Will chuckled as Noel shook her head at him. It was boring, but he did get the work done at some point or convinced someone else to do it for him. “Wearing anything special for graduation besides that stiff uniform?” There was a small pouch in the blonde’s jacket, and the not-so-Japanese looking government official-in-training grinned. “Let me train with you today.”

Will just smiled when Noel mentioned the emperor. “Maybe that dream will come true one day.” The smile stayed on his face when she expressed concerns about taxes. ”Oh, who knows? He might as well as decided he needed more money to live his rich life.” There was some sarcasm dripping from it. Will didn’t know why the taxes were increased, and it was something that had been discussed in class as necessary for government programs.

Will grinned. He wondered what this new dress would look like, and he found himself looking forward to it. The gift he had for her that he would give her later would match well. He himself would be stuck in some official Japanese robe type. At least it made it that much easier to hide things in the folds of the robe since it wasn’t very tight fitting, and the robe’s length covered his feet. If they had to hold a fan, he’d really just use it to smack everyone around him or make a mockery of the ceremony by pretending to act like a girl.

For some particular reason, the blonde twenty year old liked Noel more than the other girls that he had previously dated and dumped once he bored of them. With Noel, he didn’t think he’d have any problems with psycho girls raising armies against him or crying to their fathers that they had been dumped and wanted revenge or tried to come on to him continually.

Will nodded to Noel. “How about a spar to see if you’ve come far?” He smirked.

Will never had gotten used to being carried off by a girl. It was embarrassing, and this was pretty ironic for a guy who had a pretty good tolerance for even the worst of things. And for the whole world to see too, the blonde thought as Noel flew off in the air and then landed in some remote area. Smart. Epsecially if things got really destructive.

He bowed to her as well as she took her position across from him. The blonde smirked. "Of course. But, ladies first," he said sarcastically, taunting her with a hand motion.

Will laughed. Like Noel, he enjoyed their spars because he didn't have to hold back as much at all. He stomped the ground to send a counter wave to Noel's wave and then bounded off the ground forward , jumping toward Noel to meet her as she came down toward him from above. "Noel, don't you know axe kicks make you more vulnerable if you don't time it perfectly?" Axe kicks did leave the waist area on the sides open because the concentration was on the leg going up and then down to move like an axe swing. The blonde aimed a spinning hook kick toward Noel's side.

((It's alright. End it or kick Will in the face or something whenever you feel like it. To be honest, I'm not exactly very creative here either.))

Will chuckled as his hit connected, and Noel was sent flying to the left from his prospective but from the right on her prospective. She recovered pretty quickly and picked up a tree trunk, which looked a bit big for her stature, but Will knew better due to her abilities. Despite that, she didn't look very graceful or lady like with the massive tree trunk sections in her hands.

The blonde still preferred hand to hand, but to be fair, he skidded backwards and snapped up a thinner tree trunk to match Noel. He ran towards her.

Will dodged the trunk, but it exploded to his side, pushing him to the side and breaking the tree trunk he was holding. He faltered, a few splinters cutting into his skin, but smirked as he whistled, attempting to make up for his faltering time by sending a sound wave toward Noel.


The shadowy figure smiled although the smile wasn't visible because of the shadows. He was also older than the two "children" fighting off in the distance. "Yes indeed. We should make arrangements to have them on certain missions or assign them to a certain division. They are both conveniently enrolled with the military," the man answered with an equally cold voice with a hint of amusement. "They will certainly be useful."

Just as Noel hadn't found a way to effectively counter his sound ability, Will hadn't perfected a technique to deal with the energy "exploding random stuff" ability of Noel's either. However, while Will's soud annoyed Noel, the crashing sound of the concussive force energy also annoyed Will due to his sensitive ears. He sent another sound wave to lessen the force energy coming toward him, but he has underestimated the force energy and was knocked back a couple yards straight through a tree. Oh, man. That was foolish of me. The blonde laughed. He stood up, surveying really briefly the new wounds he had gotten from this latest fiasco. He waited to see if Noel had recovered before running at her again.


The shadowy figure chuckled. "You are perfectly right, and that is why we are in this together. That emperor, the useless man, has no concept of how to make use of his so called people. What a waste. However, he has very susceptible mind that we can easily mold to our uses." He looked toward the battle again. "We are 'advisor' types after all, and we have those that follow us. It's time to move. Set up a few convenient distractions here and there and ...well, conveniently have some factions destroy themselves fighting each other..."

Will countered with punches of his own. The impact of their fists against each other was throwing shock waves off to the side and making the wind blow furiously outward from where they were, endangering the trees in the area. Will's feet remained on the ground for balance as Noel pummeled him, and he pummeled back. One of Noel's punches got through and brushed the side of his abdomen. Cringing slightly, the blonde immediately aimed a knee toward Noel's own stomach. His eyes narrowed as he thought he picked up a light murmur of what he thought were voices. He couldn't make out anything that was said though, and he wasn't sure if it was voices. The distance was too great, and the voices, if they were voices, were too soft even for his sensitive hearing. "Noel... do you hear anyone?"


The older woman's companion smiled. "Two months is plenty of time. The emperor will be at that ball, and we'll simply ask them to do a 'demonstration match' as the representatives of their classes."
