Renais awoke with a start, Kethsar screaming as she awoke from her sleep. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes, then stared back at Kethsar. "Nothing worth mentioning" he said, checking his person for missing items. His mind began to spin into motion as it began to process what Kethsar had said. "What? There's been no royal births for years. Unless I've not been told something..."

... i was thrown in, i have no idea why, just that some one wants me here for a reason unknown to me, i do remember chants of a shadow mage as a man operated on me..i believe that shadow mage is following me

"... how old are you Ren, she's 220. It's not like humans, who die off quickly." she said, reproachfully. She stood up and glanced at her sword and almost gagged, she picked up the nodachi and cleaned, rewrapping it and placing it beside her staff. She began to search through her pack, and picked out some new clothing. Holding it in her hand she stared at Renais, almost mentalling telling him to get out.

Zephyre sighed, yet it sounded like a growl. "So nobody knows where the bloody hell we are?" His tone seemed more angered. "It is definately not the mortal realm..." He noted to himself. "What of that cloaked man, and the girl who had fainted? Who are they?"

"A good warrior knows his surroundings, and when he doesnt know that, he learns of possible threats." Zephyre raised an eyebrow and gave a mocking look to Zero. He then looked to his left. "They went that way....." He mumbled.

Zero growled when Zephyre gave him a mocking look "Don't you dare talk down to me" he said in a menacing tone

Renais sighed, not given a chance to answer her question. He walked toward the door, dispelling it with a wave of his hand and left. It was still dark, unnaturally so. His drowen senses adjusted to the darkness, allowing him to see the streets as though it were day. He heard something, like a whisper in the wind. He concentrated, focusing on voices, trying to discern who was speaking. Two of them seemed vaguely familiar, but another was a mystery to Renais. He leaned against the Inn wall, mulling over the recent events, trying to make out his next move...

Kethsar stood, noticing the odd lighting, and dismissed, she took her belongings and loaded up her mare, standing where she had left her. Mounting she looked towards Renais, "I hope we meet again, Renais, Don't get yourself killed before then..."
She went into a Gallop and began heading back towards the River of Neklar.

grave leaned against a tree, waiting for the demon to reply, he could also tell that renais was listening in on their conversation, noting the strange light, he took off his coat... he looked as if 200 pounds of muscle had left his frame, the coat slithered away into the shadows.
a lone foreboding shadow stood in the field less than 50 yards away...

Zephyre growled under his breath. He could sense the cloaked man--- Renais, was listening in on them. "You wanted to know my reasons, they seemed pretty obvious." He shrugged simply at Zero. He never removed his gaze from the general direction of Renais and the other one.

Zero realizing that Renais was watching them wordlessly returned to his shadow form with Cypren, hoping he had not overheard much, and cursed himself for not being more careful.

"Our paths will cross again, I know..." Zephyre's crackling whisper was heard as he jumped back and disappeared into the shadows of the forest surrounding them. He swiftly and silently moved towards the cloaked man Renais, then lowered his power level by creating the illusion he wasnt there. It was simple really, all he did was use translucent dark flames around his body, anyone looking directly near him would just see whatever was behind, this also threw off their senses as well, but only if they hadn't encountered him before.
