tam swears vehemently and dashes into the alley... using his nose to follow the cub...

*Realizing he's being followed, the cub dives underground in a sandy area...then surfaces in a river, swimming through a park*

tam trails him to the sandy spot and realizes with a sinking feeling that the cub has slipped his visual leash... swearing a blue streak, tam does something he rarely does in the so-called real world he takes on his mythical form... that of a griffin and takes to the air.... in ever widening circles he scans the area for the cub... hoping he surfaces close to where he disappeared.....

a touch angry, but more from a urge to shake the cub up than anything... tam flies down and plucks him from the river and flies with him to the shore.....

fortunately the claw does nothing more than shred the tips of a few feathers... and when he drops kerobian lightly on the ground, tam quickly shifts back to fox form.... whoa... take it easy... ye want to do me permanent damage? he asks lightly.... he gives himself a hard shake and then sits down to watch kero's reaction.....

*Kero's eyes widen...and Tam finds himself holding off a bundle of fur, fangs, and claws...and Kero is using the stinger as a club...it has enough mass to be an effective one...especially when Kero manages to swing it up between Tam's legs*
