Envy looked up at him and nodded, not wanting to shock anyone with her ability of speech. They could just think of her as another dog, but then again. Black and Link knew she was human. She leaned against Link, enjoying being petted, her tail wagging again.

Zelda looked at the dog. "Aren't you just the cutest thing." She smirked. "You're human, aren't you?"

Tenser shrugged and stepped back, motioning her to follow.
"So, you have any stories to tell or will I be hogging most of the conversation?"
He grinned and started to walk, hopeing Eva would follow.

"Not much to say about my past... or even any stories to tell... I was sacrificed by my village to a monster who was sealed away by the goddesses, he spared me if I worked for him, if I refuse him, or run away, I'm basically dead. End of story..." She explained, following next to him. "Sorry, I don't want to down you with a sob story... What about you?" She asked.
Envy jumped up on the bed looking at Zelda's hand seeing the triforce of wisdom and tilted her head.

Tenser sighed. Not much of a talker, was this girl?
"Alright, nice place, almost a utopia, a lot of friends, family, a whole bunch of our kind happy until some of the females grew up to be infertile. Then some of the guys. Population growth became almost zero, no one able to find anyone suddenly. Then the Hylians and Gorons came in and chased us out. We headed to Gerudo desert only to have all of us heading there captured. Almost all men were killed instantly. Then came the women. Soon only a handful of us honed our senses and escaped. Then we got separated, several killed. So basically a thriving civilization happened to have a lot of the wrong problems happen too fast. Now, only the fertile ones escaped, and we swore to not fall in love with other species, as we needed to get ours up and running again. See the problem of being separated?"
Tenser had to stop himself before he started to rant, and become violent.

"I see... So basically, you're looking for a way to repopulate your race... A determined swear... looks like my luck just ran out..." Eva said, touching his shoulder lightly, so he couldn't feel her absorbing his negative feelings.

Tenser gave Eva a confused expression, missing the hand on his shoulder.
"Your what? What do you mean?"
He felt a bit disturbed as his rage and misery after he recalled the things he just mentioned dissappearing much faster than usual, and he tried to take his mind off it. After all, he had to keep watch in case of Ganondorf which he was well equipped f-
Wait, I have orders to kill her...why haven't I yet?

"Oh, it's nothing... you'd probably wouldn't want to hear it..." Eva said, still joking around, but her heart gave a sudden ache. Was she disappointed? It wasn't like she could truly feel love, and she knew this was coming... Besides, he works for the man your master now hates! You could kill him with a single move... But he's not my enemy... Ganondorf is... and he's been kind... Who cares?! He's been ordered to kill you anyways! The moment you let down your guard... he'll stab you in the back... but... if he wanted to do that, why hasn't he done it? But! He said he swore he wouldn't love one other than his kind... why would he go back on that promise now? She argued with a small voice in her head.
(I think Eva picked up Tenser's "Voice" problem, lol)

Tenser....if you really care about her....then go for it. You are not doing our species any kindness by doing this to yourself.

He shooked his head. He was going crazy with this.

Black watched as Zelda sighed. "If she knew that Link and I met Tenser again and had to escape from of a burning forest, she'd kill me for not taking better care of the situation and Link would never hear the end of it..." He thought, but showed no sign that he was thinking about anything.
