The funny thing about it is that it is exactly something that I would do. I find myself getting things mixed up all the time. I don't know if anyone noticed this or not, but I revived this guild in March of last year, and the Summer Beach Party was the first guild event that we had. We will have to have another one sometime, but not right now. I'm really busy with the Annual Ball. Congrats everyone on keeping this guild alive! heart (It makes me squeal with glee to know that we proved our old captain wrong and survived two years after he closed the old guild after claiming that the guild was dead.) twisted

It took a long time to get it organized and to make my computer cooperate, but we finally have a new banner on the front page! Hooray for democracy! xd
I am starting a new project to change the guild description. I put up something temporary right now just to get some ideas going, but it won't be permanent unless everyone is just absolutely in love with the trial one that I made for some odd reason. I will be making a thread for it in a few days, so be on the look out for it! biggrin
I would also like to announce that the 8th Annual Ball will be beginning on the 23rd. It is a user-run ball that has been done by regular Gaians for years, and it is not a guild event. However, GreenInkling and I are working in the Celebration Room, so please come and join us if you can! This year's theme is Greek Mythology, and we have lots of fun Greek themed roleplays scheduled for this weekend!

Those roles have already been taken, and they are in other rooms. It's just Dionysus, Demeter, and Ariadne in the Celebration Room. But, please show up and support us! biggrin

The 8th Annual Ball is now over, and I had a great time playing a co-host in the Celebration Room. Now that I have more free time, I would like to focus on some things in this guild.
1) I would like to change the guild intro statement on the first page to make it look more professional or something. I did a temporary thing, but I want to know about if you have any ideas on how to improve it.
2) Summer is here, and it is really hot, so I was thinking that we could have another beach party. Except, I would love it if we could make more of a storyline for the whole event, kind of like in the Annual Ball. In the past few events, I micromanaged everything because of time, but I would love to have the crew in on this one to make it the best event that this guild has had so far! I will make a planning thread for the crew shortly.

I apologize for taking so long to update this thread. It's been a rather busy week for me, plus I'm rather forgetful. sweatdrop
We decided to do a camp themed event for our summer event, and it will be from August 23rd to 27th. We are going to have lots of fun, games, contest, prizes, and more! Please join us!

Camp Vetus Gaianus has begun! It will is scheduled to end on Friday night/Saturday morning (night of August 27th), but it might drag out a bit longer depending on how things go. Come and join us and win prizes! heart

Camp Vetus Gaianus has ended, but that doesn't mean that the fun has! Mira's two sentence game has been moved to the Game subforum. The RP has been moved to the lobby for a while. I'm hoping that there will be some participation in it, but if not, it will be moved to the RP subform. Alvinette's Random Number Game has been moved to the lobby also. There are still two more slots left for winners, but the game won't last long! It ends on Friday, so hurry and win gold before it's too late! After Friday, the game will be moved to the archives. 3nodding

We have gotten a few new members recently, and I am very thankful to have all of them join our ranks. I also just posted a recruitment thread in the Gaia Guilds forum, advertising our guild. Hopefully with some new members, we can bring some life back into this guild.
There have also been a few clean-up things recently. Since no one posted in the Camp RP thread in three weeks, I have moved it to the RP subforum where it can be picked back up if anyone has any interest in it. Alvinette's random number game ended a couple weeks ago, and it has been moved to the archives.
In October, look forward to the guild Halloween event. This year, we will be having our Halloween event in a thread in the Halloween event forum instead of in the guild. I hope to attract new members by doing this, and I also hope that more people will participate if everything is consolidated into one thread. We will have fun games that members and non-members alike can enjoy. More info on this event will come later. biggrin
