Lance watched her cry and felt his heart start to break, he couldn't take it to see her so sad, it made his real self show through, just slightly. "L-leora . . . wait . . ." He said in a more caring tone as he struggled to release Vanessa's enchanting and seductive spell and eld up a shaking and to stop her.

Leora couldn't hold back the tears this time as she turned around and glared at him, the tears just pouring down her face. "I can't take this anymore Lance! You want to end our marriage, fine! I won't tell anyone about our relationship if your don't! I-I'll go as far away as possible, I won't ever see you again if that's what you want, but please . . ." she paused as she gasped for air, her face completely pleading. "Quit toying with me . . . I can't take it . . ." she said and then left, closing the door behind her and heading over to the elevator, pushing the button and waiting for it to arrive. She would find a place where she could be alone . . . and she would confine herself there . . . no visitors . . . she would starve herself. She couldn't go on. She'd get the next plane to one of the most sparcely populated areas in the world and she would leave.
Vanessa scowled at Lance. He was breaking her spell. "Lance baby . . . come to bed with me . . ." she whispered in his ear as she carressed his face, trying to patch up her spell where he had broken through.

When Leora left, he had nothing to hang on to anymore and allowed the spell to envelope him again as he kissed her gently and passionately.
When the elevator arrived at the floor, Melissa was standing there, from what she had heard while Leora was on the phone and from who she could smell in the room with Lance she knew what was going on. "Leora, I heard what Lance said to you on the phone, and it's not for the reason you think. I can smell a girl in the room with him. But she's a demon, a demon of love. He doesn't love her, she's making him love her by a seductive spell, she's going to feed off him and kill him."

Leora gaped, "Wh-what?" she asked and then turned running back to the room in a blind rage, absolutely hating the girl in there now. She threw the door open so that it banged against the wall and lept at the demoness. "You b***h!" she yelled, as she threw punch after punch at her.
Vanessa fought back against Leora, getting in a few slugs of her own, fighting dirty, clawing, pulling her hair. However she was losing since she was trying to keep the spell on Lance in tact.

"Leora, get off of her." He said as he immediately rushed to Vanessa's aid and pushed Leora off of her. "Are you alright, Vanessa?" He asked worriedly as he held her up carefully.
Melissa walked to the doorway and looked inside at the shirtless Lance, the hurt demon, both of which she glared at, and her hurt friend. She decided it might be fair to allow Leora to fight her own fight right now, but if anything went wrong she would start fighting too.

Vanessa wrapped her arms around him. "Lance, get her out of here! She'll ruin everything between us!" she sobbed against his bare shoulder.
Leora glared at her. "There isn't anything between you! Only the stupid spell that you wove and I won't let you kill him!" she said angrily, her eyes flashing red.

Lance held her head as she sobbed against his shoulder and glared at Leora with blood red eyes. "She's not going to kill me , Leora! She loves me and I love her so why don't you just get out of here?!" He said angrily as he held a protective arm around Vanessa. It was no good to tell him there was any sort of spell, since it had already taken effect, even if Vanessa herself told him that, he wouldn't mind.

Leora looked at Lance and shook her head. "I won't leave you to this . . ." she said softly, the tears welling up again in her eyes. "I can't Lance . . ." she said as she stepped towards him.
Vanessa scowled. "Lance, get her out of here!" she sobbed.

When Leora started crying it started to eat away slowly at the spell. "L-leora, I said get out here, now!" He said as he extended his fangs threateningly and balled up the fist that wasn't holding and caressing Vanessa's beautiful and enchanting body. "I don't want to fight you Leora, but I will if you don't leave us alone, now."

Leora looked straight at Lance. "I won't fight you Lance . . . but I'm not going to leave you." she said, dropping all defenses. "I love you too much to do that . . ."
Vanessa could feel her spell starting to weaken and she desperately tried to strengthen it. "Lance, make her leave us alone!" she sobbed.

Lance held Vanessa closer to him but his clenched fist loosened a bit and his expression softened slightly, but he still glared at her and remained silent. The spell was losing it's power over him. He couldn't fight Leora, he couldn't hurt her. He loved her. But he also loved Vanessa a bit more due to the spell, even if it was weakening.

Vanessa was starting to get stressed so she moved to a different plan. She placed her mouth by his ear and started kissing it softly. "Lance . . . get her to leave . . . and I will show you a world you've never imagined . . ." she whispered to him seductively. She had no time for fun anymore. She would have to kill Lance soon, and she perferred to do it with no witnesses, but if worst came to worst . . . she would kill him no matter what, even if she had to do it with Leora there.

By doing that, Vanessa's spell strengthened again and enveloped him. "Leora, leave now." He said in a commanding tone. His face hardened again and his fist clenched as he got into a crouching position, prepared to pounce on Leora and force her out of the room if she didn't leave voluntarily. He wanted that world she spoke of . . .

Leora shook her head. "I can't Lance. I can't . . ." she said, tears falling from her eyes.
Vanessa moved one hand to massage his shoulders. "Make her . . . and I will give you something beyond your wildest dreams . . ." she said, kissing his ear again.

Lance stood still now. He was confused. He looked at Leora, who he had promised he would never hurt and truly loved, then at Vanessa, so seductive and beautiful he couldn't resist . . . He let go of Vanessa and walked over to Leora. Then, suddenly, he pushed her with enough force to push her out the door but not enough force to get hurt. He closed the door but didn't lock it, wanting her to rush in and separate them and lift the spell that was too strong for him. Then, he walked back over to Vanessa with a smile.
"If you ask me we'd better go in again. Remember, he does love you, but her spell is too strong and he doesn't know what he's doing." Melissa told her.
