April laughed softly embarrassed. Something had been bothering her since she had followed her father. "Is Papa mad at Ma?" She asked, looking over at him. She had read his mind, deep in the back about his sudden anger towards Silver. She tilted her head, not even noticing the sweat that covered her fathers arms and chest. She moved a hand and brushed a stray red hair out of his face, staring in his deep emerald green eyes, suddenly her big violet ones turned green too, matching his. "See daddy? I can do another trick!" She said excitedly.
Din looked at Rugen, she started to relax. I guess... if it's Rugen... it would be alright... she thought, her fears starting to slowly dim down, feeling her dress finally slip down her arms and drop down her ankles.

Vaati transformed back, his eyes streaming with tears as his face turn red from the sheer pain. He was curled up into a little ball, tyring to find a comfortable position while he waited for the inense pain to subside. "I'll never be able to have a child..." He murmured in a high-pitched voice.

Zathier stared at Vaati and chuckled a bit. "One, you and Opal are a bit young for that. And two, you deserved every bit of that." He held himself back from laughing at Vaati's 'predicament'.
Kaze watched as the eye balls disappeared, then looked over at Vaati and Zathier. "Now, if he doesn't stop turning eveil this time... I don't what I'm going to do with that cat..." He muttered as he walked over to them. He wasn't worried about Vaati blasting them back, or anything now. He would be too 'hurt' to do anything for several hours.

"Age hardly matters! And what the heck are you talking about? I didn't even bother you!" Vaati shouted, but his high-pitched voice didn't make it appear threatening at all. In fact, it just made the situation worse.

Zathier and Kaze let out a small snicker before they collected themselves again. "You bothered us by treating Opal like she was some slave to you." Zathier spat on the ground beside Vaati and glared.

Arious smiled at his daughter's new ability. "Very nice, my dear..." he trailed off, knowing that he couldn't avoid her question. "Technically... I am not mad at her... It is just... some other emotion..." He sighed and jumped up on the rock without any difficulty, even though the rock was a good six feet high. He sat cross legged and put April in his lap. "That other man that looks like me... He likes your mom a lot. You know... He likes to kiss her like I do.... But you see... Your mother and I are bonded by marrige. And if Darious kisses her... Well, it makes me mad because it feels like it is breaking that special bond we have..." He tried to put it on a low enough level with out getting into anything too deep.
Rugen smiled. "Much better love..." He said gently in her ear. He flicked his wrist and the door slammed shut and locked itself. The windows darkened making it look like the evening. A couple of candles lit up giving the room a warm feeling. He untied his cape and slipped to floor. He sighed. His clothes were so complicated.. Layers of vests and shirts... He chuckled... "A little help perhaps?"
Shadow returned the stare of the baby. "Uh.. yeah. I get hungry and stuff... I gotta eat like once a day or so... drink water... I sleep every couple days I guess.. or when I am simply tired... Anything else?" However the wagged his arms reahing for Shadow. He raised an eyebrow.
Liam, seeing the girl's fear, loosened up a bit. He clenched his fists, the flames disappearing. he bowed. "Forgive me, my lady. You smiply caught me off guard... I did not expect anyone in here... I thought perhaps you were trying to steal something... Do tell.. Why are you here?" His hand rested on the hilt of his sword, just in case.

The girl slowly stood up and gave a sigh of relief. "I told you, I'm lost." She said as she lowered her head. There were wolf ears on her head, They folded back as she lifted her head again. "I was wandering through the desert and came upon this castle. So, I knocked on the door, but no one answered. The door was open, so I entered, and now I'm lost." The girl explained as her ears stood up again. "Do you think you could help me out a bit?" She asked.

"How? I wouldn't even hurt her!" Vaati squeaked, noticing that his back was bloody too. That was the secodn time he woke up and his back was bloody and he had no idea why. He didn't even what he did to deserve the pain he was feeling now.
"No, that should- Seth, no, he's not your father either." Saya held the baby away from Shadow. Seth still struggled to reach out for him, he was simply curious.
"Hm, the baby is less than a dadold and he's already a genius for his age." Darious muttered, watching the baby with his scholar face on.

Zathier nearly punched Vaati across the face, but remembered that Opal told him about Vaati's forgetfulness when something like that happened. "If Opal were here, she wouldn't want me to explain it, but she isn't here right now." he knelt down and stared Vaati in the eye. "You have an evil side to you. That evil side made you kill people. It even made you hold a knife to Opal's throat. If you don't believe me, then why don't you take a look at the cut you left there when she gets back here." He growled a bit as he remembered Vaati's most recent actions towards her. "This has happened twice now. The first time, you turned Alyssa to stone. And now, you killed some people and made an attempt on Opal's life. I don't know how you end up turning evil, but when you do, you turn into a giant eye ball with wings and attack us. And in this case, you turned into a giant person with four eye ball guardians. That is why you can't move at the moment." Zathier told Vaati just about everything. he thought Vaati should know, since it had happened twice now. At least Vaati would know he did something next time he suddenly woke up in pain.

"Blech, why would mom do that? That's gross." It was common for April to say this, she was close to the age of five. "And besides, mommy likes daddy right? Or she would have told daddy that she didn't want to stay with daddy anymore... I bet if you talked to mommy she'd have a reason to why she let him kiss her..." She said still looking disgusted at the fact of kissing.
Din jumped when he slammed the door and felt the room dark. When he asked for her help she moved forward and touched his chest, undoing the buttons on the vest and taking it off. She moved and started to unbutton his shirt, seeing his lean bare chest. The candle light flickered showing a deep blush on her dark face.
Opal had rushed back to the scene, seeing Vaati on the ground and rushed over to him. "Vaati! Are you alright?!" She said, bandages on her neck and shoulder. She looked over at Kaze and Zathier guessing he was back to normal.
Josline limped around the corner, seeing Vaati back to normal and sighed. "Good I didn't bandage her wounds for nothing." She said, looking over at Zathier and Kaze. "I found this little girl trying to find Alyssa, and wondered how she got those cuts." Josline said frowning.

Kaze turned to Josline and shook his head. "Don't worry about trying to hide the truth. Vaati knows everything now. Zathier told him." He said plainly, then looked over at Vaati. "Also, uh... Vaati won't be doing much for a while... He... Well, he kind of... got hit in the jewels..." Kaze added.
