"No, Zathier please! I love him!" Opal shouted rushing over and grabbed his arm trying to pull him off even with her wounded shoulder.

Vaati shifted into hsi cat form and slipped out from underneath Zathier. He transformed again, returning to his regular form. He picked up the knife that fell. "I finish you off, then I'll make sure Alyssa joins you."

Zathier glared at Vaati, then noticed Kaze run up. "Good, he can hold Opal back while I deal with cat boy." He thought, then shouted to Kaze. "Hey! Make sure Opal stays out of the way, while I take care of Vaati!" Then, he turned his attention back to the cat.
Seeing Zathier facing Vaati, he knew exactly what happened. He ran up and grabbed Opal's arm. "Opal, sorry, but stay out of this one." He said, forcing her to stay back. He made sure to keep the winds calm while he held opal tightly.

"Kaze, let go! How would you feel if it was Josline who was doing this?! You'd want to snap her out of it too! Please hurting him won't fix anything." Opal sobbed, pulling against Kaze. She looked back at Vaati, she couldn't take this anymore, feeling her skin glow light blue

Kaze knelt down and looked Opal in the eye. "Opal, calm down." He placed his hands on her shoulders. "If Josline was acting like this, I think she would want me to knock her unconcious, then figure something out. Vaati is not going to die." He held her down firmly as he continued staring her in the eye. Opal was either going to get the point now, or live with Vaati, the way he is for the rest of her life.

Opal winced when he touched her wounded shoulder. She looked at it seeing it was still bleeding and staining deeply into the sleeve of her ripped blouse. But she kept her eyes on Vaati, tears running down her face. It was like back in the clouds all over again, all she could was watch Vaati get hurt.

Kaze coninued to stare at Opal, then saw her calm down a bit. "Look, Zathier is not one to kill another, even if the other has killed before. Zathier will do everything he can to make Vaati see clearly, but he wont kill him. He is an elf, meaning that he is quick enough to incapacitate Vaati, should the need arise." He explained. Kaze lightened his grip on her bad shoulder when he finally noticed the blood. "Sorry about the shoulder." he had been so pre-occupied with making Opal see what needed to happen, that he didn't even notice the cut.

Vaati laughed. "Just holding her down won't stop her, Kaze." He glanced at Opal, then Zathier. He made the first move, forcing the wind to hold him down until he could reach him. Vaati pinned him against the ground, holding his knife above Zathier's heart.

Opal blinked seeing Vaati get the advantage over him. Suddenly there was a blast of wind as Kaze was knocked backwards. Opal rushed forward tackling Vaati to the ground pinning him there. "Vaati snap out of it!" Opal shouted at him.

Kaze growled. "Son of a... Opal!" He rushed forward and grabbed her again. He quickly pulled her back to safety and let Zathier take over again. "Vaati IS NOT going to listen!" The girl just couldn't seemed to get it through her stubborn head.
Zathier quickly got up, but not before he let his arm sink into the ground and come back out, covered in earth. With his new earth hand, he quickled rushed forward and pinned Vaati before the cat could get up.

Vaati hissed wildly as he struggled to fight out of his grip. Then he calmed diwn and laughed loudly. His hands were the first to change; what were pale little hands were now large, monsterous claws.

Zathier looked at Vaati strangely and laid his other hand on the ground. He felt the earth cover that one as well. Then, he held up both of his hands, seeing that they ere both earth hands. "You have large hands, I have large hands." he muttered as he brought his strongest hand down on Vaati face.

Opal watched as Vaati once again transformed and looked away. "Not again..." She sobbed covering her eyes, tears leaking from her hands.
Josline had managed to fight back the wind, getting her crutches and headed over to where Kaze had headed off to.

Arious waited paitently for his daughter to get the move. When she finally got it, he nodded with satisfaction. He then turned his back toward the stone and walked a 25 feet away from it. He stabbed one dagger forward then spun and threw the other at the rock. He jogged back over and ripped te metal out of the rock with diffuculty. It was dug in about half of the full legnth of the weapon. He then looked to April.
Rugen continued at the girl's dress. He cursed the dress maker for making it so difficult. However, he sensed that Din was tense beneath him. He kissed her longingly on the lips. He then pulled away when she didn't respond. "What is wrong?" He asked with his raspy voice. He wanted her... Something inside him just went wild... and he had to satisfy it.
Shadow got up shakily. His head was still spinning, not to mention the incesant pounding. "Damn.. you Dark..." He took a step forward to try and hit him, but he toppled back down in a mess. He glared as he got up again. He used the wall as support.
Liam sighed. "I guess that would make sense... Why don't you talk to Shadow? I have... a couple of things I want to check out..." He pulled her into a hug and kissed her lightly on the cheek. "Thank you Saya... you mean a lot to me..." He whispered as the swirling mists enveloped him. He appeared inside Helios' castle on the bottom floor. He sensed his father in the basement room. Where could he go? He then had an idea. He wondered what his own room looked like before he lived in it.

Kaze pulled Opal close and held her face in his chest. "Just don't look at him..." He muttered, then sent off his signal to Josline. The winds swirled gently around her as they gave the message. "Vaati is transforming again." The winds whispered as they blew around her, then back to Kaze's position.
