The next morning, Luna wakes up in prime form. She was so bored the day before until she found that little door, so today she wants to explore some more, to see what she can find on the ship. She begins with her room, tugging open the drawers and peeking under the bed. All she finds though are bunches of silk fabric that smell very interesting (how is she to know they are clothes?) a desk with funny black liquids in bottles that leave interesting tracks on paper when she walks through the puddle from the one she spills, an enormous trunk that she cannot open by herself (thank goodness, can you imagine Luna inside Lyssan's trunk of many things) and a small black lacquer box, trimmed in gold and set on it's side, so the top opens like a door. She manages to get the lid of the box open but only the barest of cracks when she smells something so familiar it makes her heart ache with longing.

And this is where Kerobian finds her stretched out before the small shrine on the table it sits on with her nose to the crack, tiny draconic tears sliding down her cheeks. The room is an utter mess. Unmentionables are scattered everywhere. She is really rather fortunate some of those drawers didn't fall on her head. There is a pool of ink next to an overturned bottle on top of the desk, luckily none of it has gotten onto anything important and her bedding is halfway on the floor.

At first Luna seems happy in the room, as she explores the space with enthusiasm, but then she begins to realize something and goes to where the shrine had been. She looks back over her shoulder and Kero and begins to cry. "Home... home gone..." and nothing he does seem to console her.

She seems to be fine with the arrangement, but later on he hears a loud clatter coming from her room and when he runs down to see what was wrong he finds her buried in toys. Apparently she was trying to climb up on top of the chest and get to the shrine and using toys to help boost her upwards.

One of her wings is sprained, maybe even fractured. She is trying to be brave and not to cry, but tears are beginning to leak and run down her cheeks. "Home..." she says miserably.

Her bottom lip quivering, she nods slowly, looking him straight in the eye. "Owwwie..." she moans trying not to move her wing.

It feels like a sprain, but Kero really isn't certain that is all that is wrong. The tissues about the bone are all hot and inflamed and beginning to swell. He suspects a green stick fracture, rather than a clean break and wonders how he is going to immobilize it. One thing for certain, even with a bit of speed healing, Luna isn't going to be flying anywhere anytime soon.

Ah, it's a break alright. In the long weight bearing bone of the right wing. Because she is so young and the bone is hollow, it cracked along its lengths when one of her toys landed on it the wrong way. Such breaks heal rather fast, and too much cellular manipulation in one so young can be dangerous, so it may be best ye simply splint it and let nature take it's course.
