Darco heard some shouting near the place where he was searching so he looked over to see what was happening near the waterfall.

Lisaya growled under her breath. He just rejected me! I can't believe this.... I shall have to try again later, when he is not so vexed by these people I am with. Lisaya whispered in to Vaati's mind, "I shall visit you again, when you are not so occupied by other matters. Until next time Vaati..." Lisaya broke the spell and turned away. However, she saw a man in the distance staring at her. She squinted to see who it was.

Sora knew Vaati couldn't leave, not yet. Without thinking, he picked up a rock and chucked it at Vaati's head.
Realizing what he had done, he drew his sword and braced himself.

The man disappeared, so Lisaya thought she was seeing things again. Curse you dumb mind! Get your bearings straight! No one is there! Lisaya flipped her hair out of her eyes and saw Sora staring at her with a strange expression. She tried to smile, but her mood was sour from Vaati. Great... now one of them is suspicious about me... there is no way I can tell them the truth now. I gotta play this off somehow. No one can know about my power. Not yet... "Sora, is there something wrong? Oh and by the way... did you see a small green fairy around here? I swore I saw one..." There that will get him away from pondering about me... he has to think of an excuse now. Ha. Lisaya waited for his reply, but sensed a presence out near the rock. Better keep on my guard.. there is someone out there...

Vaati whipped around, a ball of energy charging between his finger tips. He fired it at Sora, sending him straight into the water.

As much pain as Sora felt, he was happy. Vaati had an immense supply of magic, and he didn't hold back. If only he were more nimble, he could absorb the energy while dodging. And if he missed, he would certainly fire again!
"That, *huff* all you got? *huff*" Sora had the wind knocked out of him. He had much difficulty to even get that sentence out.

Lisaya hopped out of the way. Maybe this is where I should disappear... for some time.. and find out who is behind that rock. Lisaya whistled for MoonShadow and ran out a bit. "I must go! I am afraid a maiden like me would be helpless in this battle anyway!" She grinned in her mind because Vaati knew that she was not 'helpless'. She hopped up on Moonshadow and rode off. She steered in a circle, and came up behind the figure. She dismounted softly and tiptoed behind the man. "And may I ask what you are doing?"

Vaati growled and as he drew his sword. He needed more practice with it anyhow. He slashed at Sora, his anger piling up inside quickly.
"Vaati, you have to stop. There's no reason for this!" Ezlo warned.

He's hiding something.... what is he looking for... he is a bit strange... "Ah but dear sir, please do not send me away. I fear to be by myself and those people are battling with weird lights! They frighten me so!!! Please let me stay with you and lend me your protection. I may even help you search for your object. Please? I beg you!" Lisaya pleaded while giving him puppy eyes. She fluttered her eyelashes and grabbed his hand like a scared child. Come on... I set the bait... what kind of fish would ignore this beautiful treat?

Sora blocked with his sword. That... hat... He thought to himself. The idea seemed to give him strength. Sora spun and made a grab for the hat, trying to keep his side protected with his sword.
