(( Kusugari...Two things. One, if Destral traveled from Castle Town to the forest after the boulder hit, he would have been stopped by Eidolon at the entrance to the forest. Secondly, if he was already in the forest when the boulder hit, he would have no way of knowing. Edit your post. ))

-Knight of Hyrule, Scout, Part-time MageHyrule Castle:Throne Room Sooo...Varten frowned as it seemed to one wanted to investigate what was going on. Maybe he should just go himself? This wouldn/t be the first time he went off on his own. He figured to stick around some more, and hope no one noticed the extra guard in the room. If not ging new came up, he'd leave right away. He wanted some answers....is this going to be worth my time soon?

The King's face seemed uneasy as three people had suddenly popped into the throne room, one of them being his daughter, the other being Lieutenant Inizio, and the last being Eva, Shadow Sage Sucsessor -You think with all these gaurds I would have control on who comes in and out of the room.- he thought becoming slightly annoyed. "Perhaps you should tell us all who this scoundrel is!" Link said projecting his voice to inturrupt their conversation. "Not only is he targeting my daughter, Princess Meiko, but this person has defiled the fountain of Castle Town and put the people in danger. Please don't withold any information pertaining to the matter. There are other things I must attend to."

(I was a little annoyed by it too...)  Λyame ℈va ☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵ Eva noticed everyone staring at her now, even though she was still hidden in Meiko's shadow. Usually when she stepped into the shadows, she was invisible, no one could see her. Was her power getting weaker. She moved out of Meiko's shadow, seeing the unsettling uneasiness on his face. It didn't settle down her nerves, turning her stomach into knots. She just remembered what Impa taught her, to be polite.
"He's the sage of the forest your grace, or so... that's what people say, he's not really evil, but when he wants something he will get it, in this case, your daughters triforce. It's the triforce of wisdom, and that's what he wants, is wisdom. Not to rule to world, just an infinite knowledge of wisdom."
Eva felt her voice strong, the only time you could tell the girl was unsure about her information, or she was lying, was when it went small and squeaky, but her stomach knotted into more knots, making her dizzy. -Knight of Hyrule, Scout, Part-time MageHyrule Castle:Throne Room Sooo...Varten, being a soldier and used to reading body language, even the slightest in such, could tell the girl was nervous. Maybe she was just a bit intimidated by the king? He wouldn't be surprised Varten didn't even know that she was even here....wait, that could mean the king knew he was here too! So much for being the quiet and stealthy Wolfhound his comrades had also nicknamed him. But the forest sage? Why would he use a manner that in most cases was a delaration of war? Couldn't he just send a postcard or something? Seriously......is this going to be worth my time soon?

-Your grace. All of these troublesome titles.- he thought trying to focus on what she was talking about. His childhood was spent among other children who were all equal to each other. From there he became the savior of Hyrule and a hero to all, and then ofcourse the King of Hyrule. He had been the king for more than 20 years and still he was not used to the everyday life of the King. He longed to go back to his childhood ways, but there was no time for that. The people of Hyrule needed help and Link would always be there to heed the call of duty. "Power is like an addictive drug. There is no such thing as wanting only a little bit of power. Absolute power rules absolutley." he preached as he began to think about the days when Ganondorf ruled.
"And who might you be? I'm not going to take information from just anybody and say its creditable. Its hard to believe a random person who comes with to with a little bit of gossip. My advisers recieve gossip like this every other day. You must establish your credibility before I begin to belive your claims."

"Apologize deeply for being so rude... My name is Eva, Ayame. I am Impa's apprentice and her successor as Shadow Sage. Of course, I can't prove I'm her apprentice. So I sent her a note..." She lifted her head when she heard the swooping down and landed on Eva's shoulder, a note clamped in his beak, it was sealed with the Sheikah seal. She thanked him and read it outloud.
"Your Royal Highness, Link
I have heard the troubles of Hyrule, I know of your pains, and you don't wish to cause another uproar with bombarding you with idea's and things you should do, so I shall be returning from my negotiations with Nabooru in the west in the desert. While I am returning, Eva Ayame, my apprentice, and successor to be Shadow Sage, promises to protect your daughter with her life, as any Sheikah would do
Of course, her concern is meeting with you and of course, proving what she says it true. Don't be, too hard on her, she's not the best socializer, but she is quiet the warrior, your daughter will be in good hands.

The End...?Castle Town:Marketplace Destral looked around the hustle and bustle of Castle Town in his human form, glancing around. His gaze brought him to a boulder he knew to be the source of the big crash he heard a little while ago. It appeared something was written on it....
He drew closer as he squinted slightly, trying to remember how to read hylian text... damn it was so hard to distinguish each squiggly line from the next! At least give a bit of space or something!
A cold smile spread across his lips as he finished reading the text.
So the rumours are true...civil war just might break out...Pefect.
He turned around slowly and headed for the exit of Castle Town. Maybe he could bring in more tension from the other races...?...It draws near.

Link asked as a gaurd walked over to Eva taking her note and bringing it to the king. -That is certainly Impa's signature.- he thought as he handed it back to the gaurd how returned it to Eva. "That is Impa's handwriting so I'll believe her when she says your her sucsessor. Its nice to meet you, although I don't recall neither I or Zelda assigning a bodygaurd to my daughter." he said to her responding to Impa's letter. "I've never met this person who's sending these threats. How do you suggest we deal with him since you know so much about him?"

King Link shot a glare off in Lieutenant Inizio's direction hearing his words. They were so rash, and really it was just stupid if Link were to actually do such a thing. "Do you realize we are this close to being at war?" he said making the gesutre with his fingers. "We do not have the technology, nor the manpower to take on the world, nor will I ever seek to gain such power." he said trying to establish his position in the upcoming war. "Any rash suggestions such as that, dispose of because I won't even consider it!"

Eva's knots suddenly all undid at once when Link said he believed her, his clam voice starting to unfold, making Eva feel much better than she was before, She placed her hair back up in a spiked ponytail and the cloth over her mouth, telling the hawk to go hunting, for he did his job well.
"I do believe it's a Sheikah's duty to watch over a endangered member of the Royal Family. I'm sure Zelda and Impa could tell you plenty of that. With all respect your highness... I am doing my job and I keep my word.
As for Eidolon, he's patient, when he say's he'll wait for three days, he will... I suggest we negotiate with him rather than sending arms or burning down the forest! How dare you suggest that, there are hundreds of innocent creatures in that forest besides him or the Korkori... I know, I spent a week inside of it... "
The Sheikah looked threateningly over at Varten with deadly eyes, she was ready to kill him on sight if he wasn't the kings knight, and also if he wasn't an mortal. She just calmed herself and returned her sight back to Link.

-Knight of Hyrule, Scout, Part-time MageHyrule Castle:Throne Room Sooo...Varten stepped back with his head down almost immediantly. He looked up to see the Sheikah staring daggers at him. Most people would be afraid, but Varten was a Hylian knight, he wasn't afraid. But that didn't mean he didn't get very, very nervous and wonder if his life was likely to end soon. He guessed they should just try to send a small party to deliver the message, so long as no one screwed up like he just did.
"Umm...H-how about we just send a few soldiers to give him a message that we'll negotiate...we'll listen if he takes back his threat?"
He hoped that would get him a little credit to his intelligence....is this going to be worth my time soon?
