Alan looked at the costume and couldn't hide his frown. "Thanks Luke but I didn't wanna be a monster..." He said quietly. "I wanted to be a knight..." He looked down the costume still held out in front of him as if he was still examing it. I don't wanna be a monster....he thought quietly.

Constance fussed over Alan until Luke came back. She nibbled at her bottom lip, thinking, looking between the two young men. She patted Luke's arm, "That was very kind of you, Luke." She thanked him as well, she eyed Alan, "A knight, hm? You should have told me....we could have had you fitted and I might have asked Alester to be useful for a change...." She touched the ogre suit and chuckled, "Doesn't surprise me you have one of these, Luke." She murmered.
Magic became thick in Alan's room, making the air crackle with it, swirling glitter appeared on his bed. Constance exhaled and closed her eyes. One by one pieces of faery armour appeared, each matching Alan's size perfectly until the set was complete. Her eyes fluttered open, "A potent glamour, it'll last until sunrise." She informed Alan, Constance picked up the ogre suit, amusment flashing behind her eyes, "I really need to take you two to the Unseelie Court..."

Alan looked at himself smiling slightly and stepped into his closet and pull out a surcoat that fit over his head and shoulders. It was split into fourths top left corner was green as was the bottom left. The other two corners where black. In the middle in black was the schools mascot. He looked at Constance for approval. The Feary armour was better then the plastic stuff sitting in his closet. "Thank you..." He said quietly.

Still holding the ogre suit she smiled brilliantly, "Of course, love. I won't have you missing this party. Are you going to uncover your hand this time?" She asked. She asked at every costume party she threw, so far the answer had been no but she hadn't given up hope.

"Not tonight..." He said quietly. I don't wanna scare her... He said quietly putting his hand to his cheek before moving to the door. "I guess I am going down stairs now...."He said not really understanding why he was announcing it as he left his room, and slowly moved down the stairs.

"Alright, we'll meet you down there!" Constance called. She listened until his sounds were faint before turning to Luke, "I sensed something odd today. I couldn't find the source, but I sensed death. I'm not completely certain it's young energy but it was dangerous. I don't think I want to expose to Mafia to it just yet..."

Alan slipped into the crowd moving about it trying to mingle and not really knowing how. So he just slipped through the crowded trying to keep his right hand out of the fore front and not to be noticed.

Luke made a scoffing noise when Constance mentioned the Unseelie Court and retorted, "You know how boring I find that place, Constance. There's nothing but eye candy, and half the time they've just got colorful wrappers with nasty cheapo filth under the glamour. I can see right through those things when I want, y'know." He'd been able to do that for a little over a year now, and since then has been training himself to find new, undiscovered uses of his power. So far he'd found that only his imagination held him back.
The next thing that Constance told him knocked the humor out of his mind, and he adopted a more serious ninja face, furrowed brow included. He sighed heavily, the tension leaving his body in a way much contrasting his former look. "I hate that this sort of thing follows the kids around, Constance. Is there anything special that you'd like me to do? I've been working on a nifty little trick, but it'll honestly take about a year before it's anywhere close to actually working, and years more to perfect. Once it's done, though..." He let that verbal thought hang on the edge, fearing that he'd already said too much. He'd accidentally discovered an aspect of his power that had very heavy consequences if messed up, and it made him wonder whether he really should interact with people like a normal person. "Too bad I can't 'imagine' myself back to when Alan was little so he could maybe have a normal hand," Luke said with a nervous smile, trying to cover for what he'd just said. No doubt Constance would see through it anyway. She had the 'mom sense' that made any sort of deceit melt under her gaze.

((For some reason, all I can think of for this is a high school dance...))
Nina closed the door to her room. She was all ready to go and couldn't wait, though she was probably later than she should be, it didn't matter though. It wasn't as if the party stopped, it was still going on. She could hear by the thumping of the music. She took the stairs too at a time until she got to the room the party was in.
"This party's jammin'!" She said, working her way to the snack for a cup of the punch.

Constance chuckled, "That's the Seelie Court you're thinking of." She murmered before shaking her head, "Keep your eyes peeled but other than that, nothing I can think of. I'm still trying to find whatever or whoever it is. You see anything odd, though, and you tell me immediately." She patted his cheek, "Go have some fun, I've got to get into costume, my special guests are arriving." She grinned at him then disappeared with a soft POP!

The room was dark except for a soft-blue glow comming from the window seat. Adrianna's silhouette could be seen, along with the obvious laptop that resided on her lap.
Scream-o music played from her head-phones, along with the continuous tapping of her fingers against the keyboard.
She ignored the black cocktail dress that was spread out over her bed and continued typing...her hair and make-up were done and finished... but she kept a steady gaze on the screen.

Fingering the ogre suit, thinking of having Alester put it on, she went to her closet but stopped short and tilted her head. Putting down the suit she left her room and appeared at Adrianna's door. She tapped softly, "Adrianna? Are you alright, the party has started in the Ever After room. Do you need help with your costume?"

Letty's slowly protruding wolf ears tilted as she listened to Luke and Constance converse. The moon wasn't quite up yet, so her transformation wasn't nearly completed, that would happen when the sun fell under the skyline and the moon shone brightly round in the sky. In her arms, along with Aristotle, she had papers clutched tightly to her chest, the drawings she drew of the unseen person she had smelt just before getting to school, that she had drawn during class. She couldn't seem to get that smell out of her nostrils, and it seemed like Constance had mentioned something similar while they talked.
When little Letty heard Constance 'pop' out of the room, she stood in the doorway and looked up at Luke. "Did you find him?" she asked, referring to the mystery boy that she had smelled. She thought he might know, since he had talked to Lady Constance, but she wasn't sure. Letty looked up at Luke with big blue eyes as her skin was visibly acquiring a brown tint, the moon outside slowly rising. "I could smell him before. I drew him at school," she explained, showing Luke the drawings she drew of a blurred figure with no real accountable features.

Luke would have stuck his tongue out at Constance if weren't wearing a mask. That would just look foolish. He hadn't noticed Letty until now, as he was lost in his own thoughts, but he still reached down and took the drawings from the small girl. He noticed that she was beginning her transformation. Fortunately for him, he knew very good ways to avoid bites. "You're quite the artist, Scar-letty."
Luke cast an eye out of the nearest window and noticed it getting darker, the clouds shifting to reveal an enlarging lunar body. Letty'd fully transform at any moment. He placed a hand on her shoulder and slowly began walking toward her room. He gave back the drawings and began benignly guiding her. "Do you have any more drawings? I'd love to see them if you do." He smiled at her through his mask. He had to get her to a safe place before she changed, otherwise the party guests would be endangered.

As they reached the bottom floor, a rather mountainous man stepped through the door and stopped, his gaze riveting on Letty immediately. As soon as he did, his human looking ears disappeared and wolf ears popped into view out of his main of reddish gold hair. He grinned broadly before looking up at Luke, "Hello. You must be Luke. Constance invited me, I'm Tobias, the alpha of the Red River pack." He offered a large hand which was tipped by curving claws and he dropped his hand, "Whoops." A booming chuckle.
A small boy poked his head out from behind the large man's leg, large green eyes that matched Tobias's. He moved out from behind the man who was evidently his father and executed a stiff bow towards them both. He was a bit taller than Letty and looked the girl over moodily.
The mountain chuckled again, "This is my son Ranier."
