can we still make requests? Like... not to be considered for the art request portion of the event but just to give people more options when they don't feel like doing the themes?

that's still ok, yes ^_^ a number of people are just doing the challenges and not being in the contest itself

Just a thought: It could be neat to see one of the themes for each day be something a little more personal. Something like "a loved one " or "your pet" or "the last movie you saw" or "your favorite tv show." It would throw in some variety to the themes. :3 (And would encourage drawing from life/photographs!)
I'll forward that suggestion to kai ^_^ I know she already has all the themes picked out, but she might be able to personalize them or whathaveyou
