Kojiro would notch another arrow, move up, and aim at the cultist's back. The Scorpion really didn't expect to obey this command, but Kojiro would try.
"Yield or else!" Hopefully he made the inflection just right so that the Cultist would imagine much worse than mere death.

A wave of relief washed over her as she felt his nerves freeze up from her delicate touch, followed by a start of surprise as a Crab came flying across her field of vision to tackle the guy. It wasn't over yet, though. Her kiho was far from perfect and she knew the knife-wielding fanatic would be moving again any moment now. She had to act. Fast.
Crouching down to the tangled pair at her feet, she jerked the knife out of the paralyzed cultist's grip before he had the chance to make a second swipe. She hadn't forgotten where he had aimed that first swipe, however, so on the uptake she made sure to aim a solid kick to his head in an effort to knock him out and end the encounter right there.
[Agility/Jiujutsu 6k3 (attack first 8, damage last 6), 3 raises for Called Shot to the Head: 16 - 15 = 1]

Masuyo apparently chooses not to take chances. Pulling his weird knife from his hand before he shook off the paralysis, she punted him in the skull, and he would suddenly go limp.

With that, Kojiro would gather up his things and go off *carefully* In the direction he heard the scream, mindful of Kagae's little suprises.

Without Precise Memory, Kojiro will need a fairly difficult Perception/Investigation (Notice) or Perception/Hunting roll to know which direction the scream came in, since it woke him from slumber and did not happen while he was awake. The same goes for the rest of you.

Kagae watched Kojiro go and realising there wasn't much point leaving Masuyo or going back to sleep he would walk back to his area and begin putting on his armour.
"Help me with this would you? Tie him up first though." He asked Masuyo.

The little Dragon bent down to hush her agitated companion as she took stock of the situation. "Ujina-san?" she blinked, absently casting about for the party member in question before finally realizing that he was, in fact, gone. Her heart sank. They were down to three, and if this man had had his way it would have been even less. The Scorpion was wrong. He must have answers, and she would get them.
She nodded to Kagae and started digging through her things, only to realize she didn't actually have what they needed. "D'we've any rope? I r'member some 'ad tents..."

Bayushi Kojiro steps outside of the temple and looks around, trying to get his bearings. Now that he thought about it, the scream WAS kind of distant. It could have really come from a lot of places. He would walk around a bit, but find no evidence of where it came from.
The distance might be telling in of itself, but right now, in the middle of the night, Kojiro has no leads.

Frustrated (As always) Kojiro would return to the Jade Warden's encampment. Hopefully Denbe hadn't blundered into one of Kagae's traps. They were short handed enough as it was.

As Kagae began to put on his greaves he would hear Masuyo asking for rope, "I might have some rope left over. Check in my pack in a rolled up bundle of stuff which I use for traps if there isnt any there feel free to modify my tent to what we need I can fix it later."

With another nod she bounded over to the Crab's pack and searched through for the first bit of suitable rope she could find while politely avoiding as much as she could. Once found, she would head back to their unconscious assailant and tie him up as best she could.
(Since Masuyo is trying to avoid being intrusive upon personal belongings, the GM can decide where the ropes come from.)

ROPE OF FUNDOSHI Masuyo manages to scrounge together enough lengths of rope to bind the man's limbs together, but nothing so secure as a full body restraint; it's something that someone might be able to wiggle out of with enough time, but for the time being, he should be secure.
We can assume that with Masuyo's help, Kagae armors up around the same time as Kojiro gets back.
