Shin heard the small noise sitting up sleepily realizing that the water had gone off, though there was still no sine of lex. Shin got up, dragging the blanket along with him, rather fond of the thing at the moment, leaving the room and walking out to the bathroom. He stood there for a moment giving the door a quizzical look, it was still closed, but there was no shower running?
"Hey lex, did you drown yourself in there?" he asked laughing a little as he stood next to the door, playing with the fringes of the blanket.

"No. I'm fine," Alex answered back. He lifted his head up from the door and looked more carefully at the crack in it. He chuckled a little bit, wondering how he was going to explain it. He brushed it aside, unlocking the door and opening it, a little surprised to find Shin there. "See? Not drowned."

Shin shook his head "Nah not drowned still you dont look to happy lex" He said smiling at the boy "poor little door didnt stand a chance against you" he said laughing still wondering if lex was okay but deciding not to push on the subject to much.

"The door tried to find out what was wrong. And look what happened to it? I can guarantee a lifetime of nightmares if I told you what was wrong," Alex said, laughing just a little, walking past Shin and onto the balcony, though he didn't go too far onto it. He just leaned on the house wall, staring up at the sky.

Shin laughed a little he couldnt help it "A lifetime of nightmares lex? I think I could live with that, im a bit more resilient than a door" he said following the boy "So do you feel like telling me whats up?" he asked simply watching his friend.

"Mm. . .I wonder," Alex replied. he looked up a second later before looking at Shin, a smile crossing his face. "Just thinking about the past and why I was even targeted by a psychotic demon. Nothing special."

Shin smiled back nodding "I wont pry then, you should stop thinking about that stuff though...it allways seems to make you unhappy" he said pulling out little loose threads he was finding in the blanket "You were targeted by him, probably because hes a nut case. I dont know he never really told us why he was after you..." he said shrugging "Hes just a bat freaked b*****d is all, thought that you were someone he could kill off easily. You kind of showed him up on that one, seeing as your still alive and hes dead" he said smiling.

"I know it makes me unhappy. But it creeps up on me," Alex sighed. "But you know. . .it doesn't bug me as much as it used to. I wonder why." He laughed a little before holding his hand out in front of him, summoning his little necklace. "It still bugs me. He came close to telling me once."

Shin smiled "He almost told you? Heh, bat freak is so very secretive isnt he, just like you kinda" he said shrugging giving the necklace a little glare "Its okay though, hes dead and we dont realy need to know...maybe next time the guy gets a hold of you ill ask him" he said though jokingly, he didnt want darien to take over alex again,t hat was to scary.

"Don't compare me to him. It's creepy," Alex cringed. "I couldn't do what he did even if I wanted to. Which I don't." He looked at the necklace again before clenching it into his hand, forming a fist and punching it in the air. "Enough about depressing stuff, though. 'Cause there's no way I'm going to give in. And if someone tries to kill me? Too bad for them!"

Shin nodded "I promise then that Ill never compare you two, your right your not like him" he said smiling as he hear alex sound happy suddenly "Finally, heh i suppose I can drag it out of you later, I can wait. Its nice to hear you happy"

"On days like this, I honestly wish I had wings," Alex admitted. He held his hand in front of himself again, looking at the necklace. He bit his lip before he merely pocketed it, getting rid of whatever thoughts he was having. "However, they look like a bit of a hassle."

Shin laughed "There hardly a hassle lex, sides I can fly you anywhere you want" he said smiling "Who knows, maybe you can trade in that stupid necklace for some wings huh? That would be awesome!" he said happily watching his friend "What are you thinking of anyways? We can take off and do something if you want, all the others are asleep it seems...understandable specialy tohru, poor guy lost so much blood.." he said stopping there shaking his head "Its all good though"

"I'm turning down that offer. I like this necklace. Even if it can be a pain sometimes," Alex said, looking at his friend. "I'm not really thinking of anything in particular. Doing something sounds nice. Better than staying home. And yes, Tohru did lose a ton of blood. That's three people I know of. And with each, my utter hatred for Enzai grows." He took a deep breath and sighed. "But I don't think getting angry will help anything."

Shin smiled nodding "Well definetly go off somewhere, keep you and that temper of yours distracted" he said glancing out over the yard "Its nice out...and the key to hating someone like enzai, is to do it with a smile lex" he said laughing glad the boy wouldnt get angry, shin didnt quite think he could deal with dairen if he decided to visit right now.
