Mercutio decided to shift into his cat form. He never seen another half-breed like him before. He was a small cat with calico coloured fur. He ran over where eh saw two more cats; one grey and the other orange.
What's your reason for being here? Denji hissed. He was slightly territorial and protective of Askari. The cat was male.

Askari stayed behind Denji with her ears against her head, then looked at the house behind them. Shush, Impa might hear us. She has keen hearing, I know. Even at her age... she mewed quietly, stepping forward. What's your name? she asked.

...Mercutio... He took a step back, his ears dropping. The grey one was huge compared to him; he was afraid of upsetting him and getting his butt kicked by the bigger cat.
Right... Impa has good senses... He meowed, his hissing toning down considerably.

Kaylene sneezed again, waking her up this time. She wrinkled her nose and sat up. She slid out of bed, her hair trailing behind. She looked out the window and saw three cats. She recognized the odd feelings of the ones she met earlier, but there was a new one she didn't recognize. It was a scent she liked, but couldn't really compare it to something she had known before. She gazed out the window trying to decided whether or not she should meet the new character.

Askari sat down, trying not to scare the other cat away - Mercutio. I'm Askari. she meowed with a cat-ish grin. The orange cat motioned toward the gray one. And this is Denji...he's nice once you get to know him. she shrugged her small shoulders. Isn't that right, love? she grinned at him, hoping he'd bakc off a bit.

Kaylene decided that she would invade... but only close enough to spy on them. She wanted to get a closer look at the newcomer. She swung her feet out of the window and saw a well. Perfect! that will work just fine! Kaylene took a string of her magic and called the water to her. The water came in a long strip. Then Kaylene blew on the water, freezing it. The water now form a small slide that came out of the window. She slid down it silently and ordered the frozen water back to the well. She tiptoed behind another building, hoping she didn't catch their attention. She looked on and saw the new cat was smaller then Denji, but still strong. She smiled. If he was a shape shifter also, she wanted to know what he looked like. His feeling in her mind was so intriguing, she just couldn't put her finger on it. She just didn't know how to describe it. She poked her head out, letting some her long hair and a couple of her ruffles on her dress swoop out into view. She saw everything perfectly. The moon was shining bright casting shadows with in the shadows.

That didn't make him feel much better about Denji. He still appeared angry at him, and he couldn't tell why Denji would be so vicious. Last he checked, he hadn't done anything wrong. Wait, did she call him love? Denji, I don't want your girlfriend, if that's what what you're growling at me for... Mercutio took another step back.
That's a relief. Denji meowed as his viciousness completely melted. He dug himself a little dirt patch and rolled around in the mud. Completely innocent now.

Askari rolled her eyes and laid down, putting her chin on her paws. Talk about overreactive. She rolled her eyes and mewed in a teasing tone.

Denji sat up and licked her cheek. You're not a male kitty, so I don't know if you would understand. Denji meowed in a matter-of-fact tone.
Mercutio suddenly shift forms and he grabbed Denji by the fur of his neck and picked him up. "It's that big of a deal. I'm only 15, you two must be like... 25!" He hissed, tapping Denji on the nose. Denji reared back, trying to escape from the nose taps. Impa used to do that too.

Kaylene gasped as she saw the odd cat shapeshift in a young man. She observed his features and smiled. He was tall and handsome. She smiled; he seemed kind of laid back. "I wonder what his name is... or whether he has noticed me spying." She said to herself with a laugh. Kaylene sighed when she felt sleep pulling at her eyelids, but ignored it. She wanted to find out more about the new comer. She wrinkled her nose feeling another set of sneezes come on. "Oh gosh.. hope this doesn't blow cover.." She winced and started sneezing. After 5th one, she fell out in the open, her eyes watering. Kaylene then turned to wall embarrassed. She leaned while she tried to wipe her face so the other wouldn't see.
