Alysa's dress was soaked by the time she crawled into his hole. "There you are! I was worried." She mumbled, hugging her chest to keep some of the shivers down. As soon as she knew if Zathier was alright and after the puppies were okay, she could change her clothing and sink into her warm bed. The more she thought of the bed, the more she wanted to be there.

April looked back at Darious, how did he know about the black in her magic. When he picked her up his cold hands touched her warm arms making her shiver a little. But she did what he instructed to stay as calm as she could. Feeling his cold hands on her neck and shoulders. She felt fear running down her spine, looking back up Darious wondering if this would hurt. She can't remember if she's ever felt pain before. Then remembered falling out of her mother and fathers arms when she wanted to go somewhere. And the time she tripped over the rubble of Castle Town, scraping her hands and knees. But that really hadn't hurt. She became curious and then suddenly she didn't notice Darious' cold hand.

Zathier looked at Alyssa, then looked away. "Idiot! Now look at what you did! She's drenched because you didn't let her in sooner!" His thoughts were pounding away at him. "Sorry, I had to ask Opal something." He explained.

Darious closed his eyes and began the same process, drawing the shadow out of her and into his own body. He wasn't surprised when his hands turned black from the magic, but he was surprised by the pain. Why was it so much more painful now than earlier? He nearly let go, but instead,chomped down on his lips and continued. "April, let's see a spell." He murmured quickly when the darkness reached halfway up to his elbows.
Alyssa looked at her curiously. "About- never mind... we should get the puppies out of the rain." She mumbled. If he had to go off by himself, it would for a reason he can't or won't tell me. Alyssa thought sadly as she peeked out of the hole.

Zathier nodded, wanting to get off the subject quick. "I can make an underground pen for them." He suggested, shfiting the earth around so that it had the shape of a wide room with a make-shift earth pen in the middle. "Um, I could make another room and bed down here if you want to sleep here." Zathier suggested, trying to take Opal's advice and leave hints here and there.

Silver watched Darious absorb the shadow magic out of her daughter. She looked at April almost fearfully, but she looked like she was blocking out the pain with her own curiosity, April was completely calm when Darious finished his work.
April looked at Darious, then saw black up to his elbows. It looked like it was paining him. Her ears folded back. "Are you alright?" She asked, looking up at him, reading his mind of his curiosity of why it hurt him so much when he helped April than with Arious.

Arious watched his shadow as he placed his hands on April's shoulders. It looked as if he would squeeze the life right out of her. "Just hurry up.. before it gets worse... please..."
Liam looked at the baby sadly. In a way he liked the babe.. but he felt rejected. He quickly handed him to Saya. Maybe he knows now that I am different..." He crossed his arms. The baby was very cold, even compared to Liam. Liam had always been cold to the touch, but that babe had gave him the chills.
Shadow shook his head. "Ah I see.. But I am surprised you play tricks on Darious... He WAS your partner in crime for a while..." Shadow crossed his arms. he wanted to make sure Lisaya was okay... but he knew that Helios was a great healer and would take care of her. Yet... the thoughts made him angry.
Rugen shook his head laughing. "Indeed. I shall get you. You must tire eventually.. Or get lost... In either case, I shall win!" He enjoyed playing this chasing game, even though he could just win it if he wanted to. All he had to do was use his manipulative powers and take control of her body. Or he could just warp in front of her and use his gaze to freeze her in her tracks. However he simply turned and ran after her.

"I'm almost done, jeez." Darious muttered, sensing and draining the last of the Shadow out, but with a price it appeared. He felt the biggest wave of pain hit him yet. He screamed out in pain and fell back into the love seat. Why did it hurt so much this time? Were the shadows more attached to her than Arious. He screamed out again.
"Darious needs to be taught a lesson sometimes, that's all." Dark murmured, forming a ball of wind in his hands. "I think I can do more than finish his drink though." He smirked.
Seth cried out again, refusing to leave his arms until Saya claimed him. He sat comfortable in her arms. "You don't have to look so rejected. Your body temperature would be a lot warm that Seth's."
Alyssa thought hard. "I would love too, I really would, but I think I need my bed toni- achoo!" She shivered as she sneezed. She didn't think she was out in the rain enough get sick, but apparently, she did.
Vaati yawned again and slowly opened his eyes. He felt better than he had been feeling lately from his lack of sleep. Vaati rolled onto his back and glanced up at Opal's blurry face.

Zathier instantly ran over to Alyssa. "No, you don't need to go back out in that storm!" He walked over and punched a wall, creating an entirely new bedroom. "Come, you can sleep in here. I will get your blankets." Zathier explained, not even giving her the option of going back to her room. He, basically, forced her to the bed and laid her down. Then, using his elven speed, he ran inside and grabbed some of her sheets and blankets. Zathier quickly hurried back, speeding through the rain, into his hole. He covered the hole up and ran back to Alyssa. He threw some blankets on her and relaxed a small bit. Zathier had been running too fast for the blankets to get wet, so Alyssa had some dry covers to rest under.

April looked over at his father. He looked worried like Darious was going to do something to her. But she was even more worried for Darious. She was sure his thoughts had been telling her that he had been in pain. She looked back up at him with worry in his eyes. How could she help him? She didn't even know if he was human or not. She could heal wounds, but she was unsure on how to remove pain.She listen to him scream, her ears folding back. "No, no stop!" she shouted, grabbing his hand and pulling them off of her, she moved to slide out of his arms. To make the pain stop. To stop the pain for Darious.
Silver looked at Darious worried. Something thudded in her heart, making her rush over to his side. "Are you alright?" She asked her voice full of worry.
Diness continued to laugh while Rugen chased her. "That won't happen so soon! And what about you, you'll tire out soon too!" Din laughed back at him. But he was right, she couldn't run forever, she needed turn this game from Tag, to Hide and Seek.
Opal was sleeping peacefully against the pillow. She didn't even stir when Vaati moved in her lap. She sighed, moving her head and slipped into a deeper sleep.

Alyssa smiled softly as she wrapped her blankets around herself. She figured that the old couple would be back by tomorrow afternoon since they tended to stay at their friend's for the night. They didn't get out much, so they made it worth it when the could. "Zathier... can you still run fast if he held me? I don't think you would like to get me some dry clothes..."
Vaati stepped up to her carefully and pawed her cheeks, hoping to wake her up. He felt guilty, but his emotions didn't let him stop. He wanted to go out; take his mind off the stupid voice and Opal was the only one that would go with him. He was sure Kaze hated him, Josline was injured and Ezlo was impractical to drag around...
