But it was destroyed three years ago apparently. The nearest town would be New Bark Town. You'd have to catch a ride with someone to Goldenrod City, thought. There might be one there." Jacie said simply.

Marcus looked at her " Don't worry about me Jacie I know what I'm doing...I've been dealing with Team Omni enough to know how to hadnle myself even without my gun." he said " Maybe I was brought here to help you take Team Omni down... hopefully back where I injured Keri enough to buy me time to end it here." he said and walked out closing the door and left to head to Goldenrod.
--Five hours later-- Marshall knocked on the door and waited for Lylla to answer. He was there at 6:00 on the dot as he said. He was dressed casually of course as this was just a friendly outing or so he kept saying. Since Blackthrone was currently in the process of repair and population he was going to drive to Goldenrod and he could be there pretty fast and he actually lived there so he was going to have to make the drive anyway.

She stood there in the doorway with a dark purple one strapped top on with black dress pants and black open-toed shoes on. I definitely wasn't her date outfit. It was more similar to something she'd wear to work.

Let's get going shall we?" she smiled and carefully made her way down the three little steps that led to the looped driveway of the house.

Marshall smiled and walked with her towards the drive way where one of his cars sat. He went around to her side and opened the door holding it until she got it and then got in on the passenger side before he drove off. He turned on the radio and started to drive towards Goldenrod taking on look at the city he once called home but turned back to the road focused on having fun with his best friend who he hadn't been with for 13 years.

As they drove down the road, Lylla rolled down her window and couldn't help but laugh at the sheer joy of hanging out with her best friend like they were teenagers again.

Marshall laughed as well as he pushed the pedal more going faster. He remembered they would always drive down the road and even when they were cops just for fun.It was good to feel the wind sometimes and even though this car was old he kept it in good shape it wasn't his favorite car as his favorite was his motorcycle but this used to be. He remembered sneaking out a night to meet with a group of his friends they all got in and he drove down this very road to Goldenrod to see a concert..he also remembered being grounded for tow month once their parents found out but it was actually worth it just sitting in the car listening to loud rock music everyone in the car just singing along and talking. He looked at her " Brings back memories doesn't it." he said to no one in particular.

Lylla couldn't help but remember how mad her parents would get at her for hanging around with Marshall West's posse. They were constantly telling her how much of a trouble-maker he was and how she should stay away from him. Of course Lylla wasn't the picture perfect girl that her parents wanted her to be so they always had a fit at whatever she did.

Marshall laughed " Yep those times were much simpler...though I always managed to find a way to piss off your parents." he said. Marshall was a huge delinquent back then always causing trouble and getting in trouble with the police though he never really got caught just a few times and Lylla always bailed him out. They would be there in about 20 minutes. He smiled sort of wishing he was a teenager again but he was glad to be an adult not as he had done a lot more. He smiled " I remember running this way to get away from the police once for spray painting the police station....damn could they run fast and for a long time too." he said.

Suddenly Lylla wished those days could come back to her. She wouldn't give up her life now for anything, but she wouldn't mind a day back to her days as a young, mindless teenager. "If only my parents could see me now." she smiled. "Daddy would kill me." she laughed. It was the first time Lylla had spoken of her parents in thirteen years and the first time ever in a positive way.

That much I know for sure. What she did to deserve it or why the kid did it, I don't know. And I'm not sure what happened to Ivan either. Kinda makes you wonder, doesn't it?" Lylla glanced out the window again. "Although I can't help but wonder what happened to Heather's daughter and the girl they were traveling with. Kriss was it? That girl's story intrigues me."
