"Yes, especially as a child. Sometimes I would chain him in the bed to make sure he stays in." Impa smiled at the thought. Denji had sleeping issues, expect for actually falling asleep. "He's a fool."

L=Kaylene smiled and sat on the floor. Denji was looked cute when he slept... of course... she reallly didn't like the fact that he muttered in his sleep. She shook her head. Then suddenly a loud growl came from her stomach and she blushed. "Oh... I'm sorry... you will have to excuse me... I haven't ate all day... I ran out of rations earlier... Might you spare a piece of bread for me?" She then bowed her head. "I'm sorry.... that was out of term.... I am sking too much. I am gracious for your hospitality. I didn't mean to impose..." She held her tongue... back home, people were punished when spoke out of term.... She must have forgotten all her teachings after the journey...

Denji's ear twitched as he flicked his eyes open. He rolled over to face Impa. "Can I have bread too?" He was out of bed immediately and quickly shifted to his cat form to wrap his body around Impa's leg.
"Denji you know I hate it when you do that." Impa muttered and gave him a soft boot to keep him away. He was annoying when he was hungry. Impa reached into a cupboard and pulled out large pieces of bread and glasses for water.

Kaylene gasped. "You are a shape shifter too?! Amazing! I knew I sensed something odd about you!" She smiled intrigued.

Askari laughed, seeing Denji as a cat was no surprise to her. "Both Denji and I are." she smiled, "Though we can't shift into any other forms besides cat and human. We're both half-breeds, thus the ears and tails." she said. Her ears twitched and tail swayed.

She shapeshifts too? Denji meowed as he jumped on top of the table and began nibbling on bread that Impa had set out. He meowed, trying to make Kaylene claim her piece of bread. Then he stuck his paw in a cup of water and licked the water off his paw.

Kaylene observed the two as she ate her bread. After she swallowed a mouth full, she said, "I can shape shift into two different things... But I am sure I am not part of them... well at least I don't think so..." She had no idea who her parents were... Somu said that he found her washed up on the shores of an ocean in blanket of feathers and a bed of sponges. He said it was odd, but she just assumed she was thrown off a boat or something... abandoned to die... "Well... I can turn into a dove, or I can turn turn into a fish. The only other signs of the presence of those animals are the fact the I can breathe underwater... and I can control water and ice. Nothing really connects me with the bird thing much..."

Fish? I like fish. Denji purred and rubbed his head against Kaylene. He was just begging to be petted, that wasn't much he liked besides the petting.

Kaylene shook her head. "Now keep your paws off when I do shape shift!" She laughed petting the cat. He was funny. She scratched behind his ears and ruffled his fur. "So what do you do for life?"

I'm the Hero of Time. When I'm not lazy, I'll save Hyrule. I'm lucky Impa doesn't understand cat. Denji glanced at Impa with wide eyes. Impa frowned, she knew something was up with Denji.

"Hero? You mean a hero who goes on adventures? and saves the world?!" Kaylene stared at the cat. She always wanted to go on epic adventures... "I can help you! I am very powerful with magic! And Impa is teaching me how to use a sword and other weapons too! Please let me accompany you!"
