*Meanwhile, Kero has recovered, and returned the sword...with a thank you card to boot. Luciel has reclaimed his room, and is pestering Champhy for gemstones. Hopian has returned to his home. And Kero has approached Lyssan and Amestru*
Lord and Lady...(That's never a good sign)...I wish to speak with you about something...in order to learn true sight-magic, Shia would have to study in the Void...I have a routine meeting, not even a year long, in my office coming up...I wish to take her with me, so that she may see what it is like...are you averse to this?

Hold on tight...and close yer eyes...the sights in the Void can be dangerous, no matter how pretty they are.
*When he is sure she's got a good grip, he shoots off into the Void, allowing the cycle to carry them at 10,000 MPH towards his office*

amestru tries to lighten lyssan by teasing her... ye know... iffin we could find someone to take keva off of our hands we could finally take that joint vacation we've been dreaming about fer so long..... rolleyes

outside of the fact the fizban, albeit a powerful avatar of paladine... has a very distinct habit of forgetfulness and long naps... what a lovely combination.... biggrin

*Okay...not being wathced by Fizban, who has fallen asleep, Keva and Luciel manage to get into trouble...accidentally dumping a jug of Vinegar into Champhy's pool*
*Meanwhile, Kero has finally arrived at his office, and he and Shia are greeted by his other apprentice, Rhea, who hands him a sheaf of reports and a golden apple*
Thanks, Rhea...*Moves to his desk and sets Shia down*...okay, kiddo...I have to go to a meeting with the four kings of the Void...I'll be back soon...play with whatever you want...but don't touch any computers or files...and don't eat the golden apples on my desk...*He leaves, with Rhea in tow...then pokes his head back in*
Don't worry...yer safe...no creature can get in this office, except yer Uncle Jor...yer safe as can be.
*Leaves with Rhea, leaving Shia alone in his office*

shia looks at rhea... ok... what's with the golden apple bit.... mom says they don't taste as good as the real deal so i should avoid them.... something about chipping teeth....
meanwhile baack at the ranch... champhy is chasing ludeil around the garden while keva watches from a perch high in a tree... he is clinging for dear life hoping she'll forget about him soon.....

The apples are real apples...they're only the color of gold....and they are very sweet...but if Kero says don't touch them, then don't touch them...I don't know what they are either...only that they smell heavenly...

*Some are in languages she cannot read...some are chained off...some seem to speak of secret power...and mixed in are books on the theory of magic...Master level or higher...Shia is amazed...these are the instruction booklets for all elemental magic...the basic manual for mages...she finds Fire, Water, Air, Lightning, Ice...then one on Void...and Twilight...then one on Sight-magic....Master Level*
