[[ We''l pretend this is the weekend I planned to post on before I took my Hiatus from the RP ]]
Thomas shifted side to side as the two starred at the box and eventually took some waffers. Thomas could tell something was wrong with Nina, she looked like she was fighting a grin. Then Garath walked into the room and the two bursted out in laughter, a few pieces of nilla wafer fell from their motuhs, a couple nearly made it to Thomas.
To feel less awkward he let out a fake laugh under his breath, not really understand what was so funny. But what was laughter quickly turned into serious business. Nina wrote a quick note and discussed our transportation with Terry. All the while Thomas had the feeling that something was going to go horribly wrong.
When Nina asked for voulenteers as for who was going to be shooting and who would be changing the tires, Thomas made the quick decision to be a shooter. He didn't like guns but he didn't have a f*cking clue when it came to cars.
"Nina, I think I'll shoot." Thomas sighed. He faced Terry who was leaning against the wall.
"Sorry Terry, I'm going to have to help from behind the scenes this time. I just don't have the energy to get in another fi-"
Thomas felt dizzy all of the sudden, everything was getting dark. He stumbled a couple of times trying to get his footing, but to no avail. His legs buckled and he almost fell. He could tell he was passing out.
Before he hit the ground he caught himself and took a deep breath. He let it out with a long sigh.
"s**t... I guess it's worse than I thought."
Thomas sat down fearing that it might happen again. But he could slowly tell he was becoming more aware.
"I think I'll be okay."
[[If this post was too small it's because I've kind of forgotten what's going on right now. I plan on becoming more frequent.
Also, Kagome, I thought it was cool that I decided to post on the day you got your internet fixed. Just so you now. I didn't plan it out like that.]]

Nina continued to look at everyone intently for everyone looked worse for ware. No one had gotten enough sleep. The infected bombardment had occurred before anyone could grasp enough energy. The group had been running on adrenaline. However, now that the majority of the infected were quieted, burning, or banging on the building with no avail to entering, everyone was being lulled out of the rush. The sunlight was also no helping; it reminded everyone just how much sleep they all didn’t get. Crimson finally spoke up and she looked ready to pass out.
"Thanks..." Nina said with a nod, trying to pull back on the sarcastic edge to her voice. She still didn't want to do this. Maybe it's best... If the cramps are from her period... Then the zombies will be attracted by the scent of blood, eh? she thought. "But, I rather you not... You don't look so good. But, anyways, the fast we get this done the quicker we can get the hell out of here and to Walmart." She paused looking to Jain. Jain gave her a cheesy, nervous grin. "Ah... Well then. Crimson, you and Jain can... Keep lookout on the window and tell me if anything’s coming from behind.” Her attention shifted to Thomas as he spoke. "Oh? Great! From the window... Keep him room you two." Nina said looking back to Jain and Crimson. Jain gave a quick nod.
"Sh*t! I don't want to do this! But I have too!" Nina whined immaturely. "Sergeant Phillips, you're coming with me, right? I can't switch the tire quick enough by myself... I can't fend off many zombies by myself either..." She mumbled the last part. She put her foot on the windowsill and made to push off at any second just waiting for a ‘yes’ or ’no’ from Terry.

[[Short post is short. But none the less, I thought it was necessary since we were about to take a jump into action without properly explaining as to how I obtain a gun. I didn't want to say that I took Terry's because Silver implied that he had plans for it. Btw, this explaination is longer than the post.]]
As Nina planned out this next jump towards escape, Thomas relized that a key component of the plan was missing.
"Nina, I need a gun."
Said Thomas with a "._. ..." look on his face.
Wow, the lack of sleep is getting to everybody. We're definalty taking shifts once we get to Walmart.

Crimson nodded, and placing her swords on her back, she stood next to the window, looking out but also looking in.

[[sorry for the long wait, I was waiting for Metzl.. but since she appears to be held up by something, I'll post]] David was too preoccupied to see most of what was going on. His brain was just on his wife, shutting the door, and his son. Alex had nearly the same thing on his mind. Sarah was making sure the bandages held up properly. David shot one infected after another, trying to make his way towards the front door. Along the way he tripped on the beads that were scattered on the floor. He accidentally shot four bullets, one of which skimmed right over the top of most of the group. Alex looked at his dad. Sarah doesn't, as her son looked away she kept her eyes open for any infected. David looked at Alex, and finally got fed up with it. "We need to close off the doors!" David said, his leadership abilities finally taking root, even so slightly.

[[Gah!!! >_< I am a hypocrite!!!]]
Eri's eyes went wide as she was suddenly yanked back with great force. "G..Gah..!" She said, falling over, the pain less prominent than it would be if she fell full force, but still slightly painful. "Ow..." She said. She rubbed her back and looked at Alex. As she was lifted by Ada, a pale blush came on her face that if she was normal would be a deep shade of crimson. "Well..." She said, composing herself. "David's right, we gotta close off the doors or we're doomed..." She said, looking to David, , then walking over and holding out her hand. "Do you need Help David...?" She asked, smiling slightly. She didn't wanna seem useless, seeing as she was to scared to use the gun, so helping David up may be a way to help. One small step at a time.....

Nina almost fell forward and out of the window if she didn't grab the windowsill at the last second. She ended up swinging around a little and hitting her shoulder to the edge of the window. She looked back and Thomas with an incredulous look on his face. "Are you serious?!" She asked in an aggravated whisper. She was slightly aware of Crimson getting in position. She wiped a hand over her face in an exasperated manner, while her other hand still held on to the edge of the window. "Sergeant Phillips...? Couldn't you let him borrow a gun or something?" she said twisting forward and to the side at Terry. As the awkwardness of the situation dragged on Jain quickly shuffled next to Crimson. She gave the girl a quick smile before looking out the window. The flames were still burning outside, however the the bodies of the infected it was being fueled on where close to complete ash. Only the oil was left and that would be gone soon. She quickly piped up about the flames. She said they should probably do this quickly before they went out. The fire already looked oddly out of place in the bright sunlight of the early day. The freshest of the oil, that Nina had tossed out their not to long ago, was the brightest burning of them. The bits of glass from the flaming bottles Garath threw could also be seen, reflecting sunlight and flame light in weird directions. The Molotov cocktails had rekindled a lot of the flames as well. However, it was still in the risk of being put out. "Anyways," Nina began "It would be great of everyone, as soon as the tire is put on the truck, for everyone to just come down as fast you guys can. Take the weapon bag with you Jain and I guess either Crimson, Garath, or you can take the little bit of food and medicine." She said to Thomas. "Get into the truck and we'll just roll out. I rather not run into that thing that roars as deep as the bass of metal concert..." This was actually the first time since the infection hit that Nina was going to step foot outside of her house. It was nerve raking. She threw the weapons bag in Jain's general direction. Jain caught the bag with a light 'oof,' it was heavy.
"Oh my God! I'm sorry you guys!" Kalila said quickly as she saw Eri and Ada get off the floor. A few moments later David tripped over some of the beads as well. "I'm sorry!!!" Kalila repeated a little nervously, gripping to her katana tightly. The bracelet saved my life and risked those of my friends... God! I just can't win! she thought looking down at her bruise-covered legs. Nikita's eyes went wide when he heard and felt a bullet zing past the top of his head. He quickly exclaimed that he had only been joking about the 'suck it' thing and David shouldn't have taken it so personally. Nicholas laughed and shook his head at Nikita. "No man, it was an accident. He tripped over some of the beads." He said pointing at the floor. Nikita just acted like nothing had happened and continued on with what he was saying. He said he was glad that David agreed, but he needed to calm down. He told David that if he didn't calm down the situation would only get worse. He mumbled something about how he bet they could smell fear. Kalila thought about the comment a little more. Smell fear...? That wouldn't surprise me. People give off pheromones when they're scared right... I bet they latch on to that stuff. "Yeah! Bu what about the other people?" Kalila asked David. "Are we going to put the P.A. system outside for them to communicate with us? I'm not leaving them out their in danger!" She barked, her stubbornness out for the world to see.
((Grawr! It's a bad post! Please, forgive me. I didn't want to leave Metzli behind. Plus, I really don't have as much inspiration without a post from her... ^_^'... -_-'...))

Gah sorry guys. I have a month of solid exams coming up and I won't be on much if at all. So just assumed Mizuki realised he couldn't be of much help without his bag and legged it off to find it so he could get some more ammo. I can entrust this to you, right, Kagome? <333

((Sorry about not posting for a few months. If I made any error I apologize and will gladly change them.))
Garath listened to what needed to be done. Everything seemed to be going down hill since earlier that day. First the zombie out break and now the car breaking down. Though put inperspective maybe things were getting less worse. A broken down car in the midle of a zombie hoard was bad. But it wasn't as bad as the actual zombie out break. Maybe in a couple of hourts their luck would improve to the point of stubed toes. He disregarded that train of thought. Time to be serious. He considered joining Thomas in sniping but decided against it. He had never fired a gun before in his life. Which was kind of sad considering he knew a few of his friends had gone hunting before, but he had never bothered learning. He knew nothing about cars but he had seen a tire changed once. Plus he could at least help move stuff. "I'll join you Nina on the tire." He finally said as he grabbed his backpack and sword. The medicine probably was nothing compared to what was in the truck but Garath planed to at least take it with him. His origninal walking staff he decided to leave at Nina's house. When the out break was over he would come back and pick it up. This time it would be a double suvenier of the trip to the US and the zombie out break. "I'll follow right after you Nina." He would have volunteered to go first but since she was already there he couldn't say anything without sounding patronizing.

Terry examined the layout of the area. Yeah... I'll be just fine. He put an arm over his shoulder and brought his sniper rifle to firing position. "No can do. I'm staying right here. I'll snipe anything before they can get to you." He said confidently. "You won't have to fend off anything by yourself." Thomas stated his realization aloud, as if he was working to cancel out the sense of confidence he was trying to instill in the young group. Terry turned his head slowly to look in his general direction. Shooting a 'you can't be serious' look in his direction. But, his facial expression told the whole story. These kids need sleep. He was use to not getting sleep, it was a normal part of a marine's duty. You just catch up with a power nap, consisting of 10-minute intervals of sleep when you have the time. A few seconds later Nina almost fell out of the window. His arm shot out, ready to push her back in, but she managed to save herself before that was necessary. Her reaction was the same as his, only more emotional and annoyed. He was ready to be annoyed, he was expecting it (I mean, for Christ’s sake, he was amongst a bunch of teenagers!), and so that’s why things weren’t getting to him nearly as easily. "Yeah, I've got it." He said as his hand went to his a strapped pistol on his leg. It was an M1911A1, used in specific sections of the marines. He got a couple of cartridges as well. He handed all of it to Nina. "Don't waste bullets. Use as needed." Terry stated blandly to Thomas, waiting for Nina to hand them to him. He readied himself with the sniper. "Ready. Go, as soon as you can." He said looking through the scope and militarily motioning her to go forward. "The jack's in the trunk and the lugnut wretch is in the glove box. Don't touch anything else except what you need. If you want this apocalyse to be over, I can't have things breaking and being contaminated on me."

"NO! You're not going-!" Nina blubbered, but cute herself off when she saw the serge pull out his sniper. "Oh..." She mumbled to herself under her breath. After her mini-freak-out, Terry managed to make her feel better again. He got out a gun and some ammo for Thomas. He handed it to her and she took it. She turned around and dumped the items into Thomas's arms. "There you go. Do a good job. My life's in your arms son..." She said with mock-seriousness. It was hard to mock seriousness when one is underlying serious. Nevertheless, that was her nature and she was good at it. A few moments later Garath volunteered to assist her. "You’re coming with me? Really?! Thank you so much!" She said with a grin. She could feel the stress lift off her shoulders. "Alright, just follow me." She said jumping out of the window frame and on to the fire escape. There was a dull rattling noise on the metal as the rubber soles of her Goth combat boots took the impact of the landing. Nina leaned over the rail of the platform a little bit to get a look at the truck. "Pop off and on hubcaps... Makes sense for a military vehicle... Needs to be ready at a minute’s notice I guess." She looked to the jeep. "This is going to take longer than I would like... Since we have to get two vehicles..." She said with a bit of whininess in her tone.
She looked back at the group, fighting the urge to gulp loudly. "I'm depending on you guys." She said and waved once. She turned off and quickly shuffled her way down the stair to the second platform. She looked down the ladder and finally did gulp aloud. I have to do this quickly or I'm going to get second thoughts. she thought as she started the action. She quickly got down onto the ladder and climbed her way down. The last few rungs of the ladder were made extremely hot by the nearby flames. She quickly let go, changing her position to land safely as the last moment. As she made dull thud hitting the ground, she felt terribly exposed and she could feel hysteria building up inside of her. She looked all around her quickly making sure she was safe, all the while blowing her slightly burnt hands. There were charred corpses all around the fire and headless ones even closer. They were the ones that had to be taken down individually. They were the ones who were banging on the outside not too long ago. The heat was intense all around her as she waited for Garath to make his way down. The heat came in waves with the pattern of the flames. Her immediate want was to take off her jeans jacket. However, she dared not. She rather be sweating then exposed to bites. She took the rapier off her hip, scabbard and all. She stepped to the edge of the fire and used the rapier to push aside a corpse. This made a flameless space for her and Garath to get through. The rest of the group would use it later. She went to pull her rapier back, she realized it had penetrated through the corpse. She jerked hard to get it back. She squeaked in a very feminine manner and ducked as ashes from the corpse flung up. I know the virus probably died in the fire... I know that all the liquid was probably evaporated and there is no risk of infection... I was just... just being cautious... Yeah that's it. she tried to convince herself as she stood straight up. She felt safe behind the fire and was loathing running out of the ring.
Jain called down to Nina in an annoyed tone. She asked her what was taking her so long and why she was being a baby. "At least I came down here! Besides, I'm not going anywhere until Garath is with me." Nina prodded back stubbornly, crossing her arms over her chest. A few seconds later, she heard a deep-throated growl that sounded oddly like a dog. She quickly flinched into a stance with her rapier. "What do you see up there!?" she asked the group above. Jain bit her lip. She leaned out of the window slightly and stuttered out the answer. She said it was probably a German Sheppard before, with a nervous laugh. She said it was sniffing the air. "Shoot it! Please, just shoot it!" Nina said hunching slightly, the position giving away how scared she was. She was near the edge of tears. No, no no no no! she repeated in her head over and over again. It's like the hellhounds on Resident Evil... she remembered watching Nicholas play through the game with Kalila. They had all been scared sh*tless.
((I'll post for Kalila, Nicholas, Ada, and Nikita in a bit... Let me build up the inspiration.))

[[Yeah... I know, this post sucks...]] David heard what they were saying, and he wanted to calm down. But his instincts were going crazy. He wasn't scared, as much overprotective. His wife was hurt, his son was in danger, he was in danger, his friends were in danger, and there wasn't anything he could do. It was starting to get to him. David said, "Maybe we can make a door that can be opened from the inside, in case some of your friends make it here and we already closed off the doors..." David said, sweating as he heard the footsteps of infected through the store. Alex could see his dad wasn't thinking clearly. He was being spuratic and not focusing. This was the first time Alex had seen his dad trully afraid. Sarah was listening to David's comments and agreed. She continued, "We should have the doors around back like that. Make them so they can't be opened from the outside, by an infected. But make them so that we can open them if any non-infected come along..." She said, making it seem like David was thinking clearly. David was looking in every direction, making sure that an infected couldn't sneak up on him. He was beating himself up mentally for letting his wife get hurt. Alex could see that his father was really worried. It suprised him how much of his dad's self confidence went away when his mom got hurt. Sarah knew it was her fault David was acting this way, she would reassure him later however. There was no time for small talk right now. Sarah heard somthing. She turned sideways, kicking the rack of toys over. It fell, and there was a loud cracking sound, followed by a sound that sounded like something being squished. There were roars from some infected. They had been crushed under the weight of the rack. From the roars, there had to be maybe four infected on the other side that were squished, maybe more. David was suprised by this. Even though she was hurt, she was able to pick out that there were infected on the other side of the rack. The suprising thing was that she was able to pick out the infected on the other side from the many random footsteps from throughout the store.
