"That. . .that's something my old language arts teacher would say," Alex shuddered. "She'd be angry one second and happy the next. It was just plain creepy!" He forced himself to stop thinking about it. He took his necklace out of his pocket and put it around his neck. "I think it's safe to use this. For now, anyway. And if not? Then, well. . .I've had worse injuries," he shrugged.

Shin laughed "Great I remind you of a creepy old english teacher! Thank you lex I feel so complimented" he said smirking at the boy shaking his head "Its fine to use that thing, im not so worried about it" he said keeping himself from glaring at the thing, glad alex was atleast in a good mood.

"You feel complimented? You better be sarcastic there," Alex said, a little surprised. He grinned before stretching his arms a little bit, then looking up at the sky again. "And to think; I probably wouldn't even be here. Life, I have come to learn, can be both cruel and helpful. Mostly cruel, though," he added, walking over to the railing and looking over it at the ground.

Shin hopped up on the railing glancing at alex "Well yeah im being sarcastic, I dont wanna be compared to some creepy old lady!" he said laughing watching alex "Only cruel and helpful lex? Your forgetting to add in the 'fun' part to that sentence, or maybe the 'love' part. Even when everything is hell it can still be fun, sir pessimist shesh.." he said smiling "You havent had much of a life have you lex? Were going to have to fix that you know, maybe send you and yuri out to some exotic location, that should keep you both busy" he said glancing to the ground still happy.

"I am not! And believe me, I will push you off this balcony. Doubt that'd do anything expect make me feel a little better, though." Alex shook his head, tightening his grip on the railing. "My life was pretty much taken from me. Why? I haven't figured that out. And an exotic location with Yuri? Sheesh, do you hate us?" He laughed before hopping over it, landing on the ground below neatly. "Come on. Let's head out somewhere."

Shin leaped down after the boy "I try to send you on a vacation and you think I hate you? Nah I just think it would be fun!" he said laughing "Well theres nothing to worry about lex cause were going to get all the rest of your life back for you, its not like your dead yet" he said following the boy "Freedom time with the pessimist! Sounds like fun to me, so where to lex?" he asked happily.

"Give me a break, will you?" Alex sighed, putting his hands in his pocket. 'You know what? One day, you're going to have to remind me to tell you all about what happened when I was a kid. You seem so eager for it anyway. How about. . .we head over to a beach or something?" the boy suggested, not really sure anymore. "I don't know. Where ever works, I guess."

Shin laughed "Fine fine Ill leave it be kay? And yes I would love to hear that story lex, that would answer so many questions about you" he said as he started walking "Beach...hmm..which one which one..oh I know, were headed to ascalon kay!" he said finally starting off in that direction "Gonna have fun, even if it kills you lex"

Tohru stirred in his bed, opening his eyes. He still felt a little out of it but he managed to push himself up into a sitting position. He looked out towards the window, looking at the dark sky. "Ah. . .slept for a day, huh?" he said sleepily, stretching before falling back into the bed, not wanting to get up just yet. He had long-since changed out of his blood-soaked clothes and he felt like he wasn't regaining any energy at all. "Geez. Wonder how Alex put up with all this blood-loss. 'Cause it's getting to me," he chuckled, taking a deep breath then sitting up again, this time managing to get out of bed and walked over to the window, opening it.
Tohru couldn't help but smile at the sight of the stars, resting his arms on the window sill and enjoying the night air. He couldn't help but feel a little lonely, though, with the house actually empty. He wasn't used to it, and nor did he like it. "I think I can get why Alex stayed here. The towns haven't changed a bit."

Phyc walked outside the house,making enough noise to make Vern wake up.Phyc walked away slowly, his mood unknown.He just kept walking away from the area.Vern watched him curiously,wondering what he was up to.He turned around forgeting about it and walked over to the bed Sap was at.Vern gently and carefully grabbed the sleeping boy and held him tight as he walked out the house also.He didn't have a house or anything and hadn't eaten...but he was more concerned about Sap.He thought and headed toward Shin's house.Hopefully they would let him in..or at least let Sap stay with them until he found a house to live in.

Mikarou arrived at Tohru's house and found that Shin's scent went further than that. He kept running on and Yukiko was following him. She had to run too because Mikarou wasn't slowing down any time soon. They dashed right past the house, ut they tried to do it quietly.

Tohru walked out of his bedroom having dazed out, only not realizing the blue sky. It didn't bother him, but he was hungry, heading downstairs to the kitchen to get something to eat. He looked around the kitchen, eventually just getting a couple pieces of toast and putting them in the toaster and waiting.
Alex arrived at the house, stopping at the back door. For some reason, he didn't really want to enter for one reason or another. But, after all, he had to tell Tohru. . .right? The man would find out anyway. He took a deep breath and sighed, putting his hand on the doorknob and turning it, walking into the house cautiously. He didn't expect to see Tohru in the kitchen at all, though he was glad that he was alright, at least, giving the man a small smile and walking in, closing the door behind him.
Tohru blinked, looking at Alex and wondering what he was doing here. Not that he minded; he was quite glad to see the boy again. "Well, well. So you've returned. Forget something?" he asked, returning the smile.
"Y-Yeah, sort of," Alex said, forcing a small laugh. This would be a lot harder than he originally thought. "Um. . .any chance you've still got some spare clothes? Kindda. . .need 'em."
"You don't have to ask, you know that, right?"
"R-Right!" Without another word, Alex walked out of the kitchen and upstairs towards the bedroom he'd been occupying while staying here, opening the closet and pulling out a fresh change of clothes. "How am I gonna tell him. . .?" he asked himself, undressing and changing into the clean clothes. Something caught his attention as he was about to put on the new shirt; a lil scar on the center of his chest in the shape of a snake. He blinked, shaking his head and looking again, not finding it. "My mind's playing tricks on me, huh?"
"Strange kids." Tohru shook his head, getting out the toast from the toaster and putting it on a plate, getting out turkey next and putting a couple slices onto the bread before just picking up the sandwich and eating it, heading into the living room.
Alex tried to fix his hair as best he could, but glancing in a mirror he noticed it was still the same, messy mop as always. Ignoring it, he looked at the change of clothes he was in; a pair of jeans and a black shirt. Somehow, he was pleased with his choice and walked out of the bedroom, back to the stairs and sitting there behind the banisters, watching Tohru from his position. "Yeah. . .how do you tell someone you're getting married?" he wondered aloud, thinking a little.
Tohru finished his sandwich after another few minutes, looking at the stairs and at Alex, wondering what he was doing. "You're acting strange. You alright?" he asked, giving the boy a curious look.
"Eh? Ah, y-yeah," Alex answered, snapping out of his thoughts.
"Liar."
"Am not!"
Tohru laughed and so did Alex, being reminded of the past a little bit. It wasn't for another minute or so that Tohru got up and walked over to Alex, sitting next to the boy on the stairs. "So, seriously. What's up?"
Alex hesitated a little bit. "Promise not to laugh?"
"Promise."
Alex stayed quiet again, looking in front of him and unable to face the man next to him. Then, after taking a deep breath in an attempt to calm down, he said: "I'm. . .engaged." He purposely held the black feather in his hand, twirling it every-so often for something to do, mainly.
If Tohru had anything in his hands, he'd have probably dropped it. He looked at Alex, a look of utter belief on his face. He tried to find some hint of lying on the boy's face but, seeing how nervous he was, made him discard that though. Without warning, he punched the boy in the arm, though he was grinning.
"Ouch! What the hell?!" Alex looked at Tohru, confused and putting a hand where he'd been hit. The guy had punched him, yet he was grinning. "What'd you do that for?"
"Congrats! You b*****d, when'd this happen?" Tohru asked, feeling pretty happy for the boy.
"When? Ah. . .a week ago, actually," Alex said quietly, setting the feather down beside him. "I'm. . .actually pretty happy that she even said yes. I dunno," he sighed, looking up at the ceiling, trying to find words to describe it. "I love her. A lot. But. . .I'm always afraid of hurting her."
Tohru blinked. Then he put his hand on Alex's shoulder, smiling a little. "You might very well end up hurting her. I'm sure all you want is for her to be happy, but that's the exactly what she wants as well. And you're kindda not helping with that with all the hesitation. So ease up a lil, 'kay? 'Sides, you're gonna fail as a father if you're so nervous." He had to laugh as Alex blushed, his grin growing a little bigger. "Come on, you didn't think of that?"
"N-Not really."
"Yikes. Hopeless case, aren't you?" Tohru shrugged, getting up and turning to head upstairs. "I would go and help plan out that wedding. Pick out who's gonna help, the decorations. . .hell, you don't want anything you wouldn't like. That'd make it really bad." Snickering, the man headed upstairs to the balcony, taking a cigarette and lighter out of his pocket and lighting the cigarette.
Alex sat there a moment longer before, admitting that Tohru had a point, getting up and heading down the stairs, out the front door. He lingered there for a minute before just heading off to Yuri's, wanting to see the girl again.

Roan was up at the house, spotting tohru on the balcony as he flew up to the man looking, for the first time a bit panicked "Tohru, tohru we need to go now okay" he said landing barely on the balcony, wanting to leave right now "Enzai is going to kill sasha...we can save her though I just know it..." he said giving the man a half smile though he knew it looked forced, he was a little worried about shin but sure the boy could handle himself "Enzai said theyed be at the grave yard...we have to get there..." he said taking a deep breath to calm himself "Ne..its been a shity day...b*****d had to go and attack her..put her to sleep and then dragged her off"

Tohru coughed a little, taking the cigarette away from his mouth as he looked at Roan, trying to find a hint of lying. But the guy was so panicked! And he definitely wouldn't kid about something like this. "I can tell it's been shitty. Alright then, you lead," he said, putting out the cigarette before transforming.
