a few young boys run out towards Gera with bamboo sticks and begin to fight one another as if they were playing

Gera hides his blade, not wanting to attract attention. "You're holding those wrong, try like this." He grabs one of the sticks and grasps it tightly, then spins it around himself. "See, it works better this way." He returns the stick as he begins walking back to the castle, trying to arrive before Kelina walks up.

Gera jumps back in through the window, staying silent. He quickly removes hsi jacket and lays in the bed, faking sleep.

a few cooks walk in pushing in a cart of pancakes, fresh juice, etc.
