Josline shook her head when he asked to carry her again. "Then she lookup at Ezlo when he wished for her to warp them inside. She looked up at the window where Vaati was probably holding Opal. She was able to see a bit of the room with her Silver blue eyes. Taking Kaze's hand, she pulled him through the shadows, appearing in the room, right near the window.
Silver froze when she heard Darious voice, feeling him step out of the shadows, a shiver ran down her spine when he took her into a hug. By instinct, and remembering the night of her wedding, she pulled away. "No! Let me go this instant Darious, what gives you the nerve-" But she stopped when he said to let himself explain. Explain what? "Explain what?" She repeated out of her head.

"If it wasn't for me, Arious would have been converted into a shadow. Since I helped him, I get anything I want and nothing will make me happier than a long, passionate kiss from you." Darious chuckled, his cold hand dancing across her cheek.
Vaati hissed. He didn't have to see them to know that they were there. "How did you get here?"

Silver looked at Darious wide eyed. How could she know she could take his word for it? He lied to her on the night of her wedding to get time alone with her, why would he speak of the truth now? But then she remembered April, saying how her father had been changing. She felt that Darious really could be speaking the truth. Feeling his hand, his cold hand, feeling her body shiver. But her ears folded back. "... Fine..." Silver finally said, after she made her decision. If what was true, and Darious truly helped her husband, she was guessing she had no other choice. She would either owe him her life, or give him what he wanted.
Opal blinked over at Kaze and Josline, she knew what they were going to do. They were going to take her away from Vaati. They were going to hurt him! Half of her wanted to leave, but the other half couldn't bare to leave. The two sides fought with each other. Opal clutched her head feeling conflicted.
Josline just looked over at Opal, her hands clenching into fist at the bruises, Vaati had been hurting her. He really had turned back to evil, she knew that the Vaati she knew would hiss at people, maybe even make some snide comments, but he was NEVER rude to Opal or even dared to hurt her. "We're here to stop you Vaati!" She shouted.

Kaze glared at Vaati. He readied himself to fight against the cat, Vaati. "You know why we're here, so just hand Opal over." He said, but knew the wind mage wasn't going to just hand her over so easily. Alas, it was still worth a try.

Vaati chuckled. "Do you realize how stupid that sounded? Were sis you pull those line from?" His eyes crossed for a brief moment before he collected himself. "Try me."

Kaze stared Vaati in the eye. "No problem." He rushed forward, drawing both swords and slashing Vaati. Kaze cut his outfit and kicked him up against the wall. "Josline, get Opal out of here." He muttered as he waited for Vaati's attack. Only a fool tried his luck at continual attacks, so Kaze stayed back, knowing Vaati would have had a windy trick up his sleeve if he got too close.

Vaati laughed, then stopped quickly. His ears pinned back in anger. "She's mine!" He growled, slapping Kaze with bulky, purple arm. A flying eyeball with two massive arms quickly took the small purple mage's spot. The tower shook as he grabbed kaze and warped outside.

Opal was still conflicted about her decisions and dropped to her knees, her eyes closed not even able to see Josline rush to get her out of here, and not feeling vortex of wind surround around her as she warped outside. She blinked looking up seeing Kaze and monster Vaati in a flurry of wind. She looked like she was trapped in some kind of wind cage. She looked around frantically, fear spread through her, touching out at the wind but pulled back as it bit at her. It didn't even listen to her when she tried to take control of it.
Josline was knocked back when the cage of wind surrounded around Opal. Was this Vaati's work? She watched as Vaati warped Kaze outside. "No! Kaze!" She almost screamed. She rushed to the window and jumped out, spotting Kaze and Vaati near the castle.

Kaze's eyes widened when Vaati transformed. He struggled around in Vaati's grasp until he freed himself. Kaze jumped far back away from the, what now seemed like, wind demon, Vaati. He looked at the huge eyeball strangely. "And here I thought you couldn't get any worse looking. I guess was wrong." He teased and grinned. "Although, I never would have thought a wimpy child's face could turn into such an ugly fiend." Kaze scanned the new body. "His body seems to be made out of some kind of dark wind. If I can disrupt that, it might knock him off balance long enough for a critical strike." He thought, then turned his attention to the wings and eyeball. "Seems like that's the only two spots that could even be considered vulnerable." Kaze readied himself to fight.
(Weird, demonic, eyeball-Vaati does have wings, right?
Also, bedtime! Cliffhangers suck!)

((He should have wings. At least one of his forms in one of the games has wings. If anything, he can be a mixture of both.))
Vaati went first. He swirled the wind around him into something that resembled a tornado as smacked his claws into Kaze's arm.
"Heh, thanks for cooperating. Arious wasn't fond of this idea, but it's what I wish for." Darious mumbled, pressing his lips on hers.

Kaze wined in pain and stabbed Vaati's claw. After Vaati let go of his arm, he back-flipped away, then glared at his huge eye. "Such a target is far too big to miss..." The only problem was getting near Vaati without him blowing him back or clawing at Kaze's flesh. Kaze looked at tornado and sighed. "He just can't stay away from using pathetic tricks, like that." He shook his head to remain focused. Kaze built up a quick tornado and made it bigger so it would, at least, slow Vaati's tornado down.

Silver felt Darious lips press against her, fighting against her instincts to pull back. Feeling Darious kiss her passionately, she almost felt like she was kissing Arious. Except for the small chill that crept it's way slowly down her back. She almost felt herself kissing him back, her eyes closed.

Vaati felt his own tornado die down before he blasted out a fury of spheres at Kaze. Though he seemed cool, Vaati had little control over himself. He did everything with little thought to it. Vaati clapped his hands together around Kaze.

Kaze struggled when he was grabbed by Vaati again, but this time he settled down and just grinned at Vaati. He blow a great magnitude of wind right in his eye and took his chance when Vaati had to close his eye. He jumped out of the Vaati's weakened grasp and grinned. This was as good chance to stab the bat-demon in the eye. Kaze sunk low to the ground and dashed forward to thrust his sword into Vaati's giant eye.

"NO!" Opal screamed seeing Kaze lunge at Vaati, suddenly the wind blasted the sword out of Kaze's hand, tears were streaming down Opal's face.
