As a heads up, I'm probably gonna have my hands full for most of the evening tomorrow. I might have time for one or two posts when I'm done holiday stuff, but I can't be certain. Feel free to do any behind-the-scenes RPing (such as before round 4 of the Kyujutsu competition). You guys know what you're doing by now.
Kan's story will go up Tuesday, most likely.

Not for this contest. He's not attacking, he's just making Kyujutsu checks. But he would get the no-armor-OR-free-raise option with a bow, yes. However, first attack in a skirmish or against an opponent who raised against him, he does not get THAT bonus, since it specifically says melee attacks.

The Akodo school is not range-oriented, even though they give you a rank in Kyujutsu.
I tried to hit the 60 point ring, and that added 10 to the TN. I wasn't going to hit that so easily. Not without rolling 10s anyways. Past 100', I was depending on exploding dice to keep going.

It looks like the Scorpions and the Mantis are going to get points from this event either way.
That is if Hisashi can get out of this round. If places are determined by total points, then Seichiro could take second if Hisashi fails.
