then he noticed something strange, that and that his staff had been swallowed up. ----------------------------------------- ((ooc: ))

Inuyasha smirked in his demon form, and for some reason, his eyes flashed as he did, and he jumped over Arisa into the Goo. HE then had clawed at the demon, but in a way in his fury he had cut the section which had been holding Miroku captive, free. He then kept slashing at the demon, waiting for the moment, when the demon would try and use a blast of some sort. He jumped out, and motioned slightly for the other two to run. "Go...Now!" he yelled strained. His demon blood was wanting him to go after them, "Just go, I can hold him....GO!"

------------------------------------- Arisa pulled miroku out of the way and then joined the others. they watched the fight and arisa got a bad feeling.
the demon was forced back by inuyashas attacks and he fought back with his full force. he got to the point were he pulled back and started to vanish. "you win this battle half breed but this is not the end....not even close!" he hissed and completly vanished. ----------------------------------------- ((ooc: sorry really short today...... stare .okay is anyone else getting annoyed with the cat thing going on around her or is it just me.........this better go away soon stressed im not liking it one bit))

Inuyasha chuckled, "Run COWARD!" he yelled at the demon which was now gone. He then fell to the ground out of pure tiredness, and before he had gotten back up, he was back to normal. He was chuckling still."Got him good that time." he said before yawning.

------------------------------------- arisa stood awstruck and tired herself from assuming that form of inuyasha. she became normal again and fell to her knees. " i've never seen that much power suddenly appear like that....."miroku looked at her. "are you alright arisa?" "yeah im fine...just a little tired. he didnt affect me this time...." she smiled.
she looked at inuyasha and smiled at him. she was glad he was back to normal that form he was in scared her especially when miroku was involved. she looked where the demon used to be and sighed.
" he will be back....... but those ingeries may buy us time." she addmitted.
" time for what?"
"time to figure out how to get rid of him for good."
then her father ran over.
"arisa"
"what is it dad?"
"the elder said he may have figured out why this demon is really attacking us. he said he found its origin."
"what!!!! are you serious. if this is true we can distroy him at its source.......what is it?"
"he said it was the sacred tree of ease!"
arisas eyes got wide and she didnt say anything else. ----------------------------------------- ((ooc: thatas good to hear its begining to get on my nerves lol))

 ~.~ Rin ~.~ —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— Being much older than she was a few years ago. The sixteen year old girl stood upon a hill with Ahun looking about. Sighing quietly she spared a glance to the beast her dark mohogony eyes filled with interest. "Ahun.. Do you, know where Lord Sesshomaru went off to..?"Asked her voice curiously seeing the two heads look to eachother. Blinking she leaned forward her hands upon her hips. She looked as if she were instigating the two. But they merely shook their heads before she sighed. Leaning back she looked up to the sky before shaking her head. Watching Ahuh lay down she looked to them a bit. She then moved over and sat down next to them. She began to hum a little before she began to sing idly. "In the moutains.. In the breeze.. In the forest.. In my dreams.. Lord Sesshomaru where are you? Jaken is serving under you too! I will wait for you.. On my own.. Please return to me.. Waiting all alone.."Sang out her voice gently as she looked about the small clearing he had left her in. Any minute know Jaken would surely be on his way back from looking for Lord Sesshormaru. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— ((EDITTED!! ))

T h e S e r v a n t  Walking through shrubs, the short little demon of servitude emerged from the surrounding forest from the clearing. Grumbling under his breath about always having to search for Lord Sesshomaru. He then blinked a bit hearing Rins' singing. Walking over he almost looked to her with an annoyed look upon his face."Quiet! You incompent girl!"Ordered his voice as he rubbed his temples idly yet stressfully. He had enough to worry about with Rin, but with the lord he was constantly stressed out.

Staying at a village she had become a towns demon hunter after Naraku was supposibly defeated. She hadn't seen her brother Kohaku since the last fight. But it didn't matter now, since she had a life. Walking forward in the town she was greeted by others as Kirara followed her quietly. Nodding her head she found herself sitting upon a hill looking out at the valley in front of her."I wonder what everyones doing now.. Kirara.."Murmured her voice quietly before she sighed deeply. Looking up to the sky she layed back on the grass watching clouds pass over head.

A figure walked down a forest path alone as she looked forward. Since Naraku dying it had been an easy life for the traveling priestess. Looking up as a sparrow sang a song before flying off her lips parted allowing a sigh to escape. Moving forward she felt a stinging pain in her chest before she knew she needed to rest. Her shinidamachu began to appear to fly off to capture souls. She hadn't used them in a while, but her dead body needed it. Without souls, she could not survive.

Inuyasha slowly got to his feet again, and walked over there, but still kept his distance because he could smell fear in the air, and he didn't want to cause anymore of it. He stood there listening. "So what does this mean?"[/b[ he asked softer than usual.

Passing over Inuyasha and the others her shinidamachu could be seen gripping souls. They flew over head before disappearing into the forest near there. Sitting alone she rested against a tree wondering if she should just allow herself to die. Kaedae didn't even accept her being. Though she was nothing but an empty shell of what had been. Her body was cold and lifeless. Sighing deeply she watched her shinidamachu return before they placed the souls into her chest. Watching them fly off once more she closed her eyes feeling a bit better. Though she knew she needed more souls to walk to the next town. "How cruel.. Life can be.."Mused her voice as she sat alone her bow and arrows leaning against the side of the tree near her.

"that means in order to distroy him we have to kill our sacred tree...." she looked away out the window to the forest and we saw a large tree root comming from it. "this entire forest is connected to the tree of ease.... once it dies the rest of the forsest does to and even some of us may die with it as well.""miroku looked at her confused. "what do you mean by that?"Arisa sighed. " that tree holds someof our souls down to earth...it keeps up alive. our village worships the tree and we would ask it to heal ingeries and take away suffering and it always did...until the demon came...i guess thats why its begun to wear off." miroku looked at her in confusion. " im one of the ones whos life depends on that tree." she laughed.
"then isnt there away to kill him without killing the tree." "sadly no...if hes possessed that tree then that would mean its already begun to die...." arisas fathe stated.

Inuyasha looked at them, "What do you mean her life is tied to the tree? Then we can't destroy the tree." Inuyasha said simply. He wasn't about to try and do nothing, he then looked up and saw the soul gatherers. His ears perked up. "I have a idea." he said as he darted off following the soul gatherers. He knew who they were gathering for, it had to be her, and if it was, he had to ask her if there was any hope about this demon. He sprinted, even though his energy was almost completely out by now, and he kept going until he reached a clearing, where he saw a familiar looking woman, "Kikyou." he said in a soft voice.

Blinking as she heard a rustle she peered up from the ground. Spotting Inuyasha she had been expecting a demon to be coming to kill her. Though instead she saw her old love. Looking to him for a moment she then looked away. "Hello, Inuyasha..."Murmured her voice quietly as her shinidamachu returned leaving the souls in her chest. Feeling her strength she stood up idly before sighing quietly. Looking to him with curious but blank eyes she then glanced away. Her shinidamachu hesitated on whether their mistress needed more souls but disappeared figuring she didn't. Walking forward she sighed quietly before stopping by him.

Inuyasha looked at the woman in front of him, no not woman, but a soul-less vessel. "I need to know about something, about the Tree of Ease. There is a young girl who's life is being drained because of a demon, and the tree is her tie to the Earth, is there anything that can be done?" he asked Kikyou, not getting close to her.
