They think she had a small heart attack this morning, but she's already on heart medicine, so there's nothing they can really do except keep her under observation. She's doing okay, but she's still pretty weak. So, my Mimi is staying with us for a few days. We would like her to move in with us so we can take care of her, but she won't do it. It worries me having her live by herself. @Snow - Thanks and congrats! heart Btw - I LOVE the Python quotes! xd of course that makes sense.. Ugh now knowing the sit, better, i really do hope things work out for the best. and perhaps you can persuade her into staying with you by explaining why you are worried and what not? if you haven't already that is. I found with ppl though to get them to agree or understand is a matter of how you word what you say. The problem is that the house that she lives in was built by she and her husband when they first got married over 60 years ago. My great-uncle died about 10 years ago (we call my great-aunt "Mimi" because she's so close that she's like a 3rd grandmother to us), so the house has too many memories for her to leave behind. That's that biggest reason why she doesn't want to live with us. She only lives about 45 minutes away, but that's still a long way if something happens to her and she needs our help. huh i see.. to bad one of you couldn't go live with her then... I would be too afraid to live over there. Somehow over time, her neighborhood became part of the ghetto. sweatdrop Her car got stolen from her driveway twice in the past 10 years. xp oh I see... that sucks, huh where are you guys? strange... prob towards the east of where irky and i are. hmm....

I live in an average middle class suburb 45 minutes south of Birmingham. My Mimi lives within city limits, so yeah... higher crime rate.
@Alvinette - This will be my first convention, so I don't know. I've just heard about people getting freebies, but I have no idea what they are. It's probably just pencils or stickers or something, but I have no idea really.

I wish I could find some knee-high boots that fit me, but I have huge muscular calves, so I've never really been able to find boots that work for me. And I've wanted a pair of goth boots for years! crying
