fool, lyssan growls... of course loki knows ye know... but he wants ye anyway... to fuel some off the wall out of this world armageddon thing of his... he wants to use ye as an energy sink.... and ye just tripped his trap.... run jor... run....
the castle begins to shake and rumble.... gonk gonk
(meanwhile kero finds he has to peel shia from the ceiling... he is reaching up to help her disengage her claws from the plaster when a huge chunk falls on his head.... the room is swaying like nobody's business... shia gives a yelp and dives for cover under a desk, trembling like a leaf....

*Jor is gone in an instant...and the shaking soon stops...Kero peels Shia off the ceiling, using his power to heal himself*
Next time ye fall asleep when I'm lecturing, kiddo...I'll send you to Champhy and tell her that you put the weevils in the flour.

tam and amestru come running into shia's room... to find lyssan sitting on the floor cradling the small dragon and arguing vehemently with fizban, who is telling her she needs to leave and now....
amestru's fierce gaze softens as he spies the dragonling and he goes to get him from lyssan... he eyes his mate thoughtfully.... he may be right ye know... if ye stay too long....
lyssan shakes her head... i've an idea... and i'll stay as long as necessary and no longer... iffin he send out his troops.... they'd be coming right about.... a trumpet blast from the roof jars them into action... so one sees lyssan get up and stumbled down a secret stairwell, to a hidden garden door.....

*Meanwhile, Kero has begun to teach Shia about meditation...she seems cowed by the threat of Champhy, leave it to Kero to use that as a threat...and she is proving to be a good student...he stops lecturing when she raises her hand*

*Teleports away, grabbing Hopian in the process...He stops and hugs Shia, Tam, and Keva, then snuggles Luciel for a few moments...then he and Hopian are gone*

meanwhile, lyssan starts walking towards loki's shock troops, as she walks she begins to glow a eery red color... the troops are an adhoc mixture of men and monster and at first they are stunned to see her there, then they swarm towards her... no one makes it near her though... for as she walks she drops her shields and soaks up their life force, they begin to falls like flies.... and she begins to glow brighter and taller by the second... even the ground beneath her feet turns lifeless... it doesn't take long before the opposing troops catch on and try to run away, but by then her draw is too strong... finally she faces loki..... wanna play, old friend, she growls and shifts to dragon form.....

shia hugs him close and hard... which confuses the little dragon... tears are running down her cheeks... but not from laughter....
amestru comes running into the room wild with anger and fear.... he storms up to fizban and confronts him... was this yer idea ye old reptile?
paladine shakes his head in negation... had i known i would have talked her out of it surely i would... what she's done... though necessary has put a dark stain on her heart......
talesian stands at the doorway with keva.... i can't believe yer letting her do all the fightinbg alone, pop... he snarls and turns to go outside...
tam, wait... cries amestru.... i... i... can't lose ye, too... he stammers awkwardly....

lyssan gives an evil grin and reaching out grabs loki's arm and does the same... between the two of them, they don't quite kill the god, but they seriously hamper him for some time to come...... twisted ninja
