Thank you, whoever gave me the two gifts!
Unfortunately, a system glitch disappeared them when I tried to open them -- it said "problem adding to inventory" or something like that. gonk
I've reported the glitch... but whoever the person/s is/are who gave them, you might want to report the glitch, too... maybe it will get more of a response.

And I just now tried to give a gift to someone, and I got a "general error' system message, but the item disappeared from my inventory anyway. I think the gift program isn't working right now....

Been a very long day for me, it looks like my video card might be committing suicide. I gave away a few more gifts and now have my catch of the day, up on market place to earn more gold. I like gold must earn more, so I can buy more stuff. Because it's fun in some totally strange and demented way to give stuff to other people you really don't know. Of course the thing to remember is I'm insane.
