Joslines ear's perked up, looking over at Kaze. "Oh, yeah... when theres no thunder..." She said, her ears folding back. "...I'm scared of thunder..." She said looking back outside.

Kaze tilted his head at Josline. "Scared of it?" He placed his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close. "Why's that?" He asked curiously.

"... I just don't like the noise..." Josline murmured when he pulled her close, luckily when he moved her it didn't effect her leg which was was keeping weight off of.

Kaze smiled at Josline. "I see." He gave her a calm, warm, reassuring look, as if to say 'I'll protect you'. "Do you feel a bit calmer with me here?" He asked. If holding Josline close meant her feeling safer, he was willing to sit there all night, just to let her feel secure.

Vaati stepped downstairs and simply glanced at Kaze and Josline awkwardly. He couldn't see details, but he knew coloues and shapes that made up people. He cursed his blindness as he continued downstairs. "Hmph..." Vaati sat down by the stairs, biting his lips tightly.
"I really appreciate all your help." Alyssa muttered, giving him a small, quick kiss on his cheek. She knew he had a thing for her, just by the way he was acting. She wanted to return the same feeling. If a kiss wasn't a big enough clue, she wouldn't know what was.
"I guess so... he doens't look to happy right now anyway. maybe later. Unless I can try it out on you?" Dark asked with a large smirk on his face. He snapped his fingers, curling the window around Shadow and slammed him against the closet wall. He held him there before he slammed him against the other wall, still using the wind. Dark laughed.
Darious warped himself into a different room, wrapping his arms around his chest as he curled up into a small ball. The pain hit him again, but he noticed it was beginning to go away.
Saya nodded in understandment as Seth leaned out towards Liam again. He shouted again, getting upset that he wasn't close enough to Liam. "Shh, shh, Seth. He's not your daddy."

Zathier was so shocked by Alyssa, that he didn't even feel the blush that had spread across his face. He slowly turned to look at her. "A-... Wha-... Uh..." He didn't know what to say. True, he had wanted Alyssa to notie how he felt, but he never expected her to kiss him at that moment. Zathier slowly regained his sense of self and shook his head. "You... kissed me..." He muttered. Apparently, he was still slightly dazed, but that soon wore off as he returned Alyssa's favor by giving her a kiss on her cheek.

Opal looked sadly as Vaati and then up at Josline and Kaze. She walked over and sat down next to Vaati. "Are your eyes still bothering you?" She asked, looking up at his red eyes.
Josline looked at Kaze, "Actually... I do... Thanks..." She murmured, leaning against his chest.

Alyssa turned bright red and simply hugged him, unsure of what else to do. It lasted for a while until she turned away to sneeze. Maybe she should go to bed? She sneezed again. "I think I might have caught a cold in the rain..." She mumbled quietly.
Vaati nodded. "It's alright though, maybe it'll make me stronger if I let them heal by themselves." He answered, glancing at his hands before he returned the glance.

Kaze squeezed Josline gently. "Then, I'll stay here for as long as you want me to." He said plainly. He wasn't even paying attention to what Opal and Vaati were talking about. He was too focused on making sure Josline felt safe and happy.
Zathier's mood quickly changed from happy to worried as he urged Alyssa to her bedroom. "Come on! You need to rest." He gently pushed her back to her bed and looked at her. "I'll be just outside this room if you need me." Zathier said as he started to walk out, but stopped and turned around. He walked back to Alyssa's bedside and stayed there. "Actually, I'll stay here for a while." He wasn't worried about getting a cold or anything. Him being an elf made him pretty much immune to most illnesses.

Alyssa laid her head on the pillow and quickly fell asleep. She was basically completly surrounded with poofy blankets, which kept her a little warmer than she would have like to be, but it wasn't too bad. "Good night, Zathier." She mumbled.

Opal looked at Vaati worried. She took his hand and gently held it. "Alright... if... that's what you want Vaati." She murmured, still holding his hand in hers.
Josline looked back out the window. Seeing a flash of light, her eyes widening. But she wasn't quick enough to cover her ears, there was a loud crack of thunder, Josline yelped and jumped, clinging to Kaze, her whole body shaking.

Zathier smiled at Alyssa and sat down on a cylindrical shape he had made out of the earth right before he landed on it. "Good night, Alyssa." He said as he kept watch over her.
Kaze looked at Josline and chuckled a bit. "It's alright." he wrapped his other arm around her to see if it would give her more comfort. "I will always be here for you." Kaze stated calmly.
(Well... bedtime.)

Josline felt his other arm wrap around her. She felt her body slowly stop shaking, breathing. "1... 2... 3... 4... 5..." She said, seeing another flash and covered her ears again and heard a explosion of thunder. She continued counting again under a shaky voice.

Kaze smiled at Josline. "You don't have to be afraid. I'll protect you." He said as he moved one hand to cover her ear, then pulled her head closer so that her other ear was being muffled by his chest.

Josline blinked when he cover ed her ears. Feeling his chest against his other ear, she could faintly hear the pounding of his heart. There was another flash, but even as her heart rushed, there was a faint sound of crashing thunder. Quickly under her breath she counted once again. She reached ten before there was another flash, but no sound. She was guessing the storm was moving on, and the thunder was becoming faint. She counted up until fifty before she knew the storm had finally passed, looking outside at the rain. She felt... embarrassed that something so little could make her frighted, it was something she always grew up with. It was a fear that had been with her since childhood. But she didn't move from Kaze's arms, suddenly her eyes closed, dropping off into a sleep. Her face buried against Kaze's chest, her breathing soft.
