while i may be able to fill that much by beggaring my self with my kin, i refuse to even think of doing such a thing... what you ask... what you wish to do... is a thing so great... you must undertake on your own... help you might ask but after this... i fear you will not receive.... no one seeks to cheat death by shirking that which they must shoulder on their own....

austin, i do not see you even beginning to try and find the energy elsewhere... and i'll not beggar my kin for so insular a purpose... i find it disturbing that as soon as i make an offer (a quite generous offer at that) you demand more... i promise you... i wasn't bartering, i was offering... there is a difference you know... does my friendship mean so little that you'd squander what little time remains for you to find aid in other avenues by angering me with you foolishness?

then do something... i offered to take care of half your burden, if she means so much to you, you should be out looking for help rather than trying to force another into service for you... do you realize how much magical energy i was offereing you... all of my own plus that of most of me kin... giving you all you asked for would leave us beggared and defenseless... have you any idea as to how long it takes to regenerate that much power? as for waiting, you wait... as we all wait... yes even i wait... but if you wish to defy the wait, you must defy it, not ask your friends to do it for you...
