C'mon! She's kick a**, she does what she wants, when she wants, however she wants. If I'm not mistaken, I may be, I believe there were even times where she partnered up with Batman.

The Joker is totally kick a**, don't get me wrong. I just don't think he is the best.

The Joker first appeared in Batman #1 (Spring 1940).
The original and most widely known Catwoman, Selina Kyle, first appears in Batman #1 (Spring 1940).
I doubt Disney will destroy 70 year old characters =3
