**Figure of speech...I just have to come up with something to do with this thread...I'd hate to just kill it now...I wanted to keep the story going for a whole year...let's hop onto another thread, and relax a bit...or make a new one**

**Ye know... I kind of agree with ye... Ai absorbing that essence could make for an interesting undercurrent... Pasa's emmerging mage craft.... the girls growing up... but they can also be so divergent as to be difficult to follow.... for now, Kero is healing, the void is at a tentative peace letting Rhea and the little ones have some time together for a change, the kiddies are all swimming their hearts out. Em is taking a nap on his ledge in the pool room... and the least said about what Bez and Ai are doing, the better.... blaugh blaugh blaugh **

**Yep...so let's give them a week or so to relax...pick up with, say, Pasa's emergence into Magecraft...meanwhile, let's...I don't know...let's check on Luna or something like that....maybe make a new thread...**

Pasa knows him instantly by Kero's aural scent and is up in a flash, picking him up and carrying him to his blanket. "You should be in bed." he grumbles, but he is glad for the company. "Even if you look like something my old master would have cooked fer his breakfast."

Pasa chuckles. "Sorry... but all the lesser brethren, even those of the poisonous bent, were considered fair game to the hunters of our tribe... Actually the poisonous ones were doubly so. Anyway, how are you feeling?" he asks closing his book.
Glancing at the cover, Kero can see it's a treatise on water magic, no doubt loaned to the serpentine by Emnast as it doesn't seem to be one from his library... a bit too new and written by someone he doesn't recognize.
