Leopold sighed. "(we will. Goodbye, my new pupil)" he said.

Eric nodded and took the phone back. "You gave in didn't you?" he said to his father.
Leopold laughed. "What's the worst that can happen?"
"She could be secretly out to kill you,"
"This is me that you're talking about. The best damn warrior you know,"
"Assassins are not to be messed with,"
"You think i haven't dealt with that before? Certain people have wanted to dethrone me from my championship,"
"So iI am supposed to drop her off then?"
"Yep. Don't worry, I'm sure i could take her out if the need arises,"
"Fine. I may just end up overseeing the training,"
"You need to brush up on your staff anyway kid. The sword has made your mind to singular,"
"Tch, You're not going to bring back that ridiculous training gear are you?"
"Don't give me ideas kid. I'll see you there," leopold said hanging up. Eric sighed and put the phone down.
"Looks like i'm driving you there. Pack your stuff. We leave tomorrow," he said to reiko. He lightly kissed Kirune on the cheek. "I promise you, this time i will return. I don't want to put you through that again Kirune," he said.
(let's hope this doesn't end up a cheap karate kid knockoff rofl )

Eric sighed and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I swear this to you on my life," he said seriously. "Once I get back, I will treat us all to a day of fun in the sun on destiny islands. No distractions, no attacks, nothing but relaxation and blue waters. Won't that be worth the wait?" he said smiling. My heart and muscles could probably use it anyway. I'm stressed beyond belief here, he thought. He slipped an envelope into kirune's hands then looked to reiko. "Then I'll race you there. Lets go!" He laughed.

"I will," Eric said running off.
On the envelope it read: "For our girl's eyes only," in Eric's handwriting.

Inside the envelope were two pictures. One of Eric and one of Lawrence.
Below the pictures was a note. "In case of our extended abscence, Just have a look at these and you won't be lonely. We shall return.

From: The crushing blade and the healing thief. Eric fringe and Lawrence geffaltmir"

Eric arrived in the room. "I'm back. The party can begin now," he said sarcastically. He placed his suitcase down and put his keys back in his shoe compartment.
Lawrence didn't look up from the book he was reading. "just when I was starting to have fun,"
"You missed me?"
"more like we were bored out of our minds. I need mental stimulation here,"
"Have you tried chess?"
"haha. Let's get started on that beach vacation,"
"How do you know about that? Did kirune tell you?"
"calm down mr. Paranoid. You promised the same thing to cordinia before you left her. You also wrote it down in a notebook,"
"You really ought to not look through other's things,"
"I can't help my thieving tendencies. It's all I know. Is how I met you isn't it?"
"And I whipped you thoroughly,"
"we tied and you know it," he said. Eric sighed and walked up to kirune. He hugged her.

Eric smiled and held kirune close.
Lawrence looked up from his book. "Get a bloody room you two,"
Eric looked back at lawrence. "Need i remind you you're in mine? Where's your girl anyway?"
"No idea man. Probably walking the dog or something,"
Eric shrugged and looked back to kirune.
