Vaati rolled onto his back with a small purr.
"I'm stiff." Alyssa mumbled, turning her wrists around. She didn't know how long she was stone for, but it was too long.

Opal looked over at Vaati. Walking over, she gently lifted him up into her arms. "Let's leave these two alone." She whispered to the cat. She smiled, standing up straight, heading back to the inn.

Zathier sighed a bit and pulled Alyssa into a hug. "Yeah... You could say I kept watch over your body while Kaze and Josline were off finding Vaati." He explained. It wasn't a lie, he did keep watch over her stone body, even if it was against his will. "You were a statue for several hours." Zathier said as he let go of Alyssa.

Zathier's ears folded a little. "Sorry." He murmured as his ears popped back up. "I'll say it this way then. I kept watch over you while Kaze and Josline were finding Vaati." He said, rephrasing his last sentence.

Alyssa smiled. "That's better! Now where did the puppies- or, what do you want to do?" She asked as she glanced back at Opal and Vaati. Their relationship appeared to be more complicated then just being 'friends.'"

Zathier looked at the evil tree, but sat down under it since Alyssa was there. "You ran away too?" He blurted out, then quickly turned his head away and covered his mouth.

Vaati stretched out in her arms before he woke up. Despite the fact he was still exhausted, he still wanted to be with Opal. "I crave fish." Vaati mumbled.
"My parents did nothing but fight a lot. I didn't want to be there so I ran away to Kakariko. It looks like they don't really care, otherwise I someone would be here right now." Alyssa explained, glancing at him curiously.

She was reminded briefly of Vaati. Sometimes she could hear Ezlo speculating what went wrong with him. If Ezlo didn't know, Vaati probably didn't like to talk about it either. Alyssa desperately wanted to know, but she decided not to press on the matter anymore. "I understand."
