"What in the name are you talking about? I don't remember being any different!" Vaati let go, letting her drop to the floor. "You and Kaze ruined my fun."
"That's not the case, Shadow. I'm just tired of repeating myself. Why what I expect out of a girl besides the fact that she has to be drop-dead beautiful. I would not date an ugly woman. There, happy now?" Darious sipped the wine, wondering if it was physically possible for a shadow to get drunk.
"Are you still going to defend that lowlife? I'm impressed you didn't turn out that way." Saya put her hand on her stomach again. She always connected Liam to being similar to shadow she was carrying. Maybe that was why she couldn't bring herself to harm him. Would it be the same as hurting her own child?

Kaze slowly pulled away from the kiss and smiled at Josline. "There now." He murmured as he pulled her into a hug to try and stop her tears.

"Y-you don't remember? How could you not?!" Opal shouted, looking at him. What had made him loose his memory of the Vaati she met? Then if he couldn't remember being different then how come he can remember her? And remember that she loves him. Vaati has to still be in there... she thought. I have to get him out before everyone decides they have to kill him.
Josline felt him her close. "Promise you'll never send me away again... okay... please I'd rather die at your side than live and never had a chance to help you..." She sobbed, or even say goodbye.

Kaze looked down at Josline. He was silent for a moment, not sure if he wanted to make that promise. "Josline... I would rather you live, than die with me..." He murmured. Kaze didn't want the end of his life to be the end of hers.

Josline ears folded. "But... I don't want to live without you..." Josline buried her face in her chest, trying to fight off the tears that were coming. Her brown hair hiding her face and tears.

Arious looked back. "April!" He dashed forward. and dropped next to her. "Are you alright?! What are you doing!? Go back to the house. I said I'd be right back!" He blinked what was he doing, yelling at her? what was wrong with him? He blinked his eyes. he picked up a shard of a mirrior and looked at his reflection. His eyes were still red. "What the hell is going on with me?" He whispered. He dropped the mirrior.
Liam shook his head. "How could he do that.. be so cruel... How can I forgive him for this?! Shdaow... He is the one that should have been my true father... not that monster." He glared at the ground still not believing that Helios had kept this from him.
Shadow laughed. "Very beautiful? My my... I would have to agree.. But I like some other qualities... like.. gentleness... kindness... and happiness..." He sighed. Lisaya was everything he was not. But he wondered about Darious. It would be interesting if he fell in love.

April looked up at her father, seeing her cut hands and knees. But yet again, she did not cry from the pain, but rather from her father's rough voice. Her eyes looked into his. "Why did daddy go? Is he mad at April?" April asked, almost with a sob.
Josline looked over seeing Arious and the crying April. She wanted to rush over to April to see if she was alright. She was worried about her wounded hands and knees.

"Why are you acting like I actually have friends? I hate everyone and everyone aside from you hates me back. Heh heh, I love it!" Vaati snapped, falling to the floor with laughter, his ruby coloured eyes crossed.
"It makes you wonder why it is she chose him, doesn't it? He's a jerk, but Lisaya is too innocent and naive to notice." Saya watched him, concerned about his feelings.
"You like everyone is totally the opposite of you? You might as well date your original. Now THAT would be interesting." Darious rolled his eyes again. Why were they talking about this?

((WOW. I was cooking and i found a raw biscuit on top of the cieling fan.... this is what happens when I leave my father in the kitchen alone...))
Shadow laughed. "Very funny! I'm not gay for one. And for two, If I see him again, I'll kill him. or at least.. try." He sat his wine glass down. A thought struck him. "Say... if Arious were to disappear... Do you think you would go after Silver? I mean she is quite a woman... even if she is an elf. Not quite my type... but eh... whatever floats your boat..."
Arious shook his head. "April... please, stay away from me... go home... NOW!" He cursed. Something was terribly wrong. Dark! Get over here NOW! He called out with his magic. He then stared at his hand. Was his skin getting paler? And his veins.. black?
Liam shook his head. "How could she?! I mean... he did horrible things to her! Placed her under spells... almost killed her in his anger... " He balled his hands into fists. "How can I love a man who did that? He is selfish! He cares about no one but himself! And getting his way!" He stood then threw a ball of magic into the air. It exploded showering flames in the sky.
Helios looked up from the chess game. "What was that?!" He said. Rugen simply shrugged his shoulders.

Opal looked at him and shook her head. "My name is Opal, not Hun, Sweetie or Dear." Opal said, her arms cross across her chest.
April blinked up at her father. "No! April don't want to go!" April cried, rushing over to her fathers side. She didn't even noticed his sudden change in appearance, it was just his voice that scared her.

Dark jumped out of his shadow. "What is- What the? What did you do yourself?" He couldn't help but to gawk at him. If it wasn't for the hair, he would have mistaken him for Darious.
"I wouldn't mind her if she was just a little nicer. She tried to kill me. Now what's your problem?" Darious growled, gulping the wine down.
"The truth always hurts, sweetie." Saya hardly noticed she called him 'sweetie'. She already felt a motherly bond with him, even though he was technically not her child. She placed a gently, but cold hand on his shoulder.
"I know your name, hun. I'm not just not using it. Get used to it, you're not getting out of the wedding!" Vaati mumbled, rolling his eyes.
