My reasons against it being I believe that all people have some kind of potential, and entry into the service puts one's potential at risk. In other words, I value my own potential too highly to go to war where I dislike the likelihood of my a** being blasted into nothingness. Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away! What if your potential truly lies in the service? There are countless jobs in the armed ofrces that don't require you to endanger yourself also.

Tonight is the night we become great!The Stars will show us the way! If my potential lies in the armed services (which personally, I believe is not where mine lies), then because I value the untapped potential and my life enough to stay away from the armed services, then it shall remain untapped.
The only real appeal of the army is simply the potential to get my schooling paid for me, and hell. Like the rest of the people in this country, I don't mind a little debt to keep me in tact. Tonight is the night we become Great! The Stars are what gave us away!
