eek That reminds me... on the note about a "town meeting" towns are down for a while, while the admins fix something or other with the flash stuff.

I think that it is a good idea. biggrin And we can hold off on a town meeting until Thursday maybe? It might be fixed by then. I have a feeling that few of us are going to be around on Friday night.
So far, we have 6 votes for a new name and 1 vote for the old name. With that being said, lets choose a new name! I will add all name ideas to the first post and we can discuss them and vote on one in a poll later. Hopefully we can be named by Thursday. I am really eager to get this place named so we can start working on our layout! biggrin

My bf is not much for chatting in the forums and whatnot... but he suggests something simple and uncomplicated, he said if it was up to him he just call it "The Bar" or something similar lol

[Lol, currently I am amusing myself with a brochure thats being handed out to people here at my college persuading us all to take up a vegan lifestyle because of animal cruelty. Honestly, I don't believe veganism is the right solution to the whole animal cruelty predicament. Rather... it is the method of killing the must be revised. Any sane and logical being would point out that fact rather than proposing an entirely off-topic solution. Then again, (and I'm going to say this to express my distaste to the whole vegan peer pressure strategy) vegans are too frail and suffer mental disabilities due to malnourishment to even accept the fact that death is just as necessary as life and the truth is -- we need cleaner/painless methods of killing rather than current ones without any logic whatsoever. I mean honestly, tasers??? Tasers can't even effectively kill a human being, why the hell would it be able to kill an animal?? Human beings are so retarded, it makes me sad to be a part of such a species I'd rather evolve dramatically or even mutate or something just to become separated.]
@_@ Excuse my ranting there... Anyhow, I can't wait to see the new name ideas. :] Hopefully I'll have enough time to actually participate in the contest

My schedule is all over the place right now until June, then I'm working 9-6 Mon-Fri for three weeks, then 8-5 Mon, Tuse, Wed, Thur, Saturday. >_> Fun stuff, eh?
I'll get on the games subforum soon. Doing some other stuff, but it'll be done by the end of the night.

I will probably be away and with limited computer access from Thursday until Monday, as I'm going out of town for my girlfriend's graduation. I'm excited!! But it unfortunately means I wouldn't be able to make a Town Meeting this weekend.
I'm interested in running a thread discussing new items, like evolving items and quest items (like the new speed racer item, which is stupid if you either don't have a car or have a UFO like I do) or how the Liam quest was fun but completely inflated the market price of blue bass, and suddenly it seemed impossible to get blue bass by fishing (for my mules at least, who just have basic rods, and for people I encountered in fishing that weekend). 'Cos honestly, that's the only thing I've really been paying attention to on Gaia for the past few months, the items!!! I haven't bought too many other than cheap-as-free ones or Cash shop items sweatdrop but it would be fun to discuss! bwaha!
But now is bedtime. I'll probably post that thread tomorrowtimes.
