Tam sighs. "Great... earthy mates... the both of them... well, we could always go fer a swim with Granddad... that should cool us off. I'd help ye, kiddo... but well, it's a little too much like those damn dreams I've been having fer me to feel comfortable doin anything even closely resembling that. Sorry.

Tam smiles thinly at him. "I don't... not really... it more of a matter he reads me... here.." he says pointing to his head. "And here..." he touches his chest. "He comes when my need is greatest... when I need him most... then disappears. There's trouble between us, Taro... big trouble... I love him with all my heart, but until he accepts and understands a few things... nothing is going to happen... and he knows it... only he won't talk to me about any of it..." He sighs and drains his cup, pouring more hot water over the tea leaves in the bottom of his mug before continuing. "It's ancient history, Kero. My history to be honest... and his... It really doesn't involve ye. Though, I'll be honest... he's shown his face more and more since I've taken on the care of ye... Iffin I didn't know better, I'd say he was jealous..."

Tam chuckles. "Think about it... we groom each other, bathe together and ye sleep in my bed, snuggling far closer than he's gotten the chance to do since... well since the fall... iffin ye get my drift. And... to make things worse... I basically told him to go take a hike, that I had to be with you, not him...." He lifts a graceful brow and sighs. "not a good mix, ye know..."

"Be my guest..." laughs Tam sourly... "And while yer at it, tell him it's his turn to wear the skirts... " grumbles Tam testily. "Let him deal with the backfiring magics of shapeshifting fer a change."

Tam does a headsmack and practically falls over himself following the lion into the garden. "Kero... Kero... don't..."

Tam stumbles to a halt and wraps his arms about himself. "Nothing... nothing... ye look well, Bez..." he mutters sullenly.

Tam shuffles his feet a bit and looks at the ground. "I... I was just blowing off steam, dulcha... yer always the big tough, strong one...." he whispers grumpily.

Tam snorts through his nose. "It's good to know I have value for something in his heart these days. Though how it went from... you hate me.... you don't love me anymore to let's trade Sira's comfort level for a night with my lady... kind of blows my mind." He glares at the oblivious lion and sighs. "Can you find her for him? Truly? Ferget about me... I'll live.. but he's... he's been pretty miserable since she popped in on him at his party, then hightailed it out of there like the tease she is."

Bez shrugs. "I could try.... I only have a plethora of multiverses to dig through to find one tiny blue/green Dragon Lady with a menagerie that could easily populate a small planet... How hard can it be? Ye do realize I'm going to demand payment once I'm through, don't ye? I don't work fer free... and my terms are binding."

"It's not my contract. Deal with Kerobian. He's the one who summoned ye." says Tam turning to go back inside. Suddenly he is facing Bezernia rather than a door.

"Even if his terms involve you?" the shadowy figure prompts with a knowing smirk.

Tam glares at him. "I refuse to wear a skirt and that is final."

Bez smiles wickedly at him. "My terms are simple... sort of... iffin he wants me to find his woman, you will have to embrace parenthood fully... none of this playing around, pretending and such... ye will bear a child to the dominant male of yer pride... or.... yer mine for a night... sun down to sun up... period, no arguments, no complaints."

Tam stares at him... "And if I refuse?" he asks in a cold voice.

"Then the two of ye will just have to suffer on yer own... with no input from me." says Bez in an equally cold voice. "I'm tired of playing games, Ai... the ball is in yer court now."

**Sorry... but the Bez of this era is not the same Bez of the other... he's got more than a few grudges to bear and well... he's not the Prince of Smoke and Shadow fer nothing, ye know... had to play him as he should be played... I mean... he cares for Tam, but those dang dreams Tam has been having have been driving him batty... in more ways than one. He's got a serious case of the green eyed monster and well, iffin ye think Kero is having problems... yer barking up the wrong tree.... in all honesty, he's fully expecting both Kerobian and Tam to refuse... Ye don't want to do a job, make the price of it so high no one is willing to pay.**
