Opal was curled tightly in a corner of the bed that she had placed Vaati in, in her kitten form, she looked like a light blue ball of fluff. She was fast asleep, exhausted from the day's events. Her ears would occasionally twitch, but she didn't stir.
Josline jolted awake to a searing pain in her leg. But instead of crying out, she just bit into her lip, almost hard enough to break the skin. She noticed she was still on Kaze's lap. The man was leaning against the wall fast asleep. She blinked up at him. Had he stayed by her side this whole time? He could left long ago... but he didn't.

Zathier couldn't stop himself from thinking back to his loving parents. They had looked after him for so long, and he just ran away, seeking adventure. Zathier sighed and looked back at Alyssa. "Sorry..." He murmured as a single tear drop ran down his face.
Kaze looked down at Josline. "Are you alright?" He asked as his eyes shifted over to her leg. "Would you like me to bandage your leg for you?" Kaze asked.

Alyssa hugged him tightly. She was angry with herself for bringing the topic up.
Vaati glanced at her. So Opal was tired too? The fish would wait until later. He curled up around Opal, as if he was defending them, then quickly drifted back to sleep.

Zathier slowly wrapped his arms around Alyssa and hugged her back. "... My parents... died... while they were searching for me..." He murmured sadly."

Opal felt Vaati wrap his body around her, the little ball of fluff uncurled and leaned up against Vaati, purring softly one as she laid her head on his paws. She looked like she was enjoying her sleep, probably dreaming about something she enjoyed.
Josline looked down at her leg. "No, it's alright, I can do it myself. Um... can you hand me my bag it's over there." She asked, embarrassed, pointing over to a corner a black bag in it.

Kaze shook his head as he grabbed Josline bag. He placed it on the corner of the bed and rolled Josline's pant leg up. "I'll put the bandage on." He said firmly. Kaze knew that she wasn't going to just ask him to do it, so he went ahead and grabbed some bandages to fix Josline's leg up.

"Zathier, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have brought it up." Alyssa muttered, patting his back gently.
Vaati's ears flicked gently, hearing Zathier and Alyssa's voice. He used the wind to shut the window and snuggled his head into the sheets.

"Wait Kaze there's a-" But she was cut of f when she held her hand over her mouth, trying to fight back the reflexes she had, as well as a fit of laughter. Josline was extremely ticklish.
Opal ears twitched, hearing the window snap with shut, but she didn't wake. Nor did she even stir.

"There's a what?" Kaze asked as he rolled the pant leg just over Josline's knee. Now he had plenty of room to wrapped her leg in bandages.

"Ticklish reflexes?" A wide grin etched its way across Kaze's face. He moved his hand over to Josline's normal leg. "You mean, like this?" His hand started tickling her.

Josline's normal leg suddenly jerked away from him. "No Kaze!" Josline said, a small giggle slipped from her lips.

Kaze's grin got bigger. "So... just how ticklish are you?" He quickly grabbed the bottom of her foot and tickled her.
