Lyra grinned, then eventually burst into laughter at her fellow bandmates' actions. She knew that she would be able to rely on them at the very least to make her relax a bit more.

"How about you send me some roses, too, guys?" She grinned at them over her trumpet. "God knows my house could use some help to smell nice."

Even as she joked, she wondered what Mr. Carpenter's reason for not stopping them was. Perhaps he was just trying to get a feel for each of their personalities?

This time Nate just had to laugh. All this was getting ridiculus, but oh well. A band that jokes together tends to stay together, or something like that. "Yeah, Mr. Carpenter, We need our BAnd Director's input on this, your decision is final."

Amy was happy everyone was getting so excited. She hadn't felt her phone vibrate the first time but she did the second. flipping open the Sony Ericson in her hand she read the second message first and replied: "Yea it should. i can't wait." She sent it before reading the first. She was a bit shocked but happy at the same time. "Yea, tonight sounds great." She looked up to watch Mr. Carpenter deal with the other students before saying what she thought. "I think adding a violin or even a cello, maybe amped would add a great aspect to the show."

Lyra said, "She could be in pit and have her own little stage that she could solo on with all of the other soloists."

Lyra also added with a grin to Amy, "I like the way you think- that's definitely what I was thinking earlier. Glad that a strings player would agree with me, too."

((Gah! Sorry guys! My computers been a pain in the *ss lately and I couldn't get it to work!))

Addie couldn't help but laugh out loud at Seth's second proposal. She listened to the shouting and suggestions barely listening, already imaging the new cadences for this year. When she heard the bits about choir and violins though, she couldn't stay quiet. "This is a marching band, isn't it?!?!" she shouted, standing up and rather annoyed. "Getting choir to sing and havign a violin play is not what i signed up for. Leave all the parts in a band instrument!!!!" she called. She was not happy about those suggestions at all. The costumes and acting sounded like fun, but choir and violin? That was selling out. Hearing Seth's condolence, she couldn't stop a smile. Only eyes for her, Ha! He hadn't even known her name before today. She waited to hear everyone's take on her anger, hands on her hips and barely visible over the bass drum she standing behind.

Woopsy =] I just skimmed through most of the posts, so I missed that. Oh well, just think of it as backing your charry up =]

Luna ran as fast as she can from her AP Physics class.
"Crap..Looks like I am too late.." she murmured to herself.
She went to her cubby and quickly started to put her clarinet together. She stuck her reed in her mouth as she walked up to Mr.Carpenter.
"I am sorry" she said as she handed her late note.
She went back to her seat. As she leaned back on her chair she pondered the options on the board.
"Phantom of the Opera" she voted.
Her cellphone started vibrate. Text message. She hopes that Mr. C doesn't mind about texting.

"This could work guys. And what is wrong with having a cello? That would be great since Phantom has so many haunting pieces in it." Oh well and what was with that girl coming in super late? Back to the phone, Nate answered Amy with "Where do you want to go?"
