A baritone which smelled like someone had urinated in it. And when we picked it up to put it in its case it started leaking a whole lot of yellow liquid.
a shoe. or two.
a pair of briefs.
A shel silverstien book which had been sitting in the corner for all 4 years i've been in the band.
moldy cartons of milk that had been there for god knows how long
a PA system from the 80s
the contra bass clarinet we had somehow lost. (how do you lose a contra bass clarinet?)

Well...when cleaning out our lockers today we found a lobster "suit." It had huge foam pinchers and red pants/shirt and even a huge tail. The locker didn't belong to anyone and no one knew whose they were!
Upon further inspection we also found a bag of Goldfish and a jock strap.

(how do you lose a contra bass clarinet?) lol i play contrabass. but the weirdest thing we found was a ginormous stack of glittery plastic hats.

There's really nothing that I could possibly find that would surprise me in my band room...My teacher is like a little kid...he's got the most ridiculous toys and things everywhere...he rides around on an electric scooter even...
...I carry mouthwash and a bathroom cup around in my trumpet case so I can run to the bathroom and give it a bath if it starts to reek...Taken out of context I can see someone finding that and kinda going "WTF?!"

Ok we ok cleaning out our band room this summer, and so far I've found:
~ A huge cockroach that was stuck to a music folder.
~ A old pillow from our band trip.
~ Old music from about 50 years ago.
~ A few dead rats
~ An old plunger with crap on it. (we found that in a sink)
~ A few instruments with crap on it. (they were in the sink too)
~ Some cans of white paint.
~ A sax carekit that was barried
~ An old sax
I like that's about it, so far......

Hmmm well at my school we got a new band teacher this year (he is a total neet freek... no really he will stay at the school all night if he is upset or like really happy or for the hell of it.. and clean and organize all night long.... I'm not kidding he is crazy sometime.....)
but some of the stuff I'v found laying around are...
so many od clothing items you could cloth a small country with them...
gastly uniforms (we still wear.. but are getting new ones) we have a ruffle and and bright orange cumberbuns....(ish)
and he gave us these really old practice books and mine had an old fingering chart, an old peice of music... and a page long note from 1990 where two girls where talking aout how one of them had had sex the other day or something on those lines......

there are always gummy ears stuck to the walls of these two girls' lockers......they're like years old.

we just got a new band directore and i helped ( was forsed) him unpack ... ewwwwwwwwwww dose any one else have an extremly gay band teacher that carries condoms to the band room

i wasnt relaly cleaining the band room, but one day when i was taking my trumpet out of my locker in the band room, SOMEONE ELSE'S SOCK was in there!!!! i was like EWWWWW...so i got a pencil, jabbed it and threw it in the trash...
YUCK!
