Well it's not my money. My parents will pay to fix it. It's supposed to be cheap anyway, since they're only doing some souped-up virus scan which only costs a few hours labour and takes one day. Unfortunately, my mom forgot to take my laptop in, so I have to wait another week to get it fixed, since I need it during exam week.

I think that I have a virus. I've investigated and found the over a dozen copies of the file that Windows is reporting missing. Plus, I've done some virus scans and one of them points towards one of my anti-virus programs being infected. That would explain why it just suddenly happened. stare

Well I'm sure that their programs can get infected to. It also happens to be a program that supposedly uses the file that my computer keeps reporting as missing. stare
