"Oh for the love of- Make him go away. nothing good comes out of his presence!" Vaati hissed. He wasn't laughing anymore, much to the guard's relief. Judging by the look on his face, Vaati could tell he was worried about his mental health.
"Well, that's kind of mean." Dark laughed as he glanced up at Kaze. "What are you talking to Vaati for?"

Kaze chuckled a bit more. "Oh, let's just say Vaati did a few things to make himself end up in prison..." He muttered, trying to be as vague as possible. He was sure Vaati didn't want him telling Dark all about how he killed some people, atacked him and Zathier, and Vaati's excrutiatingly painful experience. "Anyway, Why are you here?' Kaze asked.

"I'm bored so I'm going bother you now. How dark is it outside right now?" Dark didn't even bother to poke his head out the shadow. He never did well in sunlight, especially since Alyssa and Zathier decided to abuse that little tidbit.

Kaze tilted his head and walked under some thick trees. "Can you not see this world from the shadows?" he asked as he sat down beside one of the trees. "It's still sunny outside, but I'm under the shade of some trees. So, the light shouldn't hurt you." He explained calmly.

"I'm not going to risk it. Alyssa and Zathier almost killed me with it." Dark answered, climbing out of Kaze's shadow. "What did Vaati do anyway? You would think he would be trying to stay out of prison. It's less time he can spend with Opal..."

"Well... Vaati hasn't really been himself lately... For some reason, he has an evil side to him, and that side has taken over his body twice now." Kaze started to explain as he sat there. "This time, he killed some people and... He got his punishment for it, too... Zathier and I made sure he felt every bit of pain he deserved..." He shifted uncomfortably as he unwillingly thought about the place Vaati was hit. "I guarantee, Vaati will never leave that spot unprotected again..." He muttered.

Dark laughed. He was lucky he never felt that kind of pain yet, and probably won't. "Why do you humans do that to each other? All you guys do is squirm in pain whenever you see a fellow guy hit there. Wouldn't that cause a lot of imaginary pain for you too?"

Arious sighed, high muscles relaxing from her massaging touch. He scrubbed his arms then rinsed them. "My dear, you have a wonderful talent for relaxing me..." He let a smiled flow across his lips. All thoughts of Darious had left him. He would never enjoy Silver like he did.
Shadow smirked at Saya. "Despite what you think, I believe that he likes me... I have to say.. He doesn't look that bad... Pretty intelligent if you ask me.."
Liam laughed as they walked in the gardens. He watched the moon above him. he thought it was weird that it was white, not red like his Elonacian moon. "There is much about you do not know... You see.. When I said we all have our specialties in magic, I am one of those people with a great number of them. I have been blessed with abilities to read minds... or hear your thoughts. That is why my replies went right along with your thinking." He saw the exit to the garden but turned her down another path that would lead them through the hedge maze. Of course, it was a lot smaller than the one he was used to, but it would still be fun.

Kaze glared at Dark for a split second. "If you could feel pain, you would be able to emphasize with Vaati as well." It was impossible to describe how much agony a guy would be in if that happened. "Being hit there is pure pain" He said firmly. Kaze took one of his swords out and placed a small cut on his arm. "You see, this, is not pain." Then, he punched himself in the gut. "This, is not pain." Kaze finally twisted his hand very slightly out of place, but enough to hurt. "And this, is not pain, either. There is no pain worse, or even equal to, being hit there." He felt he could not stress that fact enough.
Tsunisa tilted her head again. "You can read minds?" She asked curiously. "If that's true, then... I guess I should watch what I think as well as what I say... Aww! That's not fair! My thoughts are suppose to be private!" She thought to herself, forgetting the fact that he could read her mind, even though she was thinking about his ability to read her mind. Then, her ears perked up again. "Uh, sorry... if you were reading my mind at that time..." Tsunisa muttered and pressed her lips together.

Liam chuckled. "Don't worry. The only other people who are able to do it are my father and his friend, the Count Rugen. But... I try and be polite and block people's thoughts... Or only listen when I think it is important." She smiled leading her into the hedge maze and taking numerous turns.

Dark stared at the red line on his arm while listening to everything else. Maybe Kaze could be create a nice shadow... "But that just proves my point. Why would anyone dare to hit another guy there if you can sympathize with him and feel the same pain? It makes no sense unless you're a girl hitting a guy or a shadow. Maybe I should hit Arious there for getting married."
"I will teach him to hate you if you continue with your comments." Saya threatened, rolling her eyes at Shadow. Seth grabbed Shadow's hand and pulled it closed, spreading his fingers and curiosity.

Tsunisa gave a sigh of relief and smiled at Liam. "Good! You should never read a woman's thoughts!" She stated plainly. She glanced over at him and tilted her head. "I don't remember seeing any of these places... And if his father didn't like visitors, wouldn't he have found me when I first ran through this place?" It had finally donned on Tsunisa that Liam probably could have led her out of the castle long ago, but she shrugged slightly and continued to walk with him.
Kaze shook his head and tried to relax a bit. "The only reason we chose that as the target... is because it was the quickest way to make Vaati go down..." He explained, chuckling a bit at Vaati's high-pitched voice after he was hit. "But I will have to admit... It was funny to hear him after that..." Kaze had to be honest on that mark. The pain was easily envisioned, but it was far too hilarious not to laugh.

"What do you mean? Was he complaining?" Dark was on his stomach, his black hair tied back to keep it out of his way. He had no idea how Vaati kept his hair that way it was without it getting in his way. His eyes wondered on Kaze again, studying his features quickly.

Liam smiled at her. "Then I shall not read yours if it makes you feel more comfortable..." He could see the end of the maze up ahead. he scowled. he enjoyed talking to this girl. "Listen... It is quite late... It could be dangerous for you to try and make your way back to the forest. Why don't you stay here for the night?" He led her back into the castle. There were just around the corner from the main entrance.
Shadow smirked. "I am pretty sure he is smart enough to think for himself. If he likes me, he likes me. Not even you can change that..." He gave the small boy's hand a squeeze as he flashed a grin at him.
Helios suddenly paused from his pacing. He glanced up. "Hmmm... so he has come home... why is he hiding the auroa of his magic? trying to hide something?" He walked toward the big doors at the entrace of his room. After he sealed his roo off from intruders, he headed toward were he could faintl feel his son's magic.

Kaze laughed a bit and looked at Dark. "No... His voice... It was extremely high-pitched, like this." He made his voice go as high as he could, but even that was not a full representation of how high Vaati's had been. "Although, Vaati would kill me if he found out I told you this. So, keep it between us, alright?" Kaze explained. Though, he didn't really care if Vaati got mad at him or not.
Tsunisa tilted her head yet again. "I'm a wolf, so I can handle some danger, but I am a little tired... I guess I could stay here for the night. Do you think your father would mind?" She asked. She didn't want to impose on anyone's hospitality, though, by how Liam explained things, Helios wasn't the most hospitable man around.
